Re: Not enough players and servers to unlock the DLC weapons that I PAID for.

Hi there @LuizBarros99 ,

I certainly hear you and understand your points, so please take my reply for what it is.  Just matter of facts and not to annoy you at all.

As you state, BF4 is now a few generations old and you dont always have the option to join a specific map or game mode when you want.  Not really much that you can do about that, except of course you can always rent a server yourself and set it up with maps and gamemodes as you want yourself.  Invite your friends to join if not other players also join in to get the game round going.

Regarding the DLC weapons, then you did not pay to get them.

You paid for the DLC extension packs, and ability to join games played on the maps in those DLCs.

That then gives you the opportunity to complete various assignments, which then may release a new weapon to you for you to use in the game.

But there is no guarantee to you for that, just because you paid for the DLC maps.   Not all players do accomplish those assignments either, sometimes as well simply because they are not lucky or good enough to complete the assigned tasks.  But just because they paid for the DLC it doesnt give them any entitlements to get any of the weapons in those DLCs.  Same for you and all of us.

Joining a generations old multiplayer game does come with some disadvantages, so you cant really expect all to function as when it was brand new and the hottest thing to play when you had 60000+ players online at all times.  At least you hopefully got it at a severely reduced price.   ;o)

For your second question:  It is not possible to transfer your soldier experience in upgrades from BF3 to BF4, when you moves to another platform.  MS xBox to xBox will work.  PS3 to PS4 will work.  PC to PC will work.  But not cross platform moves.

  • The thing is while I basically did not unlock anything on PC, I did in fact unlock most of the weapons and gadgets back on my PS3, which I migrated out of years ago.

However my previous computer was not strong enough to run BF4, so I basically could not play the game until like middle of last year.

So why would I have to spend more money to rent a server AND have to go out of my way looking after people to basically perform "boosting" or "exploiting"?
