Battlefields story
Hello dears, I have a question about the whole concept of Battlefield. I started playing Battlefield 2 on patch 1.41. That will be a quarter of a century. What has remained since then. Apart from my obtaining a triple purple heart. There is a constant presence of cheaters in the game. (feel free to send me links to how many times this has been discussed here) Could, in addition to the constant development of game graphics, a decent anti-cheats protection also be addressed? By the way, Battlefield V is very beautifully done in terms of graphics and music in the game. You have my great admiration and respect. Just so I don't write criticism. Today, AI tells me a lot of things (I know it's not perfect) and admins on servers can't be still online. Why isn't AI deployed on these players too? Is it unrealistic? Why has this situation been going on for decades?
Anyone solve for missing war stories letters since the change from Origin to EA?
Hey all, Been playing BFV since it was new, but decided to stop farting around and solve all the challenges and collect all the letters for the War Stories. I have all letters save for 3, (1 Nordlys and 2 Tirallieur). I have collected them, and as such the locations no longer spawn the letter. However all teh workarounds are from when the Origin app was in use. The directory structure for the game and associated settings for cloud vs local saves are no longer applicable. Anybody else know how to resolve this for PC in 2025? Thanks peeps
EA Javelin Anticheat cuts sound on Focusrite Scarlett Solo Mk4
I cannot find a specific EA Anticheat bug report forum around here so here it goes: As a symptom it starts in about 10-15 seconds after the game is normally loaded, the game freezes for a split second and the sound gets turned off, unplugging the sound card (Focusrite Scarlett Solo Mk4) brings back the sound but i lose the ability to use VOIP (can't talk cannot hear anybody). As stated in the title, the EA Javelin Anticheat is blocking my soundcard from functioning properly, i have been in touch with the Focusrite support department and troubleshooting my issue that started about 1-2 weeks ago and we have concluded that the EA anticheat system is cutting my sound. Uninstalling the Focusrite drivers does not cut the sound anymore, this was not an issue in the past till few weeks ago. Starting the game and End Tasking the EA Javelin Anticheat system (the blue icon process, the process without icon is the actual game and it will shut down the game) during the loading of Battlefield V doesn't cause the sound to cut off anymore. For now i have only 2 solutions: uninstall the Focusrite drivers or use task manager to End Task that process during the loading of the game.

There is a big blank page when it should be filled with interface icons to click on. Also the game servers randomly shut down even if they are full. and Platoon tags randomly not showing on players who would otherwise have them on all the time. AND ALSO getting could not fetch user ID report.

EA AntiCheat has detected an incompatible driver. Please update or disable 'c:\windows\syswow64\drivers\asrdrv101.sys' and restart. (119) I just bought BF V yesterday and when i tried to launch the game i got the error Can someone help me fix this -How to update the driver? -It is safe to uninstall it ? -How to uninstall it?
Tactical Conquest servers are not spinning up in North America.
For the last couple of weeks, tactical servers are not spinning up in North America. I can start a tactical server community game but can't get a normal DICE server to start. When going into PLAY>MULTIPLAYER>TACTICAL CONQUEST LIST GAMES, no tactical conquest servers show up in NA. When hitting PLAY to attempt to spin one up, I will get randomly assigned to different game modes in different regions. Last time I tried to start a TACTICAL CONQUEST server in North America I was placed into a BREAKTHROUGH game in Europe.
Newest EA anti cheat Javelin causing more headache than EAC EA Anti Cheat
Previously with EAC EA Anti cheat, you could just manually update, allowing Windows Defender to exclude file checking and turning Power Plan to Balanced, in-game problem usually gone or kept at minimum. Now with their latest toy, Battlefield V is almost unplayable, constantly crashing every minute, causing micro stutter and spawning bugs. Oh and not to mention breaking any other device driver. I wonder if this is their way of turning people away from the old games as new installment launch is imminent. There's old adage, A chain is only as strong as its weakest link, and There is no such thing as perfect security, only varying levels of insecurity. To sum it up, making anti cheat more hostile is only driving your fan base away, fast response and tough firm decision to ban all cheater are still best way.
One useful advice for pilots
If you play BF V as a pilot and enemy planes are behind you and you can't drop them, then try to do something.. If you're next to borders of a map and some enemy planes are behind you, you can fly right through the borders and do different maneuvers there until time in the center of your screen is 8-9 seconds after which you should fly to the map again. It's comfortable to do this operation if your plane has radar that spots enemy planes, so you can see when you have dropped them and return to the combat zone right away and shoot them. I have used this tactical maneuver many times on a Japanese airplane and it works perfectly - there were no enemy planes who wanted to follow me after 6-8 seconds in the not combat zone. Well, if you like to be a pilot, you can try this operation and test the tactics.
