Weekly weapons Scrap Exchange updates
I have calculated the theoretical amout of scraps you would need if every item would appear in the weekly exchange and you could buy it that way. Amount of scraps needed by category and total: 10.000 x 17 = 170.000 2.000 x 195 = 390.000 800 x 262 = 209.600 300 x 372 = 111.600 TOTAL x 846 = 881.200 Puzzles are NOT taken into account here! Meaning the number would be higher still. But since you tend to get all pieces over time with the OP Battlepacks I excluded them from here. At least without the special rare melee weapons which are otherwise unobtainable like the Ararebo, Coupe Coupe, Arditi Dagger(still unobtainable, has never been seen in the exchange) and Barbed Wire Bat If we assume the average loot per day looks like this we roughly get 1k scraps every day 30+90+270 & 90+270+270 = 1020/day Now that we have the total amount of scraps needed and a rough estimate on the average loot based on personal experience from over 1 year of daily grinding we can calculate how many days of grinding we need to earn the necessary scraps to be able to buy every skin in the game which looks like this: 881.200/1020 = 863.922 days This accumulates to this timeframe of DAILY grinding needed to earn every skin in the game: 2 years 4 months ~2 weeks (11 days) Again, this is assuming all skins where available in the exchange which is far from the case making the situation even worse. This timeframe is unacceptable for a AAA game you paid over 100€ for at release, me included. Some free2play games involve less grinding than this just to earn some textures. I understand that there was monetary incentive behind making the game intentionally grindy (though I still find this practice to be in a AAA game unacceptable by principle) to boost Battlepack sales. But this game is almost 8 years old now and I really doubt you're making anywhere close to the amount of money compared to the release period. Meaning there is no more incentive to make this game intentionally grindy anymore. My suggestion would be to either remove the daily limit of Operation Battlepacks, increase the limit from 2 to something like 4 or 5 per day or have them drop 2 or 3 crates instead of 1 at a time. Unlike currently this is much more respectful of the players time. Money is one thing but to disrespect the players time to this extent when we know that everyones time is limited both in daily terms and total just so you get some textures is ridiculous. Due to the age of the game please reconsider the current way of earning scraps to make it more tolerable. I've come too far to give up now but most people don't have this patience. Me included (for future or other games) since this will be the last game I'll grind this much for. If the next Battlefield turns out to be this grindy I'll really think twice before buying something which doesn't respect anyones time. Thanks in advance, hope to see some changes to this system!eduonkhl15 hours agoRising Vanguard81KViews30likes4390CommentsFalse PunkBuster GUID Global Ban after 3 years of absence (BF3 & BF4)
Hello EA Community and Support Team, I am writing this post because I am completely at a loss and need some advice or help from the Community Managers. I haven't played the game in about 3 years. Recently, I wanted to jump back in for a round of Battlefield, only to find out that I have received a global GUID ban from PunkBuster that affects both Battlefield 3 and Battlefield 4 on my account. I have been playing shooter games for as long as they exist and I have never used a cheat in my life. In fact, I have a long history in the community and used to be an admin on some of the most well-known servers across multiple games, including official admin duties for Battlefield 3 and Battlefield 4. My stats are completely transparent. I have played over 7,800 hours in BF3 and more than 1,000 hours in BF4 without a single issue. My BF4DB profile is 100% clean with a 0% cheat score. Account Details: In-Game Name: Pr-Guard GUID: 5b8eff45 BF4DB Profile: https://bf4db.com/player/522373658 Since I am completely clueless about what caused this, I can only guess that it might be a false positive related to the official software/driver for my Patriot "Viper Gaming Mouse" which I installed after freshly reinstalling my Windows 10 OS. However, this is pure speculation on my part as I am completely at a loss. I have already tried to submit a ticket to Even Balance, but they are completely unresponsive. Is there any way an EA Community Manager can forward this case or pass my clean history to Even Balance? Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated. Best regards, Pr-Guard32Views0likes2CommentsMy BF1 account has been banned
I have been banned since December last year, and EA said that my game has been enhanced. Brother, I am really speechless. I haven't done anything, and even my record is outrageous. How could I cheat? I have appealed 2 to 3 times in a row and nothing happened, so I have decided to post it on the forum, hoping that EA staff can lift the ban after seeing itdsfh7317 hours agoSeasoned Newcomer13Views1like2CommentsJust a thought
Here is an idea. EA can make the cheats available free (or not) to everyone. Just add an option in your EA account (like a bonus map or battle pack). The player can play with or without. The player is marked and everyone knows who is or is not using cheats, play on or not. The players that choose to keep their own cheats and opt out, will have to compete with everyone who chooses to use cheats, all on a level playing field. And what would that do to the cheat app industry ? ... Well would you rather pay monthly or just turn it on or off when you log in. You want a quick shoot'em up, or do you want to play seriously ? Game continues as usual with no more complaints about cheating. Everyone is on the same page.elderwarriors21 hours agoNew Hotshot11Views0likes0CommentsBattlefield 3 - requesting Serial Number
Good afternoon I have few games in EA application. I am trying to play B attlefield 3 which I have already played within EA app and shows as I Owned it. But it now it keeps asking for the Serial number once the app starts. It does not allow for the user to enter the serial number though. It should not be asking for that as I have already install and played the game before. After I start the game and try to enter a server map: This is what I ownedrbdaniel331 day agoSeasoned Newcomer22Views0likes5Comments"Failed to connect to EA Online" Since launch.
I bought Battlefield 1 on Steam around 2024. Since the day I installed it, I have never been able to connect to multiplayer. Every time I select Multiplayer, I immediately receive the message "Failed to connect to EA Online. Online features will be unavailable." The message appears almost instantly. When we first bought the game, my brother was able to connect to multiplayer on his own PC using a different Steam account and EA account, so the issue appears to be specific to my account or installation. I have already tried: Reinstalling Battlefield 1 and the EA app. Verifying the game files through Steam. Clearing the EA app cache. Resetting Windows networking. Testing a mobile hotspot instead of my home internet. Confirming my Steam account is linked to the correct EA account. Confirming the EA app recognizes my ownership of Battlefield 1 and shows the Play button. Confirming my EA account has no bans or penalties. Confirming I can sign in to Battlefield Companion. I also checked the EA logs. The EASteamProxyVerbose.log shows the game launches successfully, but the authentication state remains: authenticated:false Other than that, there are no obvious errors in the log. I have also tried contacting EA Support, but every time I submit a case, the website redirects me back to support articles covering the troubleshooting I've already completed. No case is created, and nothing appears under My Cases, so I'm not sure how to contact an EA advisor. Has anyone experienced this before? If an EA Community Manager sees this, could you please help me get in touch with the appropriate EA support team or investigate whether this could be an account or Battlefield 1 authentication issue? Thank you. Can't launch Battlefield 1 - invalid license
Last month I played Bf1 and everything was okay but then I had to delete it to free some space for other reasons. Then recently I installed it back, pressed "play" and then after some loading it says: "Invalid license". I tried to repair the game through Steam and it still didn't help. I reinstalled the game - didn't help. Reinstalled EA app - didn't help. I also tried cleaning the "License" cache but this cache duplicates the same files each time when I turn on battlefield 1. It shows the same error every day no matter how many times I tries fixing this issue. I've scrolled a bunch if articles, forums etc. in search of the solution and nothing seems to help. PLEASE help me solve this nonsense once and for all!243Views1like4CommentsBring back Battlefield Bad Company
Hello! My name is Triston, I was 8 years old when my dad introduced my to BFBC1, he and I played until the very end Dec 8 2023. We loved the game and still do, we wanted to play forever and that was the plan but sadly EA has shut down any and all servers for Bad Company. Everything about BFBC1 was perfect to me, the Recon Class, the voice acting for MP and Campaign, the destruction! I understand that it definitely wasn’t the most popping battlefield but it still was one of the most advanced games for its time, and it definitely still had a community. I know it’s a long shot but is there any way of bringing it back? I know there’s community servers for Bad Company 2 but it’s just not the same as 1. Anyways my dad and I would Kill to have BFBC1 back. All I want is just one server back, that’s all we would need I’m sure the community would even pay to keep it running. I don’t know tho, I pray you guys see it from my side thank you so much for your time.19Views0likes1CommentI can't play BF3

Hello everyone, I have a problem with Battlefield 4 Premium Edition on PC. The game launches normally and I can access the main menu without any issues. However, whenever I try to start the campaign or join any multiplayer server, the game gets stuck on the loading screen forever. It never finishes loading, and I have to force close the game using Task Manager. I have already tried the following: - Repaired the game through the EA App. - Reinstalled and tested PunkBuster successfully. - Cleared the EA App cache. - Updated my NVIDIA graphics drivers. - Deleted the Battlefield 4 folder in Documents to reset the game settings. - Restarted my PC. - Disabled overlays. My PC specifications: - Windows 11 - AMD Ryzen 5 7500F - NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 - 16 GB RAM Has anyone experienced this issue before or knows how to fix it? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!56Views0likes3CommentsBattlefield Hardline - Cannot Fire with mouse LMB
I can't seem to fire using the LMB, also getting stuck at the early part of Episode 1 where I first learn to show badge going down the rooftop going to save Tyson. Every time I click M to show badge I instantly fire a shot without clicking LMB and dies. Getting stuck here and I can't get through.MasterSY7211 day agoSeasoned Newcomer15Views0likes1CommentBattlefield: Bad Company 1 & 2
I know the Bad Company servers were shut down like 2 years ago, but those games meant a lot to so many of us. I was wondering if would you guys ever consider bringing the servers back just for a week? Just one last chance for fans to jump in, relive the memories, and say goodbye properly.Solved644Views2likes6Comments- nateundefined3 days agoSeasoned Newcomer101Views1like3Comments
Issues launching Battlefield
I've been a big fan of the franchise for years. When ever I talk to anyone about FPS games I mention Battlefield having the best gameplay and general experience out of any FPS. I've sung this games praise for nearly a decade now. It's sad but at this point I will no longer be buying any Battlefield games until EA decides to fix Battleye. It is way too restrictive and makes trying to even play the game an exercise in frustration. So the other day I got the itch to play an FPS and like I always do, I went to install Battlefield. Waited for the long download and then tried to run it. Secure boot is not on. Okay, that's fine. I go into BIOS, turn it on and try again. This is the point where I lost all interest in the franchise. Apparently I had some file somewhere that was triggering Battleye to give this message "This software cannot be used at the same time as the game. Please make sure it's not running, or restart your PC.: ReWASD." I don't have ReWASD Installed. So I do a bit of digging, delete all files that could be potentially triggering this, I go into processes and turn off any that could trigger this, I even go into the registry and delete any registers associated with anything made by the company. EA, I'm done with your games and I'm telling anyone that will listen about my experience so they stay far away from your products. This is absolutely ridiculous. Title Edited to Comply with Forum RulesBastVl4 days agoSeasoned Newcomer107Views1like5CommentsServer rental never opens Steam overlay - game hangs indefinitely
Summary: When renting a new server or renewing an existing Battlefield 1 server through the in-game server browser, the game shows an indefinite loading spinner and never opens the Steam Overlay checkout page. This affects both new server rentals and renewals — the game hangs identically in both cases. Regular Steam purchases (e.g. DLC/Shortcut Kit bundles) from within the same game session work correctly and open the Steam Overlay as expected, which rules out a Steam Overlay/client-side issue. Environment: Platform: PC (Steam) OS: Windows 11 EA App: Installed and running - overlay enabled Steam Overlay: Confirmed working (Shift+Tab opens fine; other overlay-to-store purchases work) Steps to reproduce: Launch Battlefield 1 via Steam, with EA App running in the background. Open the server browser, select a server you own (or attempt to rent a new one). Choose a rental/renewal duration and click Renew/Rent. Observe: the game shows a loading spinner that never resolves. The Steam Overlay checkout page never appears. Expected result: Steam Overlay opens a checkout/store page to complete the transaction (as it does for other in-game Steam purchases). Actual result: Infinite loading spinner. Troubleshooting already performed (all ruled out): Verified/reinstalled game files Tested on several PCs, networks and accounts (with help from friends) Confirmed Steam Overlay itself works (Shift+Tab, and other in-game Steam purchases open correctly) Confirmed EA App overlay is required for the flow to proceed at all (disabling it causes an immediate error instead) Cleared Steam's in-game browser cache/cookies Confirmed no other overlay software (Discord, GeForce Experience, RTSS, etc.) is running Tested in windowed, borderless, and fullscreen — same result in all modes Diagnostic findings: Network capture (TCPView) shows bf1.exe making 2–3 short-lived HTTPS connections to 108.128.119.120:443 immediately after clicking Renew/Rent. These connections complete and close normally within a couple of seconds. After that, no further network activity occurs from the game process, and Steam's own overlay browser log (webhelper.txt) shows zero new browser/popup windows created for the remainder of the session — confirming the game never calls the Steamworks API to open the checkout page. EA Desktop's background service log shows no related activity for this action either (only routine heartbeat traffic). Shortly after, Steam's overlay logs record the game process failing to present new frames for 60–90+ seconds, consistent with the game's main thread hanging. Conclusion: The failure occurs entirely within the client's handling of the response from the server-rental backend call — it never proceeds to invoke the Steam Overlay checkout, unlike every other purchase flow in the game, which work correctly. This appears to be a bug in the server rental/renewal feature specifically (client-side handling or backend response), not a local configuration, network, or Steam Overlay issue, since all of those have been independently verified to work. Impact: Unable to rent new servers or renew existing ones via the in-game flow at all.DiPuck4 days agoRising Newcomer30Views0likes1CommentThis is seriously,Battle field 1 B2B server BUGS report
