Nope, not fixed :-(
- @4RR4-7 Drat. Thanks for answering. Saved me from starting another career to test.
Nope it's not fixed.
I've played through 2 careers now and you can definitely see that the model is the UFC White/Black top in the UFC tab. I suspect that the texture is supposed to be assigned based on which "corner" you are in for the fight (red/blue) but for whatever reason it's not pointing to it. As I said before, the textures for that top work everywhere else.
In any case that's not why I posted. There is a temporary work around. On PS4 press L3 to bring up the career settings menu. Go down to "Gameplay Settings" and turn on "Vanity Clothing Override". Now you can use anything including all the clothing on the UFC tab (so you can still use UFC appropriate gear) . This gear override will occur everywhere so for example you will no longer wear the T-shirt during the entrances.
- @VBigB Thank you!
- @burntblackwings restore licences on console after update game it worked on my ps4 it a option in the settings

Thank you for the workaround. I'm going to mark this solved so others have an easier time seeing this.
@ShadeDemon94 Thank you for providing this workaround below, too.PS4 users:
Restore the license:
Select
(Settings) > [Account Management] > [Restore Licenses].
If content you've downloaded from PlayStation™Store or add-on content fails to start, this might fix the problem.
No option to do that on Xbox. Although the vanity override works like a charm, this is STILL broken, will it ever be fixed?

I hope so. My current career is in female weight and I'd hate to change my gear every damn fight. Luckily it's only for female weights and CAF's. It looks seriously ugly, like it doesn't have a texture.
I'm assuming few people try the female weights these days so it doesn't get thàt much exposure, but this just really looks amateurish, like some intern linked to the wrong file...
I bought the game last week and I am also having this problem right now, still no fix ?
Btw this problem does not only occur in female career but also male weight class.
This is not solved. Forcing players to use this takes away the UFC gloves since you do not have that option in Vanity. This is a lazy solution instead of actually fixing the game. Come on.
- @EA_Blueberry me too have this problem...I want to play with ufc clothes, with colors of each nation complete, red, green, blue etc in my female career and too in fight now, as well as select the type of shorts: vale tudo, mua thay etc ... please EA return to the clothing selection option , like they did before in UFC 3 🙂

@Maurivan17 That's a big request from the community and I'll continue to let the team know you're all asking for it. - @EA_Blueberry Thanks for the response and listening to the community ... we just want to enjoy this great game in real simulation to the fullest ... and one of the reasons why I bought the UFC is because of their original kits, their official licenses, just what I loved about UFC 3 was its selection of kit of different colors ... I hope we can see it again ... and again thank you very much for reading me 🙂
Has this been fixed or even addressed??

This appears to be more difficult to reproduce than expected. Is there any way you can show us what your female CAF look like and the settings used on them?
I provided three attachment two showing the solid black, untextured, completely irritating and unrealistic top and the third is the settings I am using. This issue is completely plaguing my career at all times. And I would use the vanity override but with such little options and variations included with zero color options, it’s disappointing. These issues have been mentioned numerous times since the game has been released and it has not been addressed.

How can you not reproduce this? Don't check on your dev version on PC. Buy an xbox one, get the game (mine is digital) and see for yourself. Literaly everyone seems to have this problem, even the ones who just got the game, as evidenced in this thread. So it doesn't have anything to do with overwriting the beta/demo/v1.0.
Just do ANY female career (CaF obviously), start in UFC and fast-forward to fight 1. It should take you 5 minutes to reproduce...
It could be tied to clothing options. I usually equip official UFC gear, but I'm pretty sure I've tried with long sleeves and it still persists. Every weight class... I've switched countries, etc.
But thanks for following up on this, Blueberry.
Any update on this? Im on Xbox and I dont want to have to use Vanity Clothing as the gloves dont have the corner colour on them. Is there any chance we can get the option of selecting your gear before the fights? Cheers.

No update. It's been difficult to find the root cause and I could use some specific examples to send over to the team.
The previous page has posts from people showing what happens and how to reproduce it. It's the same thing that happens to me on PS4.
You just start a career mode in any weight class with a female fighter, skip to UFC, and go into your first fight. You'll see a plain black top that doesn't match the shorts.
[I edited out some rant-y stuff that frankly wasn't going to be helpful to anybody.]

Blueberry, here are some more examples of the issue (including the settings screen). As you can see, menu screen, fighter portraits, all that is fine but in a fight, the asset is all screwy. It’s also fine in sparring. Makes sense what someone said earlier about the asset being attached to the colored glove tape, as that is really the only variable that changes.
I wouldn’t mind the whole vanity override thing if it didn’t cause my opponents to be fighting in T-shirts/singlets and cause my fighter to walk to the ring with no walkout jersey on.
On Xbox One, playing on a digital copy downloaded from the Xbox store during the recent 50% off sale. It hasn’t worked from the start. Shame, because that’s the only reason I don’t want to continue my female CAF career because everything just looks out of place.
Is my original post from August of last year not a clear example?

I’m just trying to provide additional visual evidence that hopefully the mods can use to throw toward the dev team. I’ve been gaming enough to not be particularly optimistic since EA doesn’t make residual income off of CAF, but it’s worth at least a try.
Plus just wanted to throw my hat in the ring to show that this is indeed a cross-platform issue affecting both XB and PS users
So I see that Patch 9 has been released. See no mention of this issue, though I do understand that it may not be high on the list since it is cosmetic and doesn’t mechanically affect game play, though I do see several (cosmetic) animation fixes.
Is this issue with female CAF something that the development team are made aware of, and is this something that they are investigating further? If so; that is “fine”, but if it is not a priority, then I think those involved in this thread would like to know.
- @SlavMick
Yeah, it's extremely frustrating to have patch after patch come out and career mode is never addressed in any of them. If the devs have abandoned the mode to focus on multiplayer, I wish they'd just tell us.
