Weekly weapons Scrap Exchange updates
I have calculated the theoretical amout of scraps you would need if every item would appear in the weekly exchange and you could buy it that way. Amount of scraps needed by category and total: 10.000 x 17 = 170.000 2.000 x 195 = 390.000 800 x 262 = 209.600 300 x 372 = 111.600 TOTAL x 846 = 881.200 Puzzles are NOT taken into account here! Meaning the number would be higher still. But since you tend to get all pieces over time with the OP Battlepacks I excluded them from here. At least without the special rare melee weapons which are otherwise unobtainable like the Ararebo, Coupe Coupe, Arditi Dagger(still unobtainable, has never been seen in the exchange) and Barbed Wire Bat If we assume the average loot per day looks like this we roughly get 1k scraps every day 30+90+270 & 90+270+270 = 1020/day Now that we have the total amount of scraps needed and a rough estimate on the average loot based on personal experience from over 1 year of daily grinding we can calculate how many days of grinding we need to earn the necessary scraps to be able to buy every skin in the game which looks like this: 881.200/1020 = 863.922 days This accumulates to this timeframe of DAILY grinding needed to earn every skin in the game: 2 years 4 months ~2 weeks (11 days) Again, this is assuming all skins where available in the exchange which is far from the case making the situation even worse. This timeframe is unacceptable for a AAA game you paid over 100€ for at release, me included. Some free2play games involve less grinding than this just to earn some textures. I understand that there was monetary incentive behind making the game intentionally grindy (though I still find this practice to be in a AAA game unacceptable by principle) to boost Battlepack sales. But this game is almost 8 years old now and I really doubt you're making anywhere close to the amount of money compared to the release period. Meaning there is no more incentive to make this game intentionally grindy anymore. My suggestion would be to either remove the daily limit of Operation Battlepacks, increase the limit from 2 to something like 4 or 5 per day or have them drop 2 or 3 crates instead of 1 at a time. Unlike currently this is much more respectful of the players time. Money is one thing but to disrespect the players time to this extent when we know that everyones time is limited both in daily terms and total just so you get some textures is ridiculous. Due to the age of the game please reconsider the current way of earning scraps to make it more tolerable. I've come too far to give up now but most people don't have this patience. Me included (for future or other games) since this will be the last game I'll grind this much for. If the next Battlefield turns out to be this grindy I'll really think twice before buying something which doesn't respect anyones time. Thanks in advance, hope to see some changes to this system!
C30 airship y-axis reversed bug in BF1
Theres a bug on all the naval maps where the L30 airship y-axis is reversed when using the binoculars. Its been 10 years and this bug still hasnt been fixed. It occurs 100% of the time for every PC player and the only “fix” is to invert the y-axis in your settings everytime you use an airship.
EA Javelin Anticheat error (7)(1053) — Battlefield 1 won't launch
Hi, I'm unable to launch Battlefield 1 (purchased on the Epic Games Store, linked to EA App). The game consistently fails with this error: French (as shown on my system): "Le service EA anticheat a rencontré une erreur. Veuillez redémarrer le jeu. : C:\Program Files\EA\AC\EAAntiCheat.GameService.exe ( 7 ) ( 1053 )" English: "The EA anticheat service encountered an error. Please restart the game.: C:\Program Files\EA\AC\EAAntiCheat.GameService.exe ( 7 ) ( 1053 )" Windows also logs a matching Service Control Manager timeout (Event ID 7000/7009) when the EAAntiCheatService is started manually — it hangs for exactly 90 seconds and never responds. Already tried, all without effect: - Full clean reinstall of EA App + Epic Games Launcher + Battlefield 1 - Repairing the game (multiple times) - Unlinking/relinking the Epic account to EA - Hyper-V/virtualization disabled system-wide - Windows Defender exclusions for the game and anti-cheat folders - Secure Boot confirmed enabled - TPM 2.0 confirmed active and ready - No conflicting anti-cheat driver running (Vanguard/Easy Anti-Cheat stopped, set to manual) - Windows Vulnerable Driver Blocklist temporarily disabled - Windows system files verified clean (SFC /scannow + DISM RestoreHealth) - No dual-boot/GRUB in the boot chain Worth noting: this exact same error code (7)(1053) is also reported by players on Battlefield 6 and other EA titles using Javelin anti-cheat — this looks like a shared bug in the anti-cheat component itself, not something specific to Battlefield 1 or to one particular installation. Offer ID: Origin.OFR.50.0000557 Entitlement ID: 1022741251247 Happy to provide logs or run further diagnostics if it helps track this down.
BF1 10th Anniversary - Make Unobtainable Weapons Earnable Again
BF1 is almost 10 years old and I think DICE should give it one final update to make the weapons that aren’t obtainable anymore earnable again. There’s a bunch of weapons and melees that you can’t get anymore because they were part of old events, promotions or preorders. They could add new assignments for them, put the melees in Battlepacks or the Exchange, or with a little more effort they could even make some Easter eggs for them. Some of the Operations melee weapons are technically still obtainable, but they depend on Operations Campaign Battlepacks, which can sometimes be unreliable to earn. It would be great to make those reliably earnable again too. Operations campaigns could be updated to automatically change each week. There are also a few developer/unreleased weapons already in the game that could be really cool to finally make available for the 10th anniversary. I think after 10 years there should be a way for everyone to earn the gameplay content in the game. Especially new players who never had a chance to get this stuff. I posted this idea on the BF1 subreddit and it got over 800 upvotes, so there seems to be a lot of support for it. They don't need to make new content or a big update. Just one final update that makes the complete BF1 experience available for current and future players. They could also make the exchange update automatically each week instead of relying manual updates. Weapons that are no longer normally obtainable: BFV Enlister weapons Fedorov-Degtyarev BAR M1918A2 M1919 SMG Mosin-Nagant M38 Carbine M1911A1 Melee weapons Arditi Dagger Coupe Coupe Barbed Wire Bat Ararebo Operations Campaign dependent French Butcher Knife Russian Award Knife Russian Axe Developer/unreleased weapons that could be anniversary additions C96 Export Howdah Sweeper M1903 Silencer For the old event weapons, new permanent assignments would probably make more sense than trying to bring the old Community Missions back. This should be relatively straightforward and could be implemented rather easily. It would be awesome to see BF1 get one last update for its 10th anniversary and leave the game in a state where someone who starts playing years from now can still work toward the 100% complete arsenal.
Battlescreen stop working and Couldn't connet to Battlelog in-game.
This problem started two days ago. Everything was working fine before that. Have other Battlescreen users encountered this issue? Or has EA disabled Battlescreen? I've tried all browsers and reinstalled all software, including a clean install of Windows—but the problem persists. So it shouldn't be my issue. Additionally, I can't join servers that require a password through Battlelog because the password input box doesn't appear. It jumps directly to the server joining process and then displays "Unable to join server: wrong password." EA/DICE please fix the above issues.
BF1 fails to launch at all and always crashes (Error 0x186A1)
I have tried the following: Reinstalling the game fully Launching the game, anti-cheat and EA apps in administrator mode (and W8 compatibility mode) Moving the EA app to the same drive as the game install Moving the game installation from Steam to EA only Installing all of the video files (I can't remember their name) individually. Repairing the game and EA anti-cheat repeatedly. Adding the game and anything to do with EA to Windows Defender exceptions.
EA Javelin Anti-Cheat Failing to Launch Battlefield 1
Hello, For the past few months I have haven't been able to play battlefield 1 at all due to the EA Javelin Anticheat failing every time I launch the game. I am always met with the error "EA Javelin Anticheat encountered an error. Please restart your PC.: C:\Program Files\Ea\AC\EAAntiCheat.GameService.exe ( 7 ) ( 2 )" which is also linked below as a screenshot. I've tried everything I can think of, such as repairing the game, reinstalling the game, reinstalling EA anti-cheat, reinstalling and repairing the game through the EA javelin thing, restarting my PC, updating my drivers, running everything through administrator, etc. I got it to work for me ONCE yesterday (by reintalling EA anticheat) and I tried replaying again this morning and the error reappeared. This is incredibly annoying and makes the game completely unplayable for me. Here are my PC Specs as well: Windows 11 13th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-13400F (2.50 GHz) 16.0 G RAM NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 8GB VRAM
Funny story from the past.
Found this story that was written 12 years ago, when BF4 was new. Imagine how far from the truth it is today. Fun fact: Recently I saw a hacker streaming on twitch (will not say who, coz he is cool - suffice it to say that he is pretty famous) and I noticed him using a "map hack". That means the entire enemy team is uncovered in your minimap and map. I suppose it makes for better footage and viewing if you have ESP enabled. (he was not aimbotting though). Using and spotting Hacks (went to level cap using hacks 200 hours+ played): Killing enemy players becomes very very easy. The whole games goes from skill to a simple clicking exercise. It is actually so easy to outplay other players that it becomes boring. This was the major reason I went back to playing legit after my hack account(s) reached level cap. Did you ever see a teammate unloading an entire magazine of bullets into a wall or empty corridor? That is him getting his accuracy down so that he is not detected by fairfight (lolz). Often I will join a high ticket round (metro or locker) when it is about 70% over. This is great as the leaderboard already has plenty of double digit kills on both sides and I can rise quickly, killing faster than others without being spotted by other players (just making sure I die frequently and shoot at the wall a lot in order to keep the stats in check). You do get challenged every once in a while. Most of the time it is another hacker. They are quite easy to spot as they will prefire around corners and aim at you before you are visible. (No problem for you as you can see him aiming at you thx to ESP) - you could kill him through the wall but that would be no fun at all and fairfight tails your pretty hacking butt. My favorite configuration draws a box around enemy players (nice purple) only when they are visible so that I don't aim through walls. This is great for sniping, spotting and conquest large in general. I limit my aiming angle (the angle left & right of your crosshair that the aimbot actively searches for targets) to 2,32435349998 degrees (I aim pretty ok) and my aiming speed at 74,5864438° per second - good enough for medium range (overkill for sniping). (Of course these are not my real aim angles and speed, but you get the picture). Have you ever been "counter counter knifed"? (In the animation you tried to counter knife somebody and the animation already started but then he slaps you in the face and then proceeds to knife you no problem.) This funny thing happens every time a hacker has "auto melee/auto knifing" switched on. The bot will automatically try to knife an enemy once the enemy is close enough and somehow even manages to beat a counter knife.
battlefield 4 you have lost connection to the session (2025)
Since last 24 hours a new issue has been occured - anytime i try to join server the "you have lost connection to the session" problem appearing during first minute (usually during load or first 10 seconds) I re-start routers choose other router+provider even tried "start a test range, shot one target and then join play server" nothing helped(( (PC, Steam-version)
Battlefield 3 Russian Language Solution.
Hello everyone. I recently contacted EA support. And I wanted to pass along word. If you are wanting to play bf3 and notice you only can select Russian language that EA support can resolve it. When I look on EA App and selected bf3 it showed that it was Battlefield 3 extended edition. That one is in fact for Russians only. The one you want that lets you select English and other languages is Battlefield 3 Limited Edition. Make note to tell EA support/chat that you want the Battlefield 3 Limited Edition.
Battlefield 1 Ban: Unanswered Appeal, Seeking Advice
My Battlefield 1 account was suddenly banned by EA. I have never used cheats and own the legitimate game copy.I submitted a ban appeal via EA’s official website long ago, but my ticket is still unanswered with no staff follow‑up review.This may be an incorrect trigger by the automatic anti‑cheat system. I wonder if any players had similar unresponded‑appeal cases and could share their solutions.
Game not loading in launcher
I purchased battlefield 4 almost and hour ago the game won’t load in launcher went to support been waiting an hour for a response still haven’t gotten one they said the estimated time would be 11 minutes I followed a bunch of instructions on how to troubleshoot the game restarting the app signing out and in to the app unsinstaling the app and reinstalling and logging in clearing the cache everything it said to do nothing has worked they won’t even let me refund the game and when I go to refund it shows another game I’ve refunded in the past and nothing else it won’t let me select it when I go payment and wallet then order history it shows it’s been purchased and the the order was completed Implying it should be able to be installed and yet nothing this is aggravating me and I’m never using this **bleep** client again I just want my money back and to move on
