Re: Game Won't Install from Disk (PC)

I just fixed mine. Go to x86 program files/ origin games>_Installer file>direct x file. Make a new folder. DO NOT NAME FOLDER, just leave it as new folder. Then go into redist file, and all the .rar (WinRAR) files over to that folder except: DSETUP.dll, dsetup32.dll, DXSETUP. Restart your installation. This worked on Windows 7 Pro 64 bit.

I've wasted 6 hours of my life trying to figure this out. Like a few other people I've noticed here my install will get to 99%, drop back to 20%, and then I get the error message that there was a problem with directx. The online support team gave me a bunch of useless tips but at least when the call back option is available tomorrow I might get somewhere. Even when I try to update DirectX using the links, tips, and files they gave me fail.
