“Test Your Mettle” Achievement Now Unobtainable – Please Consider a Fix
Hi EA team, I’m reaching out regarding the “Test Your Mettle” achievement in Battlefield Hardline. Since the official servers have been shut down, this achievement has become unobtainable, as it relies on online features no longer accessible. Many completionists and fans of the Battlefield series are disappointed, as this prevents 100% completion of the game. I kindly ask that you consider issuing a fix or workaround for this achievement, such as unlocking it automatically or adjusting the criteria so it can be completed another way. Battlefield Hardline still holds a place in many players' hearts, and addressing this issue would mean a lot to the community. Thank you for your time and consideration. Best regards1.5KViews29likes25CommentsBattlescreen stop working and Couldn't connet to Battlelog in-game.
This problem started two days ago. Everything was working fine before that. Have other Battlescreen users encountered this issue? Or has EA disabled Battlescreen? I've tried all browsers and reinstalled all software, including a clean install of Windows—but the problem persists. So it shouldn't be my issue. Additionally, I can't join servers that require a password through Battlelog because the password input box doesn't appear. It jumps directly to the server joining process and then displays "Unable to join server: wrong password." EA/DICE please fix the above issues.289Views1like16CommentsWeekly weapons Scrap Exchange updates
I have calculated the theoretical amout of scraps you would need if every item would appear in the weekly exchange and you could buy it that way. Amount of scraps needed by category and total: 10.000 x 17 = 170.000 2.000 x 195 = 390.000 800 x 262 = 209.600 300 x 372 = 111.600 TOTAL x 846 = 881.200 Puzzles are NOT taken into account here! Meaning the number would be higher still. But since you tend to get all pieces over time with the OP Battlepacks I excluded them from here. At least without the special rare melee weapons which are otherwise unobtainable like the Ararebo, Coupe Coupe, Arditi Dagger(still unobtainable, has never been seen in the exchange) and Barbed Wire Bat If we assume the average loot per day looks like this we roughly get 1k scraps every day 30+90+270 & 90+270+270 = 1020/day Now that we have the total amount of scraps needed and a rough estimate on the average loot based on personal experience from over 1 year of daily grinding we can calculate how many days of grinding we need to earn the necessary scraps to be able to buy every skin in the game which looks like this: 881.200/1020 = 863.922 days This accumulates to this timeframe of DAILY grinding needed to earn every skin in the game: 2 years 4 months ~2 weeks (11 days) Again, this is assuming all skins where available in the exchange which is far from the case making the situation even worse. This timeframe is unacceptable for a AAA game you paid over 100€ for at release, me included. Some free2play games involve less grinding than this just to earn some textures. I understand that there was monetary incentive behind making the game intentionally grindy (though I still find this practice to be in a AAA game unacceptable by principle) to boost Battlepack sales. But this game is almost 8 years old now and I really doubt you're making anywhere close to the amount of money compared to the release period. Meaning there is no more incentive to make this game intentionally grindy anymore. My suggestion would be to either remove the daily limit of Operation Battlepacks, increase the limit from 2 to something like 4 or 5 per day or have them drop 2 or 3 crates instead of 1 at a time. Unlike currently this is much more respectful of the players time. Money is one thing but to disrespect the players time to this extent when we know that everyones time is limited both in daily terms and total just so you get some textures is ridiculous. Due to the age of the game please reconsider the current way of earning scraps to make it more tolerable. I've come too far to give up now but most people don't have this patience. Me included (for future or other games) since this will be the last game I'll grind this much for. If the next Battlefield turns out to be this grindy I'll really think twice before buying something which doesn't respect anyones time. Thanks in advance, hope to see some changes to this system!eduonkhl8 hours agoRising Vanguard58KViews28likes4219CommentsBATTLEFIELD 4 SCREEN FREEZES MID-GAME
This is really annoying. I bought BF4 during the spring sale, but ever since I started playing, the screen freezes mid-game, or it freezes right after one game ends and the next one starts, or sometimes after about 12 minutes when joining a server. The worst part is that it doesn't save any of my progress, leveling up, or unlocked accessories. I've looked for solutions everywhere. - I've already updated my Nvidia GPU drivers, reinstalled and added the game to PunkBuster, deleted the Battlefield 4 folder in Documents, repaired the game and all its add-ons, and completely reinstalled the game and add-ons. I've enabled administrator privileges, disabled all available overlays from the EA app and MSI Afterburner (although I tried without using MSI Afterburner and it still freezes), tried launching the game in a browser and in the game itself, and it freezes sooner or later in both. I've also enabled Windows Firewall and used Windows repair commands like sfc. I've tried running `/scannown` or `DISM` and nothing works. It's gotten so bad that I'm thinking of quitting this game altogether. I've never had a similar error in any other game. I have Battlefield 3 and it works perfectly. Anyway, if anyone has a solution, I'd be eternally grateful. 🙏 Edit: In case you're wondering, it's not overheating and the FPS is very low, and the problem persists.REZ7siete20 hours agoNew Novice160Views0likes7CommentsHardline Connection problem
Dear EA Support, I am contacting you regarding a persistent issue with Battlefield Hardline on PlayStation Network that continues to occur despite having already completed all standard troubleshooting steps. My PSN account is able to access online multiplayer services in other EA titles (including Battlefield 6, Battlefield 4, and NFS Heat) without any issues. However, it is completely unable to connect to the multiplayer servers of Battlefield Hardline. This clearly indicates that the problem is specific to this title. I have already carried out the following steps, all without any success: Restarting the console Verifying the internet connection Signing out and back into PSN Restarting the game I continue to receive a connection error, or the game fails to establish any connection to the multiplayer servers. Given the above, I expect a direct investigation on your end. Please specifically verify: The current status of Battlefield Hardline multiplayer servers Any potential issues or restrictions related to my EA account The integrity of the link between my EA account and PSN I would appreciate a clear and complete response, avoiding generic suggestions or steps already attempted, and specifying whether this is a known issue or related to service availability. I look forward to your response. Kind regards, Anwar98Views2likes1CommentQR code BF4

Hi everyone, I’m having a weird issue with Battlefield 1 and I’m hoping someone here has a solution. I’m playing the Steam version on Windows 11 Pro (25H2). When I press Play in Steam, the EA app opens like normal, but then I get this message: “An error on our end caused the launch to fail. Try again a little later.” The game itself never opens. Steam shows it as running for a few seconds, then it just stops. The strange part is that BF1 was working fine earlier on 10 April. I played through the campaign. Later that same day, I was going to play with a friend, and from that point on the game refused to launch. Things I’ve already tried: - Restarting my PC - Verifying/repairing the game files - Reinstalling the game - Logging out of and back into the EA app - Clearing the EA app cache - Checking my internet connection - Updating drivers/system software - Doing a clean boot based on the EA troubleshooting steps - Deleting and reinstalling the anti-cheat I’ve also looked around online and tried the solutions I could find, but none of them have helped. None of that made any difference. A few extra details: - I don’t get any extra error code, only that message - Battlefield 4, which I also launch through Steam -> EA app, still works fine - My friend can launch and play BF1 without any problems - I’m in the EU region So right now this seems to be affecting only BF1. If anyone has run into this before or knows anything else I can try, I’d really appreciate it. Thanks.SolvedSwift_Delivery123 days agoSeasoned Newcomer61Views0likes1CommentI can't get Hardline DLC to work anymore
I own all the BF Hardline DLC - I purchased the Premium Edition back in 2015. I haven't played for about 6 months - and just reinstalled the game. The problem is - one of the DLC (Robbery) is showing as not owned. I definitely own it and cannot join the only PC server that is populated without it being installed. I have tried to use EA help to connect to a human to resolve this problem -But I can't get past the BOT. Separate Jump and Vault keybinds would be a great QoL improvement for Battlefield 1. I already made a post about this, but it wasn’t a suggestion thread, it was just asking whether those keys could be bound somewhere in a config file, so I decided to open a new discussion. Right now, one of the most frustrating movement issues in BF1 is that jump and vault are tied together. In a lot of situations, especially around windows, low walls, trench edges, rubble, and other cover, pressing Space does not just make you stand up or jump. It can force you into a vault or climb animation instead. That is a problem because once the vault starts, youre often fully committed to the animation. You can get pulled over cover, pushed onto higher ground, or even thrown out of a window when all you really wanted to do was stand up from crouch or make a small reposition. That can instantly expose you to enemies and ruin your position. A simple fix would be to add separate binds like: - Jump/Vault - Jump Only - Vault Only This kind of split keybind setup has already become pretty standard in modern FPS games, and it would fit naturally in BF1 as a basic control option. That way, players who like the current system could keep it exactly as it is, while players who want more control could split the actions. I also hope it doesnt start to feel like once a new Battlefield is out, older titles are no longer worth improving with small bug fixes, control updates, and quality of life changes. A lot of players still actively play these games. On Steam alone, Battlefield 1 peaked at 21,664 players in March 2026, and Battlefield V peaked at 18,557 in the same month, which shows there is still a very real audience for continued technical polish and small gameplay improvements in older Battlefield titles. I think this would be a small change, but a really good one for movement consistency. What do you all think? Do you run into this issue too? Would you actually use separate Jump Only and Vault Only binds if BF1 had them?Flookad3 days agoRising Rookie46Views0likes1CommentBattlefield 4 emblems has stopped working for everyone on PC
A couple of weeks ago i noticed the emblem stopped showing ingame. It worked for some people but now it wont work for anyone. We have discussed this together on the servers and on discord and reddit, so its not only for me. Its for everyone. I have tried several differnt combinations of deleting and creating emblems from both the battlelogg and the companion app website. Strangely the emblem still show up in BF1. The clan/platoon tag still works. but only if you create it in battlelog. Via the companion app it wont show up ingame. I would love to have my pikatchu emblem back and seeing others creative emblems makes the game more fun!mutherimorso5553 days agoSeasoned Rookie563Views6likes18CommentsWhy is EA not really actively fighting cheaters?
Cheats for entire EA product selection are again fully easily available with the simplest search. Question: What in the is stopping EA from reverse engineering this game-genre's ruining software to make effective anti-cheat? I just do not get why EA allows their entire battlefield game series go to sh** due to cheaters. Surely this must be hurting EA's sales and thus profits? Question: What business profit is there for EA for not (really) addressing the cheating issue's?SolvedBluebird2874 days agoNew Adventurer249Views1like7CommentsBattlefield 4 - Swimming Bug Resolved
Swimming bug resolved Hello fellow Battlefield 4 players. I feel your pain. I too ran into a problem swimming while under water during the SOUTH CHINA SEA campaign. Scenario: You are tasked with finding a sinking ship’s hard drive, to see what may have happened. You pull a small boat into a hole in the hull of the ship. There you make your way to the hard drive. Along the way you need to go through a lower deck, which is beneath water. To do so, you must swim underwater and navigate to the appropriate location. Problem: You start to swim and then get stuck. If you stop your forward progression, you are pushed backwards. This sequence adds nothing for your gaming experience. It only build hostility and frustration. I do not know why game developers even bother with such nonsense. The only reason I can think of is to make the game a bit more eerie, because you swim past floating corpses. Resolution: Some people suggested pausing and then resuming the game. This will only get you so far. I found that you have to assign and use your look up, look down, look right, and look left key-binds. Don’t turn to the left, look towards your left, etc. After I did this, I was able to conquer the challenge in about 10 minutes and continue the game. Hi everyone, I’ve been trying to get Battlefield 3’s campaign working for weeks now and I’m stuck. My soldier “Riskybullets” shows up on Battlelog, and I’ve confirmed I own the game. But when I try to launch it, I get: “Could not activate Battlefield 3” “You are signed in as: [blank]” Here’s what I’ve tried so far: Revo Uninstaller for a full clean uninstall (EA App, BF3, leftover folders) Reinstalled everything fresh BF3_License_Fixer and Venice Unleashed Launching via EA App and directly through bf3.exe Manually removed the license key Edited the registry via regedit to clear out old license data Still no luck. I only want to play the single-player campaign, but I can’t get past this license issue. Hello, I’ve been unable to join any Battlefield 3 multiplayer servers for several days now. This started after a sudden disconnect during a match. Since then, I always get stuck at "Joining Server" and then returned to the browser with an error. I’ve tried every possible fix including: – Resetting network (flushdns, winsock, TCP/IP) – Deleting .dlf license files – Clearing BF3 config files from Documents – Reinstalling EA App and BF3 – Running everything as admin – Using Firefox instead of Chrome – Even clean reinstalling Windows But nothing worked. The strange part: Battlelog still shows my account as “in-game” when I’m not, which seems like a stuck session or broken token on EA’s side. I’ve contacted EA Support and was told this will be reported as a bug. If anyone has had the same issue, please upvote or share your experience here. I just got a new 1440p monitor and wanted to see what battlefield looks like. Now whenever I try to boot into Battlefield 1 it kicks me off of my internet. I'll load into BF1 and get into a server; then, after playing for a minute or two I will completely lose access to my wireless internet connection. It's so bad that when when trying to view wireless LAN in my network connections in control panel, the wireless option has completely disappeared. I've tried every common solution online and have gotten nowhere. The only thing I can think of is that changing the game resolution has somehow caused this to happen. Has anyone solved this issue?SolvedVenturiak7 days agoRising Novice2.1KViews2likes19Comments
