With the portal parameter settings we can fiddle around with, we can make servers that fully replicate the classic 'hardcore mode' and such server will also be ranked and count towards player soldier's ranking up their XP and weapon experience. EA will provide standard templates for the servers in the Portal. So I hope/expect that they will also provide the standard for hardcore mode in this connection, as they also do for like Large Conquest, etc. And it is only if you then decide to fiddle around with diversion from the HC standard that your server there will be tagged as 'custom mode'. So expect to be able to search also for servers with the tag identifying them as hardcore.

We already had such server presets in the past when we sat up our own servers, so expect EA to replicate what was already working well back then!
