@pvsa5w3zr2id All one needs to do, is take a page out of what wwe 2k24 did for the 40th anniversary edition concerning a real roster offering.
I honestly have never seen, such a robust and comprehensive homage to the sport a developer is tasked to honor their given industry and sport, as to what 2k did.
This is why, even with the flaws here and there that 2k does have, I simply accept it because they honestly do care about the sport, the offerings of participants, respect to a large majority of our hero’s whether old school or brand new, with this massive plethora of options in customizations to immerse us, the consumer, all tools necessary to facilitate game satisfaction and playability for years to come.
EA, having learned from the NFL franchise how easy it is to screw consumers year after year with the same lazy approach year after year, essentially craps on a plate and tells us its caviar, all served with a smile.
I have not touched my UFC game since basically, my fighter was screwed over by one gem stone short of completing the belt, because he was force retired. A “bug” that from what I see from the supposed updates, still has not been addressed. Basically, 4 total days of play for an 120.00 fully loaded edition and it just sits untouched because it is garbage.
So, compare the monetary value of UFC 5 to wwe2k24 40 year anniversary edition in just roster offerings alone and honestly tell me you could not have the best of old school and new school with UFC5.
My answer would be you could, only if 2k had UFC rites and not these corporate ESG fools at EA. That also goes without saying, the NFL should rightfully be available to all companies like the days of old when competition produced some awesome football games and then….2k came out with an absolute game changer not only for the Dreamcast, but the entire industry.
EA is just a profit machine focused on money and woke garbage. Nothing more to it.
