You have done something wrong getting drivers.  ONLY get them from AMD itself, and you can get R9 370s really cheap right now if you shop around at the Overstocks outlets,  They are about two years old already, and the retailers have cleared them out to sell RXes.

You'l have to sort things out with AMD.  As far as I was aware, all of the R5s, R7s, and R9s all had new drivers righ up through last week or the week before!  (No idea about R3s).

If I get time, I may see what happens when I try comparing the Radeon R7 250X with your R9 255; using GPU Boss, maybe they have mixed the one you have with something else.  No, sorry!  Both GPU Boss and Passmark have rated your card significantly lower in performance than even the 250X (a card not supported for this game).
