Re: Re: Sims 3 store content won't stay installed

@dilarake  Please try installing the content into a clean user folder.  Move the entire Sims 3 folder out of Documents > Electronic Arts and onto your desktop, open the launcher to spawn a new folder, download one store item, install it, and see whether it shows up in-game.  If it does, restart your computer and test again, just to be thorough.  If it still works, you can download the rest of your content, but please do so in batches (no more than six items at a time, and world separately), as the launcher doesn't handle large amounts of content very well.

Once your store content is working, you can move your saves and any other content you want to keep from the old Sims 3 folder to the new one.  Here's a description of everything in the user folder in case it helps:

If the above doesn't work, please let me know, and I'd also like to know whether there's any difference at all from how the content has failed to show up previously.  And please list your antivirus, if you use a third-party program.

As a side note, I have a Steam install and reinstalled a bunch of store stuff a month ago, so I know the process still works overall.  It can be finicky though.
