Battlefield 1 crashing PC and causing driver corruption for AMD graphics card
In the title, any time I try to join a lobby of BF1, as soon as I get placed into the game, both of my screens go black, I get an error sound of some sort (but I can't see the error to tell what it is, I attached the Windows log from the crash), and I have to manually restart my PC. After restarting, my second monitor won't turn on because somehow Battlefield has caused the AMD drivers to corrupt, which leads to an infinite loop of installing AMD graphics, in which the only way to fix it is to go to AMD's website and manually download the correct drivers for my PC. After reinstalling the drivers, my PC goes back to normal. This only started happening after last week's update, which I presume was to update the anticheat in some way. I am using the most up to date drivers for AMD. System Specs: Ryzen 5 7600x3d Ryzen RX 7900XT 32GB Gskill FlareX5 6000Mhz Any help would be appreciated. I saw someone else posted about this on the BF1 Reddit, just wanted to get the word out about this issue.
Where are servers in EU - Empty or 300 in ping - bug?
Hi, I live in Scandinavia and have 500/500 mbit internet connection. I've always had 15-20 full servers with ~30 in ping. So quite good stat for playing. Using PC with powerful hardware + fully updated Windows OS + powerful router. Wifi signal is strong and downloading speed yields a lot of megabytes per second. I don't know what happened lately with either Windows 11, the EA app after updates or the Battelfield 1 app, but I get MAX 1 or 2 playable servers when refreshing. Not using any filters. Playing other games e.g. Hell Let Loose, gives lots of servers with low latency. But in Battlefield 1, suddenly every server has either 300 in latency/ping with no players, or 1-2 servers with 2 players and the other one 60+. It does not make sense. Number of players one hour ago was 5,882 according to Steamcharts.. Any one else experiencing the same? I noticed this a month ago, but this still persist, hence the post.
So can we get a BFBC2 remaster
Just remaster the game dont change anything except how you could spin the attack heli in a cyclone of death and make it so you cant cheese mcoms in a tank from a distance. Include the vietnam and spect act kits and make it on a new engine with updated graphics and sell it for $35 to $40 .
Battlefield 4 Steam gift, Account is linked to an unknown email
I've got 2 accounts 1 is my brothers and the other I use for myself, Account 1 is linked to Steam 1 account 2 which was recently gifted Battlefield 4 premium is linked to an unknown account and I cannot gain access to it to remove it, However its my account. I've looked everywhere to contact support but EA has no easily accessible way to create a ticket or even contact someone who can help. ANYWHERE, I've looked for multiple hours on a few different occasions and cannot for the life of me find anywhere to contact someone. It's BEYOND frustrating as its my account and can't do anything to resolve it, or even get in touch with someone who is able to help.... Can a rep PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE give me a way to contact someone or give me a hand in removing this linked account and giving me access to MY ACCOUNT PLEASE! Thanks........ the year is 2026 hopefully support can give me a hand before I perish.
Battlefield Heroes deserves to come back – and here's why (Worth the read)
Okay I need to get this off my chest because I don't think people who never played this game understand what they missed. Battlefield Heroes ran from 2009 to 2015 and was completely different from the rest of the Battlefield series: third-person instead of first-person perspective, military-cartoonish instead of military-realistic, and completely financed through cosmetic items — unfortunately there was a certain Pay2Win character because of the weapons etc. The premise was absurd in the best way: the "Royals" against the "Nationals," because supposedly there was cheating at the last Olympic Games. Not a serious WWII setting, but deliberate nonsense. There were three classes, each distinguished by their own character instead of embodying generic roles: The Soldier could heal and knock enemies away, the Gunner was the tanky type with MG and shotgun and could launch himself into the air with his RPG, and the Commando was the sneaky sniper/knife combo. Each class really played differently, it wasn't just the same weapon with the same gameplay. You could also decide whether to bring two snipers or two knives. Or as a Gunner maybe prefer two shotguns instead. The variations and the uniqueness of how you could design your hero are unbeaten for me to this day. I don't even want to get started on the trailers that were produced for new content or events. Those were, for me, simply so incredibly entertaining that I still watch them again from time to time to this day. Yes, the TF2 comparisons keep coming — even back then already — but as soon as you played it, it was clear that it was its own thing. There were its own vehicles that you could have a lot of fun with with friends. Different gameplay/game modes and also maps. I think you can't compare these games, it's like with Battlefield/COD. For everyone who never played it: This wasn't an average shooter that you can forget. This was EA/DICE actually taking a risk on something quirky and fun for once, instead of playing it safe. You could tell that so much love went into it. Yes, in the end it was unfortunately discontinued, for whatever reasons. However, I'm sure that EA let Battlefield Heroes die too quickly. A few more years and more attention from the developers, and this game would have an extremely large player base today. I'm not naive enough to believe that EA will announce a revival tomorrow just because of a forum thread. I also don't think that a Battlefield Heroes remaster would cost extremely much. So why not take a risk again? EA does stand for "Electronic Arts" after all. But if enough people here show that interest still exists — no matter in what form: remaster, private servers, spiritual successor — then maybe it will catch someone's attention eventually. Also to the people who doesn't know it: Especially the young generation would really love this game, I'm sure of that! If needed, check out the trailers or the montages from players. To this day, no shooter has come close to BFH's gameplay, and that gap has remained a niche nobody has ever really filled. So write a comment and give a like. No matter whether you played it back then or are reading this for the first time. Give it a chance! With much love to the community and the team at EA <3
Battlefield 4 European Servers Are Constantly Under DDoS Attacks – Please Help
Hello Battlefield Team, I am writing on behalf of the Battlefield 4 community on PlayStation. Almost every remaining European Battlefield 4 server is constantly being targeted by DDoS attacks. There are only a few active European servers left, and nearly every server is eventually attacked, making it almost impossible for us to enjoy the game. Battlefield 4 still has a loyal community that truly loves this game. We have supported it for many years, and we simply want to play without the servers constantly going offline because of these attacks. We respectfully ask EA to investigate this issue and do everything possible to help protect the remaining European Battlefield 4 servers. I am even considering renting my own Battlefield 4 server because I love this game and want to help keep it alive for the community. If I rent a server, can EA or the server provider protect it against DDoS attacks? Is there any solution available to stop these attacks or reduce their impact? Please help us. Battlefield 4 is still one of the best games ever made, and many players continue to enjoy it. We don’t want to see the remaining community disappear because of constant DDoS attacks. Thank you for your time. We sincerely hope to receive a response from the Battlefield team.
Weekly weapons Scrap Exchange updates
I have calculated the theoretical amout of scraps you would need if every item would appear in the weekly exchange and you could buy it that way. Amount of scraps needed by category and total: 10.000 x 17 = 170.000 2.000 x 195 = 390.000 800 x 262 = 209.600 300 x 372 = 111.600 TOTAL x 846 = 881.200 Puzzles are NOT taken into account here! Meaning the number would be higher still. But since you tend to get all pieces over time with the OP Battlepacks I excluded them from here. At least without the special rare melee weapons which are otherwise unobtainable like the Ararebo, Coupe Coupe, Arditi Dagger(still unobtainable, has never been seen in the exchange) and Barbed Wire Bat If we assume the average loot per day looks like this we roughly get 1k scraps every day 30+90+270 & 90+270+270 = 1020/day Now that we have the total amount of scraps needed and a rough estimate on the average loot based on personal experience from over 1 year of daily grinding we can calculate how many days of grinding we need to earn the necessary scraps to be able to buy every skin in the game which looks like this: 881.200/1020 = 863.922 days This accumulates to this timeframe of DAILY grinding needed to earn every skin in the game: 2 years 4 months ~2 weeks (11 days) Again, this is assuming all skins where available in the exchange which is far from the case making the situation even worse. This timeframe is unacceptable for a AAA game you paid over 100€ for at release, me included. Some free2play games involve less grinding than this just to earn some textures. I understand that there was monetary incentive behind making the game intentionally grindy (though I still find this practice to be in a AAA game unacceptable by principle) to boost Battlepack sales. But this game is almost 8 years old now and I really doubt you're making anywhere close to the amount of money compared to the release period. Meaning there is no more incentive to make this game intentionally grindy anymore. My suggestion would be to either remove the daily limit of Operation Battlepacks, increase the limit from 2 to something like 4 or 5 per day or have them drop 2 or 3 crates instead of 1 at a time. Unlike currently this is much more respectful of the players time. Money is one thing but to disrespect the players time to this extent when we know that everyones time is limited both in daily terms and total just so you get some textures is ridiculous. Due to the age of the game please reconsider the current way of earning scraps to make it more tolerable. I've come too far to give up now but most people don't have this patience. Me included (for future or other games) since this will be the last game I'll grind this much for. If the next Battlefield turns out to be this grindy I'll really think twice before buying something which doesn't respect anyones time. Thanks in advance, hope to see some changes to this system!
No option to download Back to Karkand
I recently purchased premium and attempted to download my maps, rift clicked on bf3 withing origin and clicked show game details. This takes me to a page where u can download the map packs so I right clicked on each pack and clicked download however there is no download option for karkand, instead it displays my friends that own it. Please help

I am a loyal Battlefield fan from China. Regarding the achievements in Battlefield: Hardline, I need your help. Battlefield: Hardline shut down its online official servers in 2023, which has prevented many Chinese players from unlocking the achievement "Test Your Mettle." This has caused great disappointment, as it affects 100% game completion.In addition, there’s also the achievement of killing 10k enemies across four different military units.I kindly ask that you consider releasing a fix or alternative solution for this achievement, such as automatically unlocking it or adjusting the criteria so that it can be completed in other ways. Battlefield: Hardline still holds a place in the hearts of many players, and solving this issue would mean a lot to both players and the community. "you have lost connection to the session" bug
I've tried almost every available online solution, yet still i cannot play the game for the past month or so, i cant join any server and every time i try i get an error message that say "you have to connection to the session" I've tried to open my ports and close them/ DMZ DNS literally everything and nothing works all i want to do i play and i cant anymore
