EA Software Bogging Down PC - CPU + Mem usage - Problematic
Since installing EA software 2 days ago in order to play battlefield, I noticed that my PC immediately began having problems. The problems my PC began to have are: slowing down the PC overall, causing crashes, and causing the computer to freeze up about once every 20 seconds. I tried playing battlefield, but it is unplayable due to the constant EAanticheat service causing the PC to freeze every 10-20 seconds due to it's constant CPU usage spiking from 30-80%. I was forced to uninstall the EA software due to the issues listed above, and immediately my PC went back to normal and no longer has any issues. After this horrible experience, I don't believe I will ever buy another EA game, and I am spreading the word to all of my friends to avoid it at all costs. Following was posted on X by Battlefield Bulletin and got me worried about the new game. There are several red flags in this article. REPORT: Former ex-DICE dev (Rizible) claims that 98% of the team creating the next #Battlefield has not worked on the series' former releases. Rizible says the old DICE leadership has already quit, and EA has hired Call of Duty's GM (Byron Beede) to "rebuild the franchise." "If Beede sticks to his vision we'll get: 1. A full priced main game with limited single player. 2. Seasons, Battlepass and live service slop. 3. A free to play mode like Warzone." "EA leadership (Wilson, Miele, Beede, Zampella, all of them) are corpos through and through. They want to extract maximum revenue from their players and drive up shareholder value. They make games to make money, not the reverse." "The goal is a new #Battlefield game every year. I think EA has a roadmap to achieve this, but we won't see the next game in 2026.” TTK Games is where "most of the old Battlefield talent now works", says Rizible, "and if you know Embark, then you've probably tried The Finals. Can't use reshade with the new anti-cheat update
Hello, Why we can't use reshade anymore ??? Hi! I played it for the last time about a month ago and needed memory on my SSD. I deleted the game where I had a premium pass, yesterday I downloaded it again and all the weapons and other content available with the premium pass disappeared, but the progress and statistics of the weapons were preserved. help me please, I don't know what to do.
Weekly weapons Scrap Exchange updates
I have calculated the theoretical amout of scraps you would need if every item would appear in the weekly exchange and you could buy it that way. Amount of scraps needed by category and total: 10.000 x 17 = 170.000 2.000 x 195 = 390.000 800 x 262 = 209.600 300 x 372 = 111.600 TOTAL x 846 = 881.200 Puzzles are NOT taken into account here! Meaning the number would be higher still. But since you tend to get all pieces over time with the OP Battlepacks I excluded them from here. At least without the special rare melee weapons which are otherwise unobtainable like the Ararebo, Coupe Coupe, Arditi Dagger(still unobtainable, has never been seen in the exchange) and Barbed Wire Bat If we assume the average loot per day looks like this we roughly get 1k scraps every day 30+90+270 & 90+270+270 = 1020/day Now that we have the total amount of scraps needed and a rough estimate on the average loot based on personal experience from over 1 year of daily grinding we can calculate how many days of grinding we need to earn the necessary scraps to be able to buy every skin in the game which looks like this: 881.200/1020 = 863.922 days This accumulates to this timeframe of DAILY grinding needed to earn every skin in the game: 2 years 4 months ~2 weeks (11 days) Again, this is assuming all skins where available in the exchange which is far from the case making the situation even worse. This timeframe is unacceptable for a AAA game you paid over 100€ for at release, me included. Some free2play games involve less grinding than this just to earn some textures. I understand that there was monetary incentive behind making the game intentionally grindy (though I still find this practice to be in a AAA game unacceptable by principle) to boost Battlepack sales. But this game is almost 8 years old now and I really doubt you're making anywhere close to the amount of money compared to the release period. Meaning there is no more incentive to make this game intentionally grindy anymore. My suggestion would be to either remove the daily limit of Operation Battlepacks, increase the limit from 2 to something like 4 or 5 per day or have them drop 2 or 3 crates instead of 1 at a time. Unlike currently this is much more respectful of the players time. Money is one thing but to disrespect the players time to this extent when we know that everyones time is limited both in daily terms and total just so you get some textures is ridiculous. Due to the age of the game please reconsider the current way of earning scraps to make it more tolerable. I've come too far to give up now but most people don't have this patience. Me included (for future or other games) since this will be the last game I'll grind this much for. If the next Battlefield turns out to be this grindy I'll really think twice before buying something which doesn't respect anyones time. I`m repeating the same topic, because the first one has 0 answers. Since the middle of fall BF1 does not start. The game is bought on Steam I've tried all the tips from Steam discussions, recently I tried to communicate directly with EA Support, but unfortunately, despite the pretty good attempts, still nothing works. I'll describe my problems: - First of all, before each launch, the game asks for administrative privileges (which it has) (the window is from EA App, not Windows) - Secondly, after clicking on the play button, the Spalsh Screen of the game opens, but suddenly the window disappears, opening the EA App, where for a second I see the error “some features have been disabled because the EA app launched from another application”. - Thirdly, I'm sure that the problem is not in the characteristics of the computer, RTX 2070 can definitely play BF1 without any problems. Before the introduction of anticheat in the game, I had no problems with launch at all. I guess someone can help me at least here, but I'm already losing hope....
So, can we get a Battlefield 1943 remaster?
Battlefield 1943 was one of the most fun games you guys have made and it made me sad to see it shut down. Not having to worry about unlocks or what weapons to use and its arcadey feel made it fun and the whole idea of a small list of maps and classes was my favorite part. We all love the mainline games, theyre fantastic FPS games, but I think a small in between game could do even more good for the franchise and maybe even bring new players in. If I worked for the team I would be working my but off to make this a reality. Imagine a Battlefield 1944 as a tie in for next years game. That would be something that could offset the balance of other companies and maybe it could even be free to play with the same simple layout. Throw a small skin shop in it to have it make money but keep the 3 class system and small arcade maps. Just an idea though. I hope somebody important sees this. I came all the way to the forums to express my addiction to your sick shooter games so let somebody know we want a new Battlefield 1943!!! 🙌
