I don't want to be that guy, but here goes: They're all trash in this game. Coming from a day-one player with 20k+ matches, I still haven't found a weapon in this game that actually works as advertised. Every single gun in Apex is built around a flaw, some around multiple flaws. When two players meet in combat, one of them will have the flaw that leaves him dead in that particular situation. The situation could be range, reload time, recoil, or any one of a dozen other factors. It's rock/scissors/paper and no matter what gun you pick up, the other guy has the one that will beat you. And he has an aimbot. And his teammates are standing right next to him shooting at you as well. And go ahead and do as much firing range as you want. Weapons in capativity do not behave like weapons in the field. Not even close.
Maybe the new, season 16 firing range will be the improvement we've needed since the game launched, but my hunch is that the range will still be mostly useless.
Oh, and I forgot to mention that it doesn't matter which weapon you invest time and effort in, because Respawn will immediately buff or nerf or change some critical characteristic in the next update. Some players love the changes because it gives them something new to learn. Personally, the inconsistency infuriates me.
