Battlefield Hardline ; Playstation 3, Can't join any game

This is concerning playstation 3 console . So my friend bought battlefield hardline , played online , got bored then gave it to me. I incerted the CD updated the game and started it , everything seemed fine ; i could choose my patches ( opened my agent ) customize my weapons and gadgets and even buy stuff , and i could browse servers with no problem , however i cant seem to join any game , when i choose to join a game i get stuck on the screen that tells me all the info i need about the mode i'm gonna play , you know that screen whete the news keep flowing at the bottom at the screen , it doesnt end , i stayed a whole day stucked and i cant seem to enter the match. Let me remind you that i dont get frozen but stuck. I tries everything from changing to ethernet rather than wifi to trying every single game mode with all the modifications from normal to hardcore etc. i just cant enter any match, a help would be so much appreciated as i have waited so long to play this game.
