BF5 and all Battlefield games crashes on startup.
As the title says, every battlefield game is crashing on startup. I just installed them, so deleting settings folder doesn't help, reinstalling drivers either. After launch, I only have this screen and then immediately crash.NordoNyle14 minutes agoSeasoned Newcomer162Views1like10CommentsWill My Progress Transfer from EA Play (Xbox Game Pass) to Steam?
Hi everyone, I currently have Battlefield V through EA Play via Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, but I’m planning to cancel my subscription. Instead, I’m considering buying the Definitive Edition of Battlefield V on Steam. Will my progress, unlocks, and cosmetics carry over if I purchase the Steam version, as long as I connect it to the same EA account I’m currently using? From what I understand, progress is tied to the EA account rather than the platform, but I’d like some clarification before making the purchase. Is this assumption correct? Do I need to take any extra steps to make sure everything transfers smoothly? Thanks in advance for any help, I just want to make sure I don’t lose all my progress when switching from EA Play to Steam!7Views0likes0CommentsBattlefield V crashing when I load into a match
I open the game, go to multiplayer community servers, and when I join (after the loading screen) the game crashes. This problem started happening a couple of weeks ago. I have tried: repairing the game re-rolling drivers to an earlier version (the latest driver was dated 24 July 2025) lowering graphics settings I am running Win 11, nVidia GTX 4060. BF 4 runs ok still.enfield565 hours agoSeasoned Newcomer84Views0likes5CommentsI can't launch Battlefield V.
I launch Battlefield 5 normally, and the process goes smoothly. But after being in fullscreen for a while, it just freezes and crashes back to the desktop. The game closes too, and every time it crashes, three files get deleted. I found out by verifying the integrity through Steam.SolvedStanlenkensaul9 hours agoRising Novice53Views1like4CommentsThere are no tasks for support soldiers, commandos, medics and scouts

Update (Edited: 06-08-2025): Even BF6's open beta loads fine on the same PC—just 50 seconds from clicking "Play" to reaching the main menu. Update (Edited: 30-07-2025): Performed a clean reinstall of Windows 11 and the game still takes over two minutes to load. A friend of mine with a different setup is experiencing the same issue. I suspect the problem is related to the anti-cheat or the game itself. I’ve attached a screen recording to this forum post showing the problem, including an on-screen stopwatch and Task Manager for reference. Original Post: For EA Staff & Devs Bug Report ID: 6ad91d36-9f32-4e49-98f0-e1c42c510896 Help Case ID: #215668482 I recently updated the BIOS and Windows on my Omen 16 laptop. Everything seemed to be running smoothly—until I noticed that launching BF5 now takes significantly longer than it used to. Only BF5 is affected, I timed it with a stopwatch and the startup consistently takes around 2.5 minutes. The other games' load time from pressing play till it enters full-screen are: BF3 = 12 seconds BF4 = 16 Seconds BF1 = 40 Seconds Issue description: After clicking Play in the EA App, the EA Anti-Cheat launches and initializes normally. Once the Anti-Cheat finishes, there's a 30-33 second delay before the game window appears. The game remains in small window and shows a black screen for another 50-60 seconds. Eventually, the game maximizes into a full-screen window and loads the title screen. Once fully open, the game runs fine, except it loads map extremely slowly as well. Here's what I've tried so far: Confirmed that Windows and NVIDIA drivers are fully up to date. Repaired, reinstalled, and cleared the cache for both the EA App and BF5. Ran both the EA App and BF5 with administrator privilege and in clean boot mode. Ran both the EA App and BF5 on a different SSD, ensure SSD firmware are up to date. Performed a reinstall of the NVIDIA driver using DDU; cleared DirectX and NVIDIA GL caches. Reinstalled Windows using the "Fix problems with Windows Update" in-place upgrade. Reset BIOS to default settings, did a CMOS reset too. Unfortunately, none of these steps have resolved the issue, and I’m starting to run out of ideas. Has anyone else experienced this? I’d appreciate any tips or suggestions. For reference (especially if any DICE developers are reading this), here’s the BIOS and Windows update I installed, not sure which is causing the trouble: https://support.hp.com/nz-en/drivers/swdetails/omen-by-hp-16.1-inch-gaming-laptop-16-k0000/model/2101129710/swItemId/ob-348379-1 https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/topic/june-26-2025-kb5060829-os-build-26100-4484-preview-e31ba7c2-ff65-4863-a462-a66e30840b1a I’ve also attached my DxDiag file to this post in case it’s helpful.OJSU14 hours agoRising Novice589Views1like2CommentsBFV not starting (LSX Server? Port 3216)
I'm sometimes able to launch BFV once after a fresh windows/origin/bfv. But after 1 reboot it always breaks. When I click play, I see bfv.exe process for a few seconds in task manager and then get back into Origin or EA Desktop (I tried both). I have tried a lot of suggestions and nothing worked, apart from complete reinstall (and even then I need some luck). Attached you find the EA Desktop logfile (Line 1-29 is EA Desktop starting. After Line 29 I clicked PLAY for BFV) The following error is interesting: ERROR (Origin::SDK::Lsx::Server::listenTcp) [Legacy] [ERROR] LSX server failed to listen to port 3216 It's failing to listen on port 3216. This port is not in use by any process and I gave full firewall access to EADesktop in windows firewall (Its also running as admin). You can also see that there is some license issue, this logfile is the same each time I try to execute BFV. I monitored bfv.exe with ProcMon, and I see that it is trying to do TCP connections to 127.0.0.1:3216. It is trying to connect to this LSX server. After many failed attempts, the process closes. The bfv.exe process is not even trying to read any PROFSAVE files or launch GUI window / GPU threads. It starts, reads dlls and some registry, and then fails to connect to 127.0.0.1:3216 and closes. Any advice is appreciated. Thanks.Solved9.7KViews0likes6CommentsEA App : "You don't have Access" Battlefield V on Steam
Hi, I have a question about Battlefield V. I just bought it on Steam two days ago. After downloading it, I can't play the game because the EA app says "You don't have access," even though my Steam and EA accounts are clearly linked. I've tried several tutorials on YouTube and methods my friends have given me, but it still doesn't work. Can anyone help me? I'm really stuck on this.25Views0likes0Commentsdiasbled account help
hello, i bought a ps5 recently after not having used a console in several years and it wont let me play online, Ive reset the password but when I try to link my account to the psn its linked to an email address that shows its a disabled account. i have reached out to support but cant get ahold of anyone, I cant find a chat bot option and now i'm stuck with a new console and games i cant play. i just paid for a year of PSN so i dont want to have to make a new PSN account as it would be a waste of money and would mean having to re buy the games. i think it may be linked to an old email from highschool back in the battlefield 4 days but i would have lost that email years ago. ive sent the emails, tried to find the chatbot but every link brings me to a 404 page. is there anything i can do??mapleman5523 hours agoSeasoned Newcomer51Views0likes8Comments- qswrr24 hours agoNewcomer21Views0likes1Comment
Tactical Conquest servers are not spinning up in North America.
For the last couple of weeks, tactical servers are not spinning up in North America. I can start a tactical server community game but can't get a normal DICE server to start. When going into PLAY>MULTIPLAYER>TACTICAL CONQUEST LIST GAMES, no tactical conquest servers show up in NA. When hitting PLAY to attempt to spin one up, I will get randomly assigned to different game modes in different regions. Last time I tried to start a TACTICAL CONQUEST server in North America I was placed into a BREAKTHROUGH game in Europe.SourceError24 hours agoSeasoned Rookie341Views3likes14CommentsThere are no tasks for support soldiers, commandos, medics and scouts

As a result, I have repurchased the game on a different platform where the correct language is supported. Therefore, I kindly request that the original Battlefield V be removed from my account library.
