Weekly weapons Scrap Exchange updates
I have calculated the theoretical amout of scraps you would need if every item would appear in the weekly exchange and you could buy it that way. Amount of scraps needed by category and total: 10.000 x 17 = 170.000 2.000 x 195 = 390.000 800 x 262 = 209.600 300 x 372 = 111.600 TOTAL x 846 = 881.200 Puzzles are NOT taken into account here! Meaning the number would be higher still. But since you tend to get all pieces over time with the OP Battlepacks I excluded them from here. At least without the special rare melee weapons which are otherwise unobtainable like the Ararebo, Coupe Coupe, Arditi Dagger(still unobtainable, has never been seen in the exchange) and Barbed Wire Bat If we assume the average loot per day looks like this we roughly get 1k scraps every day 30+90+270 & 90+270+270 = 1020/day Now that we have the total amount of scraps needed and a rough estimate on the average loot based on personal experience from over 1 year of daily grinding we can calculate how many days of grinding we need to earn the necessary scraps to be able to buy every skin in the game which looks like this: 881.200/1020 = 863.922 days This accumulates to this timeframe of DAILY grinding needed to earn every skin in the game: 2 years 4 months ~2 weeks (11 days) Again, this is assuming all skins where available in the exchange which is far from the case making the situation even worse. This timeframe is unacceptable for a AAA game you paid over 100€ for at release, me included. Some free2play games involve less grinding than this just to earn some textures. I understand that there was monetary incentive behind making the game intentionally grindy (though I still find this practice to be in a AAA game unacceptable by principle) to boost Battlepack sales. But this game is almost 8 years old now and I really doubt you're making anywhere close to the amount of money compared to the release period. Meaning there is no more incentive to make this game intentionally grindy anymore. My suggestion would be to either remove the daily limit of Operation Battlepacks, increase the limit from 2 to something like 4 or 5 per day or have them drop 2 or 3 crates instead of 1 at a time. Unlike currently this is much more respectful of the players time. Money is one thing but to disrespect the players time to this extent when we know that everyones time is limited both in daily terms and total just so you get some textures is ridiculous. Due to the age of the game please reconsider the current way of earning scraps to make it more tolerable. I've come too far to give up now but most people don't have this patience. Me included (for future or other games) since this will be the last game I'll grind this much for. If the next Battlefield turns out to be this grindy I'll really think twice before buying something which doesn't respect anyones time. Thanks in advance, hope to see some changes to this system!eduonkhl26 minutes agoRising Vanguard87KViews35likes4492CommentsBF3 download issues

I bought Battlefield 3 Premium Edition on Steam. And cannot join or play on servers featuring expansion pack maps and receive the error 'Game disconnected: You are missing content from the game.' I confirmed expansions appear installed. Steam file verification, running Steam and EA app as administrator, reinstalling the EA app, and clearing the EA app cache did not fix the issue. I requested a support representative and confirmed Battlefield 3 on PC for missing expansion/DLC content access.16Views0likes1CommentBF3 HELP

On July 16th, my BF1 game account was banned. As an Asian player, I rely on a UU accelerator to play the game normally, yet they suspect me of cheating and attacking EA's servers. Meanwhile, the real attackers targeting Asian servers are completely ignored. I've appealed three times before—all unsuccessful—and now my fourth appeal has also failed. EA's arrogance toward players and its neglect of long-standing games have left me furious and helpless. I can't do anything about it; I don't even know how to continue writing. EA has silenced me completely.Pfirsichs2 days agoNew Novice39Views1like1CommentRaising the Bar: A Year of Progress for EA Javelin Anticheat
EA Javelin Anticheat 2026 Update Since launching EA Javelin Anticheat in September 2022, we've continued to raise the bar for PC game security. This past year marked significant expansion and refinement as we worked to protect more players, improve performance, and took our enforcement efforts beyond the game client. The Last Year, By The Numbers Since our last report, we've expanded our reach and pushed EA Javelin Anticheat to operate at a much larger scale. Here's a look at what it took to defend our player base over the past year: 20 titles now protected 57.1 million players safeguarded across our ecosystem 26.7 million cheat attempts prevented 99%+ accuracy rate in cheat detection <1% stability error rate Hundreds of features, updates, and bug fixes deployed 60% faster game launch times Faster, Smoother, Better We know every second counts when you want to play. This year, we cut EA Javelin Anticheat launch times in half through optimized startup processes. We also upgraded our anti-tampering system, achieving 20% faster performance and a 10% smaller footprint. Players now see progress indicators during launch and get clearer error messages in all EA-supported languages when something needs attention. We enforce minimum Windows requirements upfront with helpful guidance rather than cryptic errors. We fixed multiple compatibility issues with AMD and NVIDIA driver updates, ensuring features like AMD Anti-Lag, NVIDIA Smooth Motion, and DLSS over-the-air updates work seamlessly with EA Javelin Anticheat. When we deployed a compatibility fix for AMD Anti-Lag in October 2025, it resolved launch issues for 45,000 players within 48 hours…and most never even knew there was a problem. Behind the scenes, we completed a major backend infrastructure migration with zero player disruption. That is a testament to our engineering discipline. Securing the PC Ecosystem EA Javelin Anticheat’s impact extends beyond individual games. This year, over 4.8M players enabled Secure Boot on their systems after we introduced configurable Secure Boot requirements, starting with Battlefield 2042. This industry-leading approach strengthens the entire PC gaming ecosystem against kernel-level threats. For Battlefield 6, we also introduced TPM 2.0 requirements, establishing a new security baseline for next-generation titles. Taking the Fight Outside the Game EA raised concerns with Collective Minds, the manufacturer of the Cronus Zen and Strike Pack hardware devices, regarding third-party tools that enable cheating in multiple EA titles. Following our engagement, EA-related content and scripts were removed from the Cronus Zen and Strike Pack public sites and Discord server. Evolving Threat Detection In the past year, we’ve deployed hundreds of detection updates, targeting evolving cheat methods: Anti-DMA protection: New capabilities to detect and block Direct Memory Access cheat hardware Input manipulation defense: Multiple updates blocking malicious input devices, macro software, and synthetic input tools Continuous adaptation: 7 major security upgrades plus hundreds of incremental improvements Cheat providers often advertise “undetectable” status, a claim that's always temporary. We see cheat subscriptions averaging $20-150/month, creating a lucrative black market we're working to dismantle through technical, legal, and platform partnership approaches. New Titles, New Challenges Over the past year, EA Javelin Anticheat expanded to protect some of EA's biggest launches and experiences, including skate., Battlefield Labs, Battlefield 6, and EA SPORTS College Football 27. Each title brings unique gameplay mechanics and threat models, requiring tailored detection strategies while maintaining our ecosystem-wide learnings. The Trade-Offs We Make We balance detection speed with accuracy. We could ban more, faster, but we’d risk false positives impacting our legitimate players. Every new detection must clear a high bar: effective against cheaters without impacting legitimate play styles or accessibility tools. We maintain an appeals process for players who believe they were banned in error. Our review process is thorough but we don't disclose specifics to prevent exploitation. Our <1% false positive rate reflects our commitment to accuracy. We operate at kernel level because detecting external cheats requires it, not because we want deeper access. Javelin only runs when a game with Javelin protection included is running. All anti-cheat processes shut down when the game does. And, if you have uninstalled all of your EA games that have Javelin protection, Javelin will automatically uninstall and remove itself from your PC. What's Next In the near future, EA Javelin Anticheat will offer native ARM64 support. Whether you're on traditional x86 hardware or a next-gen ARM-based Windows device, you'll get the same great experience with no compromises. Stay tuned for more details. The cat-and-mouse game with cheaters never stops. Neither do we. We continually invest in R&D, machine learning models, behavioral analysis, and deeper, hardware-level protections. Our goal is to make cheating in EA titles so difficult, so expensive, and so risky, that it's not worth the effort.EA_Claus3 days agoCommunity Manager55Views1like1CommentEA Javelin Anti-Cheat Failing to Launch Battlefield 1
Hello, For the past few months I have haven't been able to play battlefield 1 at all due to the EA Javelin Anticheat failing every time I launch the game. I am always met with the error "EA Javelin Anticheat encountered an error. Please restart your PC.: C:\Program Files\Ea\AC\EAAntiCheat.GameService.exe ( 7 ) ( 2 )" which is also linked below as a screenshot. I've tried everything I can think of, such as repairing the game, reinstalling the game, reinstalling EA anti-cheat, reinstalling and repairing the game through the EA javelin thing, restarting my PC, updating my drivers, running everything through administrator, etc. I got it to work for me ONCE yesterday (by reintalling EA anticheat) and I tried replaying again this morning and the error reappeared. This is incredibly annoying and makes the game completely unplayable for me. Multiplayer servers for *Battlefield Hardline* were shut down a short while ago. That game featured the "Road to Battlefield 1" event. I do not know if DICE also intends to permanently shut down multiplayer for *Battlefield 4*. Naturally, I do not want to see any *Battlefield* game shut down, but I am unaware of their plans. All I hope for is that they bring back the "Road to Battlefield 1" event before *Battlefield 4* is permanently closed. That event has been brought back more than once; I hope there will be one last chance for players who missed out on the event-exclusive dog tags.mthowr6 days agoRising Rookie55Views3likes3Comments[BF1]What Operations do you want to see

NEED HELLLLPPPPPP PLEASE!!! I'm a Xbox One user who play BF4 . 5 days ago I encountered a problem: The game kept showing "connecting" as soon as I enter it. Besides, I cannot see BFV & BF2042 through Battlefield menu (which is a shortcut to enter other BF games), and I cannot see my avatar in front of "Career". I've checked everything: Internet connection, EA Play subscription, personal account, updates, etc. Everything was OK, and other EA games were available (Titanfall 2). A friend of mine whose server's region is same with me was able to play the multiplayer mode. It's been 5 days and only Campaign is available. When launching Battlefield 1, a pop‑up window suddenly appears showing that EA JAVELIN has encountered an error with error code 12, and then the program closes. This issue started on August 30th. I have been unable to launch the game for a whole week. I have not found any other players online reporting the same Error Code 12. None of these have worked. Other games like Battlefield V, Battlefield VI, Need for Speed Heat, and Titanfall 2 all launch and run without any issues. I am unable to find any working solution for this error on the forums, so I hope official support can help investigate. I look at Reddit posts on BF games frequently. One game stood out to be the best ever. BF1. I never got into it because of the no bot support. I decided to install it again and see if I could get into the best BF rated by players. I found a server nearly full. I joined and died, over and over to players I couldn't even see. Not fun at all. I do not want to sweat over a game to enjoy it. I went back to BF6 and played on one of my casual experiences. Instant fun. I have fun with bots. I wish older titles had bot lobbies as well. Thank you DICE and EA for giving bot support to first 2042 and now BF6. I hope that this will be the Norm going forward into future titles. Bots have skill settings to match the skill levels of players to give all players a chance. Bots do not cheat!!! Bots play the objective. BF remakes of BF1, Vietnam, BF5 are all on my radar if they have Bot support.19Views1like0Comments
