Re: Flickering/Yellow Flash when healing

Hi! I can't post a video here, because the file type (mp4) is not supported but i have posted last year a video on Bf1 sub reddit with the issue. You will notice the yellow flash in the 2nd and 3rd clip. Keep in mind that i have updated drivers and i have tried to tweak settings (Disable HDR, Enable DirectX 12, Tweak AA) without any success. I also watched multiple Bf1 videos to see if Youtubers had the same issue and in some cases they had this bug.

  • @EA_Atic  Yeap did a clean install but that didn't help. The only thing that nearly eliminated the flash, is if i turn all my settings to Ultra. The problem is, that i dont want to play with Ultra Settings due to fps drop so for start i keep on Ultra some settings (like Lighting, Effects, Texture Filtering etc) and most of the other settings on High so i don't have such a performance hit. After a few rounds that i have played i noticed the yellow flash occuring less frequently than before.

@OS_Guy_ Trial an error on that, I have no idea what's causing that flash. My bet its drivers or montiror could even be the HDMI cable.

  • @EA_Atic  Indeed very strange bug. I found the same bug in 4-5 Youtubers videos. They didn't noticed it though! Also while putting everything on Ultra reduces the flash, it still happens on Night maps (like Nivelle Nights).

Because it happened to other people also i don't think that it's the cable or my monitor. My best bet is some clash between Bf1/ Windows 10/ GPU drivers. I further tweaked my in game video settings and although it's still happening, it's less frequent. Thanks for the help.
