Battlefield Recruitment Thread
Hey all, figured now's as good a time as any to get a clan/platoon recruitment thread going for all those eager beavers chomping at the bit to get their names out there. To start, I'd like to create a basic template for users to refer to - while this doesn't need to be strictly followed 100%, please keep things simple. (Clan Logo) [clan tag] Clan Name About Us - Quick overview of who y'all are and the types of things you like to do in-game and IRL. Are you casual or competitive? What sort of game modes are your favourite and why should that sexy recruit pick you over the others? Social media - Try to limit this to around 3 to reduce clutter/spam - Things like Discord, Twitter, and the like will do nicely. Games & Platforms - The main focus of this thread is for Battlefield titles but feel free to add the0 other types of games you play. - Do you play on PlayStation, Xbox, PC, Mobile, or Stadia? Timezone - Please indicate the clan leader's local timezone and, if you're big into hosting events, a rough time you usually like start. - Refer to https://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/converter.html if you're having trouble converting to your local time. Requirements *** Please refrain from asking for donations - 18+? - Swearing OK? - KD +/- - Mics? (add whatever else you like) Accolades - Completely optional. If you have any in-game accomplishments you're proud of, feel free to share the good news. No modesty here (to a degree); Show new members what they can aspire to. How To Apply - Is there a specific member you would like to have DM'd. Are you fancy and made your own application form? Direct all traffic how you see fit. Small talk/banter is welcomed but to reduce spam, I'd like to ask all Clan Leaders to please keep any propaganda bumps to a weekly limit of 1 to start - we may increase/decrease this down the road but I don't want to make things overly strict.
BF2042: Own PS4 version, can’t play PS5 version (Game intended to be bundled)?
I got Battlefield 2042 on PS4 when the game was free on PS+ in March 2023. I thought by having that I should have the PS5 version as well, but any time I go to download the game it requires me to purchase it again. I attached two screenshots, one proving my ownership of the PS4 version and one where I’m being prompted to buy the game again. Isn’t the game intended to be bundled? Please help. Also, <80 characters for a title is stupid. Thanks.
where to make 10 sniper kills more then 200 meters ?
hy im running out of ideas im sniping away and getting headshots over 200 meters but they dont count up im stuck at 7 is this because it only counts if yoour doing conquest 64 or 126 ?? i m doing solo /co op or do you need to do breaktrough ? and then not solo / co op ? it also does not work on portals at least in my opinion i saw a youtube video and they did conquest solo/co op but i tried the same maybe something changed in the future and was it an old video ?? please help me out what to do and yes i under stand i needs to be a headshot with a sniper over more than 200 meters i played larges maps but no sigar kind regard dogan
Is this really necessary, EA?
So, EA has declined my ban appeal, despite the fact I've been banned wrongfully. We both know that nobody has conducted an investigation under this situation. So, I've contacted a DPO (God bless GDPR Article 15) to request some information in relation to my ban. However, there is something I would absolutely love to know. Am I doing the right thing through these actions? And is it really necessary to actually take these actions just for a proper review?
Impossible To Play As Russia
Hi, i bought the game 3 days ago and i started playing it. I played against real players and against bots and i have no idea why, the game always put me in US Faction, never in the Russia one. I saw that multiple people had the same problem but it still occurs, i did everything, reinstall the game, clean the cache etc and the game always put me in US team. The only way to play Russia is through Portal but there is too much limitations, the worst 2 are that you need to wait "30 mins" (one round) to play as Russia and the second one is that you always start with 2-3 bots less than the other team. How a 60€ game can be as broken as that, it renders 1 faction completely useless since the only way to play it is in Portal but with a lot of limitations. Because yeah, in Portal to get "Moderate XP", you need to change, only the maps, gamemode and "PVP AI", if you enable the "Squad Mix" to fix the balance, the game will switch to "Restricted". The conquest "Solo/Coop" has the "Squad Mix" parameter enabled and you still get "Moderate XP" which again, is completely illogical. I don't know how i can send an email to the developpers directly, i already contacted the support that said that they will investigate but i'm not sure since that bug is still occuring since 3 or 4 months, maybe more.Punch of scammers
Today i thought that i'm going to give a try and play BF2042. So i bought the game, made EA account and started playing. Did tutorial part and were able to play ONLY one Conquest with bots and i was banned. I really though that this new anti cheat team is doing some good here but apparently not. Total of 1h and 8mins of play that i actually really enjoyed. Shame on you EA
Idea for Matchmaking
Im playing Battlefield 2042 a while and i after the release of Battlefield6 i stayed with 2042.But im really bad at Multiplayer so im most of the time in coop,but it is not possibile to get your weapons to T1.So i would find it cool if you could level your weapons and Vehicle and Gadget in coop and first this decision would likely bring back some Players and some Players (me to) would make it happy. So please make it possibile.
Did anyone at DICE actually test Conquest matchmaking in 2025?
Weapon and specialist progression in Battlefield 2042 is fine up to Tier 3 because it can be done against bots. After that, you are forced into PvP matchmaking. The problem is that matchmaking barely works anymore. Not only Conquest, but even Breakthrough often fails to start. You wait for a long time, a few players join, then leave, and the lobby dies again. It genuinely feels like the minimum player requirement is being kept artificially high to reduce server usage in an already low-population game. Why can’t matches start with as few as two players, the same way bot matches work? People who don’t want to wait would actually get into games faster, and those who stay would at least be able to play instead of staring at a matchmaking screen. At this point, preventing people from playing the game they already own feels more damaging than any balance concern. I really hope this isn’t another case of quietly pulling the plug on a dying player base. It may already be late — but actively restricting matchmaking is not how you keep what little life this game still has.battlefield 2042 playlists
I was just wondering not sure why they don't already other than possibly competitive boosting can we get rush as an al time playlist its pretty rare that its available ppl in the portal browser only play against bots there's never really any servers hosting rush game modes.
We need new players , make game free to play for this christmas.
With many major multiplayer titles going free-to-play during the holiday season, this Christmas feels like the perfect opportunity for Battlefield 2042 to do the same. Making the game F2P—even temporarily—would bring in a huge wave of new players, help populate servers across all regions, and give the game a second life when player numbers are clearly struggling. The core gameplay has improved a lot since launch, and a free-to-play period would allow new players to experience that firsthand, rebuild the community, and potentially convert them into long-term players through cosmetics and future content. The peak player count goes to 2500-3000 only , which is a shame for a game franchise like battlefield , please make it free to play for this christmas , so it can boost player count.
