Game freezing when loading into match
Yo wtf is this I've had to lose like 10 games because, when I match up with someone, right after the character selection the game just freezes. Then it becomes a challenge of who goes back to lobby first to get the win by forfeit when we haven't even started the fight.Twitch-ItzDinggo2 days agoNewcomer19Views0likes0CommentsSparring Partner
Subject: Sparring Partner System in Career Mode is Unrealistic and Needs Improvement Message: I’m currently playing UFC 5 Career Mode and have encountered a major flaw in the sparring partner system. As my fighter progresses and gets stronger, my sparring partners remain at the same low level. This results in them getting injured constantly, which permanently locks me out of training methods and goals that are essential for developing my fighter. In real MMA, a professional fighter would never be stuck training with underqualified sparring partners. If someone can’t keep up, they’re replaced. You train with high-level partners, not amateurs who get knocked out every session. Punishing the player for being too good contradicts both realism and good game design. At the very least, there should be a way to: Replace or upgrade sparring partners Heal or rotate them over time Prevent permanent loss of training content due to unrealistic injuries This mechanic breaks immersion and slows progression unfairly. Please consider reworking this in a future update. Thanks.DarthSeppola3 days agoRising Newcomer18Views0likes0CommentsUFC 6 or UFC 5 Master Wishlist & Career Mode Rework – The Future of MMA Gaming
Dear EA Sports Team / UFC Gaming Community, Hope you're all good. As an old-school UFC game and MMA fan, I've made an extensive wishlist for UFC 6 that outlines features I believe will take the game to the next level. The presentation includes a complete overhaul of gameplay mechanics, new modes of play, and a complete reworking of Career Mode. See it below and consider what's in store for MMA gaming! UFC 6: Complete Wishlist & Career Mode Rework The future begins here. 1. Gameplay & Mechanics Overhaul • Sophisticated Ground Game: • Bring back Grapple Assist or introduce slick transitions. • Add scrambling mini-games, cage wall reversals, and realistic clinch control. • New Submission Options: • Introduce standing guillotine, flying triangle, Suloev stretch, buggy choke. • Damage System: • Realistic cuts, viewable limps, and hand injuries. • Implement doctor stoppages and cumulative trauma (CTE/chin degradation). • Fight IQ AI • AI picks up your style mid-fight. • Corner advice mid-round: "Time that left hook!" or "Sprawl next time!" 2. Game Modes • The Ultimate Fighter (TUF): • Live-in house drama, team rivalries, coach-led training. • Legacy Mode: • Fight through decades (2000s–2020s) against legends such as GSP, Ronda, and more. • Pride rules, bare-knuckle throwbacks, or vale tudo era options. • Event Simulator: • Create your own cards, simulate outcomes, and watch rankings change. • Fight Night Throwback: • A sub-mode that is focused on boxing with legends such as Ali, Tyson, and Canelo. 3. Rework Career Mode – "The Road to Greatness" This is where UFC Career Mode needs the most overhaul. Eliminate or Revamp the Longevity System The current longevity meter is one of the most unrealistic and limiting game mechanics. It artificially creates tension and forces retirement prematurely, ignoring how real fighters slowly decline, remake themselves, or even achieve comeback late careers. Guys such as Glover Teixeira, Randy Couture, and even Robbie Lawler didn't see linear decline—so why must we be robbed of greatness upon filling a bar? • Implement a Wear-and-Tear/Attrition System that logs damage per bout, having an impact on stats in real-time (e.g., slower reflexes, lower durability). • Provide career-altering injuries—a torn ACL might push back fights, or broken hands might diminish striking ability for months. • Let players retire naturally, with narratives and media chatter encouraging retirement when performance starts to decline or opponents catch up. • Amateur Origins: • Choose starting location: college wrestling, Bangkok street Thai boxing, or Rio BJJ academy. • Fight in fantasy versions of PRIDE, EliteXC, WEC, or Strikeforce. • Build fanbases, rivalries, and hype before arriving at the UFC. • Evolving Fighter System: • Learn new skills through usage and sparring. • Watch your fighter age with time—brawlers age more quickly than technicians. • Rivalries & Relationships: • Engage in trash talk via social media, press conferences, and in-game cutscenes. • Friends and foes will affect matchmaking and gym politics. • Lifestyle Mode: • Control equipment, tattoos, nutritionists, agents, sponsorships, and even retire early due to injuries. 4. Online Enhancements • Online Career Path: • Start in online amateur leagues, build a team (gym), win belts live. • Interactive online trash talk, hype feeds, and gym rivalries. • Ranked Mode Evolution: • Weight-class-based matchmaking. • Risk-reward match bonuses—XP, gloves, or highlight reel slots. • Camp Mode: • Online teams, shared gyms, in-game belts, and sparring sessions. 5. Presentation & Immersion • Commentary Variety: • Switch commentators: Rogan & DC, Anik & Bisping, or international commentary teams. • Fight Week Features: • Live weigh-ins, tense staredowns, media scrums. • Custom Walkouts: • Choose national flags, special chants ("Diaz! Diaz!"), and custom music. • Real Cornermen: • Real coaches like Trevor Wittman & Eugene Bareman. • Mid-fight impact (boost regen, new game plan). 6. Fighter Creation & Customization • More Create-a-Fighter: • Add aging, scars, broken noses, eye injuries, and tattoos. • Personalize walkout routines, callouts, and post-fight reactions. • Style Identity Presets: • Choose from archetypes like "Dagestani Wrestler," "Muay Thai Pressure Fighter," or "BJJ Counter Artist." • Chemistry System: • Relationships with coaches matter—some fighters excel, others find themselves trapped in specific camps. 7. Bonus Features • Rule Sets & Environments: • PRIDE rules, ONE rules, bare-knuckle, and custom cage settings. • Crossover Fighters: • Bring in stars from other combat sports, like Tyson Fury, Canelo, Gordon Ryan, Tenshin Nasukawa, and Buakaw Banchamek. • Universe Mode (Franchise-Style): •Create your own MMA promotion—sign fighters, market events, replicate rankings and rivalries over time. Thanks so much for taking the time to read over this wishlist. I am confident that these additions will make UFC 6 the ideal MMA gaming experience, reproducing the thrill, theatrics, and sophistication of the sport. Let's bring the future of MMA gaming into being! Looking forward to getting your comments and hopefully some of these ideas seeing the light. Can we please make the career mode difficulty harder like its child's play its to easy. Surely we have advanced enough to make it harder. And also can we add a option to stop doctor stoppages like fights are over before round 4 because the iv opened up a cut on the opponent its just lack luster specifically in a good scrap.uchimaki14 days agoNewcomer21Views0likes0CommentsAdd Matt Schnell to UFC 5 please
I have trained with Matt multiple times when I was younger and I know he’s had a rough start but he’d be a good addition to fly weight because there’s already lack in the game. If matt schnell was added to flyweight in ufc 5 id probably use him every time just because i know him and maybe other people would too8Views0likes0Comments- Kezy-reinstall4 days agoNewcomer17Views0likes2Comments
UFC 6 – Additional Thoughts (Highly detailed) from a hardcore fan
While this post is a bit long and detailed, I hope this (as well as some of my previous posts and feedback) can make it to the hard working team behind the next installment of EA Sports UFC for us fans. Thank you Devs. Firstly, Full set of deep meaningful tutorials: Please don’t make the whole game overly simplified only to cater to new players. Instead, give us dedicated, in-depth tutorials for striking, grappling, clinch, transitions, denials, submissions, etc., and a robust practice mode. Please don’t lock tutorials behind Career Mode. That makes no sense. Bring back the skill challenges from UFC 3. Timed drills, challenges, etc., and “pro tips.” That’s how people really learn the game. Not watching a cutscene and doing one forced combo. Make it engaging and rewarding to train outside of career, and for new and experienced players to sharpen their skills. Teach basics of MMA. Fighter Perks Need to Matter And We Need More of Them: UFC 3 had perks that actually changed your playstyle depending on who you picked or how you created your CAF. Some examples: Negative Reinforcement (Levels 1–5): Delayed the opponent’s stamina regen by 12% after defending a takedown. Game Changer (Level 3): Dropped the opponent’s chin rating by -3 after a clean knockdown. Wrestle Clinic, Fluidity, El Guapo, Heavy Hands, Ground and Pound, Crushing Presence & more. These perks meant something and had an impact on the opponent when used accordingly. They made you fight a certain way. They weren’t just background numbers, they were part of your strategy. We also had perk levels that indicated how proficient a fighter was in a skill. Another small detail that’s now missing. In the current game, perks feel like filler. And they are. They don’t change anything noticeably (except for maybe a couple perks) and don’t really encourage adapting your gameplay. Bring back the old system or evolve it in a way that builds off what UFC 3 had. That game nailed it. Organic Strike Animations: Every punch or kick should have slight variation. In real life, no two jabs are ever 100% the same. Let fatigue, angle, and rhythm affect how strikes look. Not asking for a full physics engine, but just enough variation to stop combos from looking predictable and identical every single time. Rework Head Movement Mechanics: The most used counter in the game is still the same unrealistic lean back uppercut or hook. It’s been the go-to for years and it feels stale. Revamp the sway system to feel more dynamic and natural. Movement should have momentum and rhythm, not just a snapback with a perfectly timed nuke. Add dynamic sway that’s perhaps momentum-based. Let head movement be contextual and punish predictable use. Remap Controls + Simplify Inputs: Some of the advanced strike inputs right now are too much. Pressing two buttons and a third input to throw a spinning strike? Room for error and not technical. A gamble to some degree that can cost you. Like spinning back fists and spinning elbows are basically useless right now, they almost always miss. Meanwhile, spinning head kicks and body kicks land like they’re homing missiles. Clean that up and make it more balanced and intuitive. I also feel like the holding mechanic is a bit weird but not entirely bad. Example: holding for overhand punch or power takedown/slam. Fix the Lead Collar Tie Mechanic: You guys should just remove this altogether. No one should be able to repeatedly grab a lead collar whenever they want just to automatically get thrown out of it. That’s not realistic and it’s one of the biggest issues in the game. People use it to spam and get out of bad situations. Make clinch entries more timing and range based. In real UFC fights, you don’t see guys constantly slipping into collar ties every five seconds mid exchange. Clinch should be as dominant as the ground game with potential to do big damage. Think Kamaru Usman vs Tyron Woodley or more recently, Bo Nickal vs RDR. The option should be there if that’s someone’s strategy. Let Us Fully Control HUD Settings: We should be able to turn off or edit any part of the HUD in any game mode. Ranked, quick fight, or offline. Also, in ranked, the opponent should NOT be able to see your stamina bar or the grapple advantage meter. That’s private info. It gives away too much and takes away from the realism and skill required to read your opponent. Stronger Haptics + Camera Feedback: Ground and pound, clinch strikes, body shots, etc. we should feel them. Haptics need to be more intense and satisfying like they were in UFC 3. A clean overhand or a flush body kick should feel heavy, not just look good. And while PS5’s DualSense gets all the love, Xbox players should have just as immersive of an experience. Please make sure the vibrations and feedback are tuned properly for Xbox controllers too. A bit of camera shake and vibration goes a long way. Every strike should have weight and power that varies based on accuracy, stamina, and damage. Alter Ego Fighters (Love that you guys introduced this) However It Needs More Substance: The idea is great, no doubt but the implementation is a bit mid. Right now it’s just a new skin with slightly boosted stats and a different stance if any. Each alter ego should have a genuine identity: movement patterns, signature combos, AI behavior, unique intros, taunts, etc. Prime Anderson and Late-Career Anderson shouldn’t just have different speeds… they should FEEL like different fighters. Even if subtly to reflect their actual “ego” at the time. Clean Up the Quick Fight Menu and In General: There’s “Main Event,” “Championship,” “Main Card,” etc., and a bunch of tabs and things you can flip through but they all basically feel like the same thing. Don’t just rebrand the same match format under different titles as if there’s a huge difference between them. Championship fights should have in-ring face-offs. Shorts Need to Feel and Look Like Shorts: I know a lot of players have talked about this. Here’s my input: The shorts are the least of my worries but they are stiff and almost look glued onto the fighter models. You can see the waist thickness just sitting awkwardly on top. Add movement to them, let them ripple, stretch, and respond to movement. Also please add Muay Thai-cut shorts like Jon Jones wears/open side slits, more real life variation. Little detail, but huge for immersion. And of course, blood on shorts like many players have requested. It brings to mind that the hue or vibrancy of the game right now is quite high. Lighting should be different for different venues and the like. Shorts and overall color should be only slightly muted or heightened depending on venue, etc… hope you get it. Honestly… UFC 3 Should Be a Case Study I get that a lot changed behind the scenes—new team, new director, new engine maybe. But it shows. UFC 3 just made sense across the board: Balanced striking Technical grappling Perk system that actually mattered Skill gap that rewarded learning Clean UI Tons of small features that added up This isn’t hate it’s just honest feedback. UFC 4 and 5 felt like they took steps away from what made UFC 3 great. If you’ve made it this far, I sincerely thank you for taking the time to read this. Please check my earlier posts too. Some key details may have been left out here. I appreciate everyone working hard on UFC 6 and genuinely hope these ideas help push the game forward. Thanks again.48Views0likes0CommentsPS5 Red Corner DNF Exploit

In my stats it says i have won by submisions 137 Times but i know for a fact the real nr is 2. And im pretty sure double xp dont work sometimes. As a die hard UFC fan and longtime player of the EA UFC franchise, here’s some feedback to help truly evolve the next installment into the most immersive MMA experience yet. UFC 5 had some good steps forward, but there’s still room for major polish and innovation. Fighter Select Lock-In Once a fighter is locked in, it should stay locked. Currently, if your opponent scrolls through their roster, it unlocks your selection that’s frustrating and unnecessary. ** fighter select menu should be different on ranked so that opponent doesn’t know which fighter you choose and vice versa Ranked Improvements Able to choose weight class. Quitting gives the opponent a lock out timer and gives you extra points or something. incentivize playing ranked for exclusive rewards also add progress bar for badges. For example if I wanted unlock the 1,000 submissions badge I should know how many more I need in order to unlock it. Quick Fight Improvements Players seem to feel intimidated when they see a rank 20 badge or 99 overall level and leave before the match even starts. Incorporate something in which these can only be seen after the match. Also punish players for quitting early during game. Maybe introduce a “throw in the towel” option and create a badge or player card which reflects how many players you’ve made throw in the towel lol. Visual Realism Fighter tattoos in UFC 5 are way too dark and bold. In real life, they often appear more faded and worn-in. Reduce opacity for a more authentic look. Skin tones, sweat, and damage should feel organic. Swelling and cuts should build progressively and realistically. Unique Fighter Builds & Animations Fighters shouldn’t all share the same body model or posture. Jon Jones should move like Jon Jones. Khabib’s wrestling stance and pressure style should feel different from Gaethje’s bouncy, forward movement. Add signature movements, taunts, and idle stances. Octagon Environment The Octagon looks identical every fight. In real life, we get new sponsors, logos, and even lighting differences based on event and location. Replicate that. Venues should feel different: Apex should feel smaller and tighter than MSG or T-Mobile. Crowd noise, lighting, and energy should reflect that. ** Add more camera styles and angles.. through settings Movement & Physics Fighters need real weight. Footwork should feel deliberate every step should have weight, balance, and risk. We need better transitional animations: momentum based movement, off-balance recoveries, and realistic cage interactions. Sound Design Improve the variety and realism of strike sounds. Right now, leg kicks triggering health events sound like cartoon bone snaps lol use authentic fight audio as reference. Punches, slams, mat noise, corner advice it all matters. Add crowd reactions to momentum shifts and near finishes to keep the game fresh Grappling & Clinch Control Bring back full control of every position like in UFC 3 especially in clinch and ground. No auto breaks or time-outs from dominant positions! Grappling should be its own art form! Give us tools, not shortcuts Add the body triangle! And “Dagestani handcuff” position. Grappling cage side should be different than grappling out in the open. Scoring System Overhaul Winning shouldn’t just be KO or submission. Reward octagon control, takedown defense, clinch pressure, strike accuracy, ground control, and cage clinch control time. Judges should score fights based on a realistic breakdown similar to real judging criteria. Fighter Ratings Ditch the “star” system. It feels like an arcade game. Go back to detailed stats (e.g. striking, grappling, stamina, chin, etc.). Let players understand fighter strengths and weaknesses at a glance. Practice Mode Improvements Add live video demonstrations for every move and combo in the practice mode. Don’t make players guess what the animation looks like or how to chain combos. Damage System & Fight Dynamics Clean well timed shots should be fight changing. Let a counter elbow turn the tide. Momentum swings make for exciting gameplay. Consider a mini-game or skill check during stuns/wobbles to determine whether a fighter stays standing, clinches up, or gets dropped. UI & Menus Simplify and modernize the UI. Clean fonts, minimal clutter, sleek design let the content shine Commentary & Presentation Commentary needs more depth and variety. Let’s get multiple commentary teams (Rogan/DC, Anik/Bisping, Fitzgerald/Felder) and more dynamic reactions. Let presentation change based on card tier: Fight Night vs PPV vs Title Fight with matching commentary energy, overlays, and walkout vibes. Gameplay Tips & Learning Tools In-game tips should be contextual and useful not just reminders to “press X to punch.” Educate players on deeper mechanics and strategy. We want to hop on the game after watching a real UFC event and feel that same energy. Whether we’re climbing through Career Mode or grinding in Online Championships, it should replicate the beauty and brutality of real MMA. Thanks!Hoppley110 days agoRising Rookie48Views1like0CommentsCurrent State
The game is at an all-time low. Servers and connections are shockingly bad. People exploiting the frozen screen glitch to rise up leader boards with no repercussions are everywhere. If I'm in the red corner and they bail, I'm timed out? Wow. Nice touch. Apparently super low numbers of players online: Do I really have to be matched up with some dude from France at 200 ping 3 out of 5 fights? And that's if I'm lucky to get 5 fights in one hour. Is it that bad over there? Are you OK?GlassJoeGOAT11 days agoSeasoned Rookie28Views0likes0CommentsPut hours in
I’ve put countless hours and money into each of the EA UFC games for 1-5 and it’s like a downgrade every game ufc has to be the all time worst waste of time and just rage bait you can play beginner-hard sometimes pro and legendary depending the contract (usually just stand and bang)and the fighter but it’s not even like that matters I have countless rematch’s against legendary and pro bots and just get mauled on the ground to where my stamina is a pinch in round 2 no possible movement still I pull off the rocks of a lifetime and fight for my life just to either get mauled to decision and never be able to get off my back of get destroyed by some type of spam body to head or ground and pound but it’s just the most annoying thing imo to waste fr 25 mins of your real like bc the game is so trash and you literally do everything possible and can’t get off you back and just lose every bit of stamina but the bot will have a full bar in round 5krjs6td84jlx11 days agoRising Newcomer26Views0likes0Comments
