After watching JackFrags with the extra details from the press showing:

the hype is back for me.  I think this will be fine.  We have to remember the extreme player counts here and size of these maps.  One of the maps apparently is the size of a PUBG map.  With 128 players, tons of vehicles, levelution, interactive elements, dynamic weather, etc. these specialists will not be able to impact the game on the same level as say a hero in Overwatch, Apex Legends, or Battlefront 2.

It will be the same for PS4 and Xbox One with the 64 player counts.  Anyone on BF4 could testify to that...so much chaos going on and BF 2042 will have even more of it.
