Voip not working on battlefield 4 on pc

Hello

Voip has ALT button as default button. Try to change to another button in Settings.

OK, don't take this the wrong way, but actually 3 guys have looked over this specific computer and problem with teamview, chats. We tried everything. We really googled all solutions that are already out there:

- Apply different keys, mouse-keys to the talk button

- Checked /Battlefield/settings/ folder and compared settings to my machine which is working fine

- installing new and old drivers of various kinds

- reinstalling DirectX as this was suggested in many solutions

- we tried different input devices

- we turned off the "exclusive mode" of the input device (you find it under settings)

- we tried to close all applications (Origin, browser, etc) and left only BF open

- beside this, remember that the PC was reinstalled completely

And finally, always keep in mind that the microphone IS indeed working as we were chatting the whole time over Origin Chat.

To ask a specific question: Does someone know, whether it is possible at all to see which input device is used by BF? We learned that the battlelog/voice site, that doesn't exist anymore, was only for the VOIP inside battlelog and not the game itself.

Additionally, as you might have read above, he can hear us but he cannot talk. The little speaker symbol in the squad list is visible, but the little "talking waves" that appear when you press LAlt never appear. 

Even if you have some vague guesses, share them but remember, we already tried a lot of things.

Hm, Origin in game? Did you try to disable it?

Hebrew i owe you a big thank you ...you are a star!!.... The exact same version was the problem I had.,.,., I've uninstalled it and first game i tried it worked ...me and 2 friends spent a week head scratching over this problem once again Thank you very much  🙂

I guess Lloyd will write something on his own, but I just wanted to thank you. After reading millions of answers and suggestions, I really had no hope that someone came over the same issue, had tried as many things as we had, AND took it a step further and finally found a solution.

We can chat again.

FYI, it looks like this GFE issue is probably more global, across other gaming platforms (Steam), as well, and will be looked into.  Here's the link to the forum (my entry is #215, but #217 references the Steam one where they said they'd look into it):
