[PS4] Cannot find friends platoon

So alot of my friends are currently in a platoon called "Death Squad". It has a picture of a clown with 2 knives as an emblem. Theyve sent me pictures of what to look for. However, when i search platoons on ps4, i find multiple other clans with the name "death squad" and even the same tag. [DS] however none of them are my friends platoon. I scroll all the way and it is never given as an option. The platoon is not set to private. Any solutions on why my search is limiting me and not showing all options?
