BF4 on PS4: Rented Server Issues
Not sure where to post this, so apologies if I've got this wrong. I've rented a BF4 server on PS4 and, well, it's active and working but disappears from the server browser list. If I make a config change and it restarts, it re-appears for a short while but then disappears. This means nobody can find it to join it. I spoke to EA online chat and they told me that I had to speak to Sony, as I'd rented the server via them. I know this is wrong and that EA are responsible. What can I do?
Battlefield 1 "Unable to Connect" Issue Please Help
Dear friends, I am having a persistent connectivity issue with Battlefield 1. While I can play Battlefield 2042 without any problems on the same account and PC, Battlefield 1 stays offline and gives a "Go Online" error. Steps I’ve already taken: Reinstalled the game. Tried different internet connections and changed DNS. Cleared EA App cache and repaired game files. Since Battlefield 2042 works fine, I suspect a specific account-side synchronization issue with my Battlefield 1 profile. I have done multiple tutorials, multiple reddit tutorials and looked through alot of EA forums. Nothing has solved my issue. I checked event viewer and it says " EAAntiCheatService Exit type 136. How do i solve this issue? i have set all ea apps and all ea anticheat firewalls to let everything work as administrator and let it pass through the firewall public and private. i have reset my dns settings. i have tried literally everything, what do i do now? Please help me solve this.The Xbox 360 version of Battlefield Hardline dosen't work on Xbox One/Series
So as the title mentions the Phisical game of Battlefield Hardline isn't compatible with eny modern xbox es For a game that I've got for like 5 dollars I don't want to pay 20 dollars more to play the "Compatible" version Please EA fix yo games
Weekly weapons Scrap Exchange updates
I have calculated the theoretical amout of scraps you would need if every item would appear in the weekly exchange and you could buy it that way. Amount of scraps needed by category and total: 10.000 x 17 = 170.000 2.000 x 195 = 390.000 800 x 262 = 209.600 300 x 372 = 111.600 TOTAL x 846 = 881.200 Puzzles are NOT taken into account here! Meaning the number would be higher still. But since you tend to get all pieces over time with the OP Battlepacks I excluded them from here. At least without the special rare melee weapons which are otherwise unobtainable like the Ararebo, Coupe Coupe, Arditi Dagger(still unobtainable, has never been seen in the exchange) and Barbed Wire Bat If we assume the average loot per day looks like this we roughly get 1k scraps every day 30+90+270 & 90+270+270 = 1020/day Now that we have the total amount of scraps needed and a rough estimate on the average loot based on personal experience from over 1 year of daily grinding we can calculate how many days of grinding we need to earn the necessary scraps to be able to buy every skin in the game which looks like this: 881.200/1020 = 863.922 days This accumulates to this timeframe of DAILY grinding needed to earn every skin in the game: 2 years 4 months ~2 weeks (11 days) Again, this is assuming all skins where available in the exchange which is far from the case making the situation even worse. This timeframe is unacceptable for a AAA game you paid over 100€ for at release, me included. Some free2play games involve less grinding than this just to earn some textures. I understand that there was monetary incentive behind making the game intentionally grindy (though I still find this practice to be in a AAA game unacceptable by principle) to boost Battlepack sales. But this game is almost 8 years old now and I really doubt you're making anywhere close to the amount of money compared to the release period. Meaning there is no more incentive to make this game intentionally grindy anymore. My suggestion would be to either remove the daily limit of Operation Battlepacks, increase the limit from 2 to something like 4 or 5 per day or have them drop 2 or 3 crates instead of 1 at a time. Unlike currently this is much more respectful of the players time. Money is one thing but to disrespect the players time to this extent when we know that everyones time is limited both in daily terms and total just so you get some textures is ridiculous. Due to the age of the game please reconsider the current way of earning scraps to make it more tolerable. I've come too far to give up now but most people don't have this patience. Me included (for future or other games) since this will be the last game I'll grind this much for. If the next Battlefield turns out to be this grindy I'll really think twice before buying something which doesn't respect anyones time. Thanks in advance, hope to see some changes to this system!
Bring back Battlefield 2 and Bad Company 3
It seems EA/DICE is really good at making games run on the same maps forever. BF 6 is using several BF maps from older versions such as BF 3 and BF 4. Why not redo BF 2 and add the destruction. Make the helicopters and jets flyable like the original Battlefield 2 without the overlapping controls. Set the game so a person can actually practice on maps on their own using a single player option like Battlefield 2 was. Maps are a big thing for me and many others. El Alamein, strike at Karkand and other maps would be nice to see. Just a thought I’ve had for years. Maybe even bring back Battlefield Vietnam and/or 1942.
next sale when?
me and my buddies had so much fun in battlefield 6, we decided to try playing old battlefield games like battlefield 3 and 4, but the thing is we don't know when the next sale is and it's been 2 months and we're still waiting for the sales. does anyone know when the next sale for battlefield is? or a most likely date at least on steam?
Battlefield 3 doesn't start from Battlelog.
I've just bought battlefield 3. And installed EA app (PC). I've updated everything (Windows etc) I can't launch the game from Battlelog. And if I try to start game from desktop shortcut error says I need origin to play the game. What do I do? Thanks for the help :)
(PC) Battlefield 1 disconnects after ten minutes of gameplay.
I have tried: Ethernet connection, different DNS, Reinstall game, Reinstall EA Play, Repair game files, Port forward the usual ports, firewall rules, uPnP on, Restart computer, Different hard drive. Nothing works. After ten to fifteen minutes, I am disconnected with no error code. It's been months. Please, anyone.
Why aren't my emblems updating?
I wanted to change the emblem in BF4 for the first time in a while, so I changed it to a new one in battlelog, but when I opened the game, the emblem I was using before was still there and hadn't changed. I then tried deleting the emblem in battlelog, but it still wouldn't change back to the original emblem. This is the steam version.
