It's Impossible to Play BF5 anymore because of all the hackers on the server
How can one hacker be playing all day in all the servers, being reported and keep playing, off course this means reporting don't do anything. Are you guys really doing anything? Can't you see that they are ruining this game for all? Soon there is no one else playing this. And only the guys with good pc's can play the new BF2042, since, mine can't I have to play BF5. But because of all this hacking going on, I CAN'T Because they are continuously hacking. I See level 280 hacking, how come this guy is hacking without a problem for so long? I see a lot of speed hacking, they can spawn with the planes or tanks from the other team, they can kill everyone on the server, they can crash the server. BF5 become a Hacking Paradise, is this it? So we normal players can't play proper anymore because they ruining it, I sow a Plane shooting missiles non-stop as it didn't need to rearm... I sow a speed hack guy running around my tank, killing me with his bare hands almost instantly? Tell me how can we enjoy playing this? U ruined this game when u took out the ability to vote ban the hackers on the server with the proper amount of ppl on it, without and admin can be present to administer the server. So it's goodbye for the proper player fans? The end of BF5? PS: I'm very upset for this, and i didn't buy the new BF or would buy anything more from u guys, cause you'ren't doing what the community asks for it...
Servers are (almost) unplayable: lag + stuttering
On top of the ongoing chat bug (for well over 3 weeks now, basically nobody can type/send messages), there’s a new major issue since the last 1–2 days: the servers are almost unplayable. What’s happening: heavy lag constant stuttering / hitching during gameplay This is not limited to one region — it affects both EU and Asian servers, and it happens on community servers as well as official DICE servers.
BFV cannot join any server – stuck on infinite loading screen
Hi, Since today, Battlefield V appears to be completely unplayable. Unable to join any server (infinite black loading screen) Chat works, but the match never starts and eventually disconnects This happens on all servers It’s also impossible to create a local/community server This looks like a global backend issue rather than a client problem. Is this currently being investigated? Thanks.
BFV Spectator Mode Broken
I've made a lot of videos in the Spectator mode, not recently though. So i go to film some stuff today and notice its completely not functioning how it should do, even loaded BF1 and that spectator mode is fine. Don't know when you broke it with an update at some point but please fix it so spectator mode can actually be used correctly.
Armory not Updating.
What happened to the armory? the featured section of the bfv armory used to update. [seasonal item/discounted items would appear time to time] My question is why? from what I’ve seen, this bug is on all platforms. i was wondering if this feature was disabled by ea… or a bug that could simply be fixed. BFV, repeated disconnections from EA servers
Hi everyone, I come here after a problem that I got 1 year ago, I didn't resolved it, and 2 weeks ago (as I recently changed my second HDD I thought I could try one more time) I downloaded again BF5, was able to play 4-5 days then the problem came back. I’ve been having repeated disconnections from EA servers while playing Battlefield V. The error typically says I’ve lost connection to EA servers. This started happening again recently after a period of stable gameplay (about a week where it worked fine). The message is "Unable to connect to the EA servers. Please check your network connection, or try again later. See ea.com/unable-to-connect for additional information." It happen whether in the menu or inside a multiplayer game, not with a specific timing but from 2 min to 10 no more. I'm disconnected, I have the message, and if I'm in a game it made me leave it then I loose my progress, have to search another game etc, it's completely impossible to play. It happen only on BF5, I don't have any problem for streaming, surfing or playing others online games, it's ONLY for Battlefield 5... I tried a lot of things I saw on internet, with some topics or youtube videos, but nothing worked. About my configuration, I have a GTX 1060 6Go, Intel Core I7 6700k, 32Go RAM, 20% free space on my SSD system and 95% free space on my HDD, W10 on the latest version, optical fibre connection. What I’ve already tested/tried: 1) Network & router: -Reset my router and tested both via Wi-Fi and Ethernet. -Removed any repeaters/extenders. -Tried using a mobile 4G hotspot (different network/provider) → same issue. -Ran ipconfig /flushdns, netsh winsock reset, etc. multiple times. -Disabled IPv6 in my network adapter settings. -Verified that the issue is not with my EA account (logged in on another PC at home, no disconnects at all for 15+ minutes). -Ran tracert and ping tests, everything looked normal apart from a few expected timeouts at distant hops. 2) PC-related: -Created a new Windows user account → same issue. -Updated BIOS to the latest version. -Tried updating my network card drivers (Intel I219-V, on ASRock B250M-HDV motherboard) but had compatibility issues and stayed with the current working driver. -Performed a repair/reinstall of the game. -Fully reinstalled Windows 10 (kept my files/programs) → issue persists. -Checked firewall and Windows Defender settings. -Followed advice to allow EA and BFV executables through Controlled Folder Access in Windows Security Ransomware Protection → no improvement. 3) Other checks: -Tested other online games: no issues or disconnections there. -No VPN or special firewall rules in place. -Network works fine for everything else. What it’s probably NOT: -My internet connection (issue persists across different networks and no issue on other PCs). -My EA account (no disconnects when using my account on another machine). -A Windows profile-specific issue. -A simple driver or BIOS version problem (already updated/tested). Extra thoughts: At this point, I’m wondering if it could be something deeper like: -A network stack issue specific to my Windows install, -Some hidden conflict with my hardware or software setup, -Or possibly a rare bug with BFV + EA App on my exact configuration. Do you have any additional troubleshooting ideas or logs you’d like me to provide? Thanks a lot in advance for any help 🙏 Or if you have something like a live logs in game that can help me to see what's happening at the disconnections and maybe determine the problem.
Newest EA anti cheat Javelin causing more headache than EAC EA Anti Cheat
Previously with EAC EA Anti cheat, you could just manually update, allowing Windows Defender to exclude file checking and turning Power Plan to Balanced, in-game problem usually gone or kept at minimum. Now with their latest toy, Battlefield V is almost unplayable, constantly crashing every minute, causing micro stutter and spawning bugs. Oh and not to mention breaking any other device driver. I wonder if this is their way of turning people away from the old games as new installment launch is imminent. There's old adage, A chain is only as strong as its weakest link, and There is no such thing as perfect security, only varying levels of insecurity. To sum it up, making anti cheat more hostile is only driving your fan base away, fast response and tough firm decision to ban all cheater are still best way.Battlefield V is not opening
I'm attaching a video so that you guys can understand the problem. I try to explain it here also - When I try to open the game, the dialogue box opens, and it closes, but the game does not open. And when I check Steam, it shows the game is running and also shows run time, but in reality, I never played the game because it never opens.

Hello, I've played BF V on EA platform for years. I don't have it on Steam. Recently, I purchased the game on Steam on the most recent discounts. If I launch the game, will I have all my progress backed up on Steam from EA? If not, how to get them back? Thank you
Battlefield V – Armory not working for months
Hello EA Support team, I would like to report an ongoing issue with the Armory in Battlefield V. For couple of months and maybe even half a year now, the Armory has not been functioning properly — it no longer provides any weekly bundles, skins, or featured offers, even though this feature used to work consistently before. I completely understand that Battlefield V is no longer receiving new content updates from DICE or EA Games, but the Armory system was a core and working feature of the game, and it should still be maintained. Players are still purchasing Battlefield V and additional content, and the servers remain active, which clearly shows there is still a dedicated and active community supporting the game. Not long ago, there was also an issue where the community servers were not working properly, and that problem was eventually fixed — which proves that there are still people maintaining the backend and keeping the game functional. We hope that the same kind of maintenance can be done for the Armory system as well. As large and successful companies, DICE and EA Games have the responsibility to ensure that existing features, especially those that were part of the original paid product, continue to function properly. Even if no new content is being developed, basic maintenance and functionality of in-game systems like the Armory should still be supported — particularly since the game is still available for sale and players continue to spend money on it. At the moment, the Armory in Battlefield V only displays a static screen with the message “NO SHIPMENTS AVAILABLE” (as shown in the attached screenshot). It no longer provides any bundles, shipments, or weekly items, confirming that the feature is completely non-functional. This issue has persisted for several months and continues to affect many active players who still enjoy and support the game. In the name of Battlefield V players and myself, I kindly ask you to look into this problem. Please investigate this issue or escalate it to the appropriate team within EA or DICE. Restoring the Armory’s functionality would mean a lot to the Battlefield community and show that EA and DICE still care about maintaining the integrity of their games. What do I gotta do to get B5 back? Went black 3/31 between 11 - 11:30pm Arizona time. Turned everything off. The PS4 and my 75 inch tv. PS boots it up to h (Press to continue button. When I push it, nothin. No spinner in the upper right corner. Nothing. What do I gotta do to get back in? Also, possible hack? I was accused of cheating. I wouldn’t know the first goddamn thing about cheating. How do yo cheat through a controller? I know I **bleep** some people off because I **bleep** good in a tank. But come on. These pukes are jealous. Anyway, need guidance on what to do. Money’s a wastin!
Battlefield V on PC: Can EA clarify how cheating reports are handled now?
I want to raise a general concern about cheating in Battlefield V on PC without naming any individual players. A lot of us are still running into matches where the behavior looks extremely suspicious or outright blatant, specially coming from a lot of level 500 players who even show off, and from the player side it often feels like reports lead to no visible action. I understand that accusations against specific users should not be posted publicly, so this is not a naming-and-shaming thread. This is a broader question about the current state of anti-cheat enforcement in BFV. Could EA please clarify a few things? Are in-game cheating reports for Battlefield V still being actively reviewed? Is EA Javelin still being updated or maintained for BFV specifically? If action is being taken, is there any reason players so often feel that obvious cases remain active for long periods? Right now, the biggest issue is not only cheating itself, but the lack of confidence that the system is working in a visible and effective way. Even a brief clarification from EA about report handling and anti-cheat support for BFV would help. I am asking for transparency about the process, not for public action against any named player, no witch hunting, just the reality we find in the game, with more than half of the players in every session cheating and level 500 cheaters even admitting it in the chat (no jokes), and disconnecting human honest players from the server.
