Sad that EA hadn’t figured it out yet. It’s because the kernel level anticheat was seen as a malicious exploit to  the antivirus.

This method of disabling the antivirus does not work because I disabled all antiviruses a long time ago. I repeat, I tried absolutely every way to fix battlefield 5 and 2042, the games still won’t start. @EA_Vendcera Four days have passed, is ea going to solve this problem?

I was having the same issue with BF 2042, and after closing the Razer Chroma processes the game would start, not with this one. I had to close almost all my background processes and turn off windows defender. This is not acceptable solution. I don't have any cheat software on my PC and no online game complains like this. I don't even get an error saying which software is the issue, as I do in The Finals for autohotkey. Let us know which software is not allowed at least, as I don't want to play a guessing game. And, make your anti cheat antivirus friendly, damn. Incompentent.

My game doesn't start, it just starts the Anti Cheat splash screen and afterwards nothing, the process is running in task manager, but the game doesn't turn on.

Guys, I fixed the game on my own. Battlefield 5 and 2042 now work. I updated my Windows 11 22H2 to 23H2 using the enable package - "KB5027397", and everything worked. You can find it on the microsoft website.

The problem will be elsewhere, still nothing works. I'm surprised EA isn't doing anything.😬

I've Windows 11 Home 23H2 already, and BF5 doesn't work, but BF2042 works fine.

Same with me I even opened a support ticket and when I mentioned other people having the same issue they just said "Oh, those people just just posted and left" Like what is that supposed to mean?

@K0erp3rklaus I have also tried this as well as literally everything in this thread as well as other threads. Still closes on splash screen. If only they were smart enough to at least give us error codes to make fixing this easier.

What worked for me in the end was deleting everything in the BF5 folder except the folder "Data" which amounts to about 700MB, then let the EA app download those files again. Now BF5 works fine without disabling anti-virus or changing anything.
