Re: Ray-Traced Ambient Occlusion = OFF and Stutter is Gone...

ive got the same thing but on a 3070. At launch ray tracng caused the game to be completely unplayable with the screen being completely made up of crazy multicolored artifacts. They released a patch that "fixed" it. But  it still runs like absolute garbage with ray tracing turned on.

@Interceptr83 sadly it doesn't even work with an RTX 3090 OC on Water...i tried to put ALL Settings and Mid, High and Ultra and it's exactly the same. I think that the engine is using the CPU for Ray Traced Ambien Oclussion, or at least a part of it, that's why the CPU usage is so high even with the bests processors around. Maybe they did this to be ok with consoles, but...they will have to review it because they are killing PC users. I could isolate the issue on just that from dozens of "tweaks" that mostly all work only for 1080p and i run 3840x1600. Game is smooth as silk now and it doesn't look bad at all, for this i'm happy but they should fix it, or at least i hope so.

    All the Best, Sergio!
