Major lags (spikes) in Battlefield
Hi to everyone, but especially to the Battlefield fan's out there !
I would like to share some information about my problems with this great Game.
I get massive lags (lasting about 1-2 seconds) on BF4 Multilayer matches.
Picture & Sound start to hang (resulting in getting killed most the time)
This occurs not periodically or on special events but very often.
When there is no lag, I'm getting around 150 fps on ultra settings, (so I think this isn't really Hardware related)
My Specs are:
Intel Core i7 3820 @ 4 Ghz, Core parking, turbo mode and every energy saving procedure off (for investigation of this problem)
2 X GTX 670 SLI @ stock clocks
Asus X79 Pro Mainboard
2x 4 GB DDR3 1600 Mhz
OS SSD 256 GB Samsung SSD 840 series
Game SSD 128 GB Samsung SSD 840 series
750 W PSU
150 Mbit Down / 10 Mbit up Internet connection over Cable (Unitymedia Business)
OS: Windows 8 X64
Pings to German Servers are around 15 - 25 ms, no "ping spikes"
I did also:
"unpark" the cores on Windows Registry
Set Windows Energy Manager to "Maximum"
turned of all energy Saving rules on Nvidia Control Panel
I'm investigating if there is any diffrence in using x64 or 32 bit
I will update my information if there is any solution for me
best regards from Germany
