Re: Keyboard and mouse on consoles

Hi @5226351983011489 The game doesn't support mouse and keyboard on console I'm afraid (other than for chat). 

Please don't add keyboard and mouse support on ps5 and ps4, it's not fair game against gamepad players. if you want to play on keyboard and mouse, play on pc, on ps5 everyone plays on gamepads. I hope the developers don't make this mistake. i play
Without crossplatform and don't want players with keyboard and mouse playing against me, it's not a fair advantage.

I think this will soon be fixed, yesterday I saw the first cheater playing with the PC players. dude from the spawn shot at me through the rocks and killed me and other players. after that I turned off the possibility of crossplay. but still I pray to god that the developers did not give the opportunity to play on the console with a keyboard and mouse, although I play well on the gamepad, but still keyboard and mouse is an advantage and let people with these devices play with the same people on the computer.

Hey man, it shouldnt be that hard, if theyre allowing M&K then the ones who want to play with m&k will be forced to turn on the crossplay- that way if the crossplay is off, you wont engage any m&k players

It's not nuclear science dude, there are times when you just CAN'T turn off crossplay. When? When the PLAYER BASE it's NOT ENOUGH to find a CONSOLE ONLY LOBBIE.
Who? you may ask... people living in far regions, like South America, Middle East, Australia.. 
The Cheating issue IT'S A PLATFORM ISSUE, not an INPUT METHOD. The cheaters are on PC, not on consoles. You need SOFTWARE to make those cheats, software that DOES NOT WORK on Consoles.

The Hardware Cheat (Like Cronus) does not work either thanks to the Encryption communication between the Console and the controller (at least in PS5).
BUT, If there's no chance to give native support for MnK for console, will just encourage different type of players to BUY those hardware adapters

And then in the same paragraph you say it's unfair to play vs a M&K user. Ehm..what? Are you sure YOU understand what you are saying in the first place? It's starting to look like a bait post I'm afraid.

@FireExhausterDude, I'm not interested in arguing with you anymore, I stand by my opinion. keyboard and mouse support on the console is not needed, later these devices will be used in the game against the gamepad (filtering players by their devices so far probably only words and it is almost impossible, because so far in any game I have not seen)

People who earn their own money, can afford to buy a pc and play there, and they don't think about keyboard and mouse support on the console.Go to work, and earn yourself a new PC.

How do you know filters won't work? Halo uses filter for their ranked mode. It's called input based matchmaking. COD can detect if someone is using a controller or a M&K. So can fortnite and overwatch. The primary requirement of input based matchmaking is to be able to detect who uses a M&K and who uses a gamepad and match them accordingly. It's popular nowadays and while I'm not asking the devs to make input matchmaking for this game (I don't think they will be willing to do that at this stage), the fact that it is used by other more popular games reinforces the point that it is indeed possible to detect and filter M&K console users and then force them into a crossplay lobby. Combine it with the fact that PC has options for both M&K and controller (a proper framework to work with) and crossplay option getting locked out while you start matchmaking, it is very much possible to implement M&K in a fair way and the devs have all the tools to do so. Except maybe confidence.

What you are giving me is not evidence. You're just being paranoid of the worst happening and while I understand why, I guess a fair thing to ask would be ATLEAST a 3 day test with M&K support for consoles (again..crossplay lobby only) and then remove it for investigation. People's eyes will be opened then.

Listen..I don't want to be harsh with you or anyone. But it's frustrating when people just don't take the time to think but instead come up with impulse replies that's filled with emotion and not fact. What I'm asking benefits a lot more people and doesn't negatively impact anyone and this support means the difference between people buying the game or not for plenty of us. I hope you respect that.

With comments like this it' clearly that you are a very limited person.. that's fine. And just to make it clear, because you can't understand what IRONY is, I am very adult, with my own hose, my own family, and my own super car (yes, a super car). It's not that I can't afford a PC, I WON'T buy a 6k USD PC. Hence, my comment to you with your very childish comment "buy a PC then".. it's just lame...
