Re: I can’t add a friend on apex through cross play please help

HI, I am having a similar problem where my friend who is on a different EA account can send a request that i dont recieve, and i cant find him. I have made sure that the settings in game are right so that crossplay is enabled and i should be able to add him but i cannot. It seems like this has been a problem for a while as i find people with the same issue in october. I cannot find a solution to this anywhere. Any suggestions?

Which platform are you playing on? Do you know if either you or your friend are using a child account?

I am on steam, he is on xbox. neither are using a child account

Just to confirm, have you been able to try unfriending and adding each other again as friends to see if that helps? I've seen some cases where that can do the trick.

I’m having an issue where my friend and I can’t even add each other in the first place we checked and both have cross play on. We have separate ea accounts and we even went into our ea settings and made sure we didn’t have any privacy settings equipped

Hi there I also need help, I am on ps4 and I am trying to add my friend on Xbox but I can’t find him when I search and he can’t find me it just says ‘ can’t find user’ we have both got cross platform on the game settings as well as ea account settings, we have tried everything but still nothing. Could you reply to me as soon as possible please as we have a tournament coming up and need to praCtice together thankyou
