A button or a port on your wireless controller partially works or doesn’t work at all
If you have another Xbox One Wireless Controller, use it to reproduce what you were trying to do with the original controller.
- If you experience the same problem using the second wireless controller, the problem is probably with the app or game you’re using. Consult the troubleshooting information for that app or game.
- If you don’t experience the same problem using the second wireless controller, then you should replace your current controller. To order a replacement, go to the Xbox Online Service Centre.

It's all cool for me tho coz I'm just doing the EA Access trial so now know not to buy it for XB1.
Did you update your XB1 controller? You have to do this or it will mess it up for some reason.

How many CAF slots do you have filled? I am hearing that 18 or more (I think) is messing with the game.
- High, guys I don't know if you have fixed you issues but I solved mine and was nothing to do with the game or my x1......This fault is happening because your controller's are the old one's (day ones) I went out and brought a new 1 which looks different underneath to my other old 1(not an elite pad btw) and when I went to play ufc it was perfect and been winning fighting and losing fairly ever since lol hope this helps as it's definitely the cause for me I should of told u guys stright away but forgot soz

I'm having the same issue and I have an elite controller. I just ordered a new non-elite controller so I guess I'll see if that works. What sucks is that I really shouldn't have to buy new hardware to fix a game that worked just fine when I bought it. :/

Could both of you confirm the exact controller (name and platform) that didn't work, and the ones that did work?
I recently bought an XBox Elite and the Elite controller that came with it worked at first when I bought the game but then suddenly stopped working for no reason I could detect. The controller works fine with all my other games and always has. A few weeks later, I accidentally discovered that pressing the right thumbstick resets the buttons but only temporarily. You have to keep pushing it periodically to keep the buttons working, and if you push it at the wrong time it can actually prevent the buttons from working. Needless to say, when the punches and kicks are flying this can prove to be a quick ticket to a loss.
Interestingly, I ordered a regular non-elite controller which arrived today. When I used it to play earlier it worked perfectly, just as intended. Given the evidence, I suspect some kind of software update bug in either the controller or the game itself, but I have no idea which.

Hello guys I have the same problem.
So I have 2 controllers. One older version without the 3.5mm input and the 2nd with the 3.5mm input.
My problem is with the oldest controller ( without 3.5 mm). Problem like you UFC2. PLUS some other problems with NHL16 my left analog is not functioning.
When I use newest controller I have 0 problems.
What i realized that the version of the firmware are not the same. The old controller's firmware is 2.3.2381.0 vs the new : 2.3.2385.0.
Is this the Problem ??
Please I would love to hear from you because we need to fix this.

Can you see if resetting the controller by pressing the recessed button with a paperclip for a few seconds and then re-pairing with the console has an effect please?
