Re: Battlefield 1 pc dvd version

@Patricianuk i suggest to contact the store from where you've bought it. Without the code, the discs are useless. Also, the retail version would still require Origin to function.

The retail edition should be sealed.and should contain either a leaflet or the code should be printed on the disc.

More than that, only Australia had a BF1 physical release, everyone else got a "code in the box" release (you get the activation code, the DVD case and no discs).

Thank you! I will check out the disks, there are numbers printed but I assumed them to be an identifier.

Do you know, perchance, a) how many digitsbthere should be, & b)If the are mixed numerals and letters, and letters, are these likely to be case sensitive?

Please excuse my ineptness - you would think,  after around 30 years working with computers I would be more knowledgeable but after 8 to 10 hours work, the last thing I felt like was computer gameplay, more likely a tall drink of the alcofrolic variety and a good book!

    Hey @Patricianuk,

if you purchased a version of an EA game in a box, be it with or without a physical medium, you should find a product code on a separate leaflet. Said code usually consists of 20 digits, mixed letters and numbers. If you enter it, upper and lower case do not make any difference and you can ignore the dashes, too.

Should you be unable to locate a product code, please do not hesitate to contact the retailer you originally purchased your product from.

@Patricianuk  Let us know how it worked. But, while the SP campaigns are intense, they are kind of short. The true meat of the game is in the MP.

And strange enough, i am not a MP person, either, but BF1 proved to be quite okay as an online experience. We do get the occasional trolls and miscreants, but generally the matches are fun. There are shorter modes like War Pigeons, Domination, Frontlines (10-30 minutes) and so on, while Operations can go for 2-3 hours. Conquest is in-between, with a match varying between 30 to 50 minutes (it can be faster, if one of the teams is really bad). Also, my reflexes are not great, but due to the sheer amount of fun, the game became a good way to unwind.
