Ranked Game-Breaking Exploit Allowing Free Wins
We’ve encountered a game-breaking ranked exploit several times where players are able to farm wins without actually playing the match. We’ve already lost games because of this.We would be the final squad alive, with no other players left in the game, but the counter in the top right still shows two squads alive. One of the exploiters appears to stay alive in the fire/storm indefinitely, preventing the match from ending properly.I believe I understand how the exploit is being done, but I don’t want to post the method publicly for obvious reasons. Could an admin or developer please reach out to me privately so I can share the details responsibly?
What happened with the bullet drop on 2042?
So decided to play with a friend of mine and he does not have bf6 yet so we play 2042, mid game we both quit because we got bored due to fact it seems now like CoD, no bullet drop, players don't die when shot multiple time with sws, and even at 1200+ meters I hold my crosshairs dead on and still hit my target when I use to have to compensate for bullet drop, please dice, ea and other developers DO NOT TURN BATTLEFIELD IN TO CALL OF DUTY!!!!!!, yall already gave bf a CoD vibe with all those dumb add ones, and battle passes, steer clear from CoD vibes, 90% of the community hates it.
Breakthrough Returns to Main Menu After Match Found
There is a serious issue with breakthrough on PS5, Xbox and PC. I and others have been unable to connect to a game of breakthrough (offical server) on the main menu. It finds a game, counts down, fades to black and then eventually returns you to the main menu. For me all other game modes work without issue, but others have reported the same bug with conquest. There are two other posts on this forum with the same issue and a post on Reddit where others are stating they're experiencing the same issue as well. I've tested and confirmed the issue on my PS5 (local install & streaming) and Xbox Series X consoles, both with two different accounts and tried uninstalling and reinstalling to no avail. Please can this be looked in to as a matter of urgency. (I literally only play breakthrough) (cm edit updated title for vis)
The game does not start due to Easy Anti Cheat.
I've been fighting this problem for two days now. After the update to the ugly fourth season, the game DOES NOT LAUNCH AT ALL. THERE ARE NO ERRORS TO UNDERSTAND WHAT IS GOING ON. Easy anti-cheat turns on, then turns off after 5-10 seconds, and the EA APP window opens again. No mistakes. Nothing. Just Silence. Here's what I did: I reinstalled the game 2 times (on different SSDs). Reinstalled Easy Antichit. Reinstalled C++ components from version 2008 to the latest. Reinstalled ALL drivers in the operating system (processor, motherboard, video / audio drivers, network card, etc.) REMOVED AND INSTALLED AGAIN - ALL UPDATES for Windows 11. REMOVED AND INSTALLED AGAIN - ALL WINDOWS COMPONENTS! Cleaned Windows Registry to a shine, as if ea app and games from EA had never been on the computer. Deleted all files and folders related to EA APP and BATTLEFIELD. I downloaded the Windows 11 image from the Microsoft website and again installed the system "on top" of the system that I had. I WORKED WITH THIS PROBLEM for more than 20 hours. NOTHING HELPED AFTER YOUR UPDATE. Why should I, having paid OVER $100 pre-order for a game, have to constantly look for solutions to run your game, while everyone else is playing normally.
BF 2042 Conquest only certain maps working
Looks like I'm having the same issue a lot of other folks are having. I'm on PC and when I try joining Conquest only certain maps work for me. If I try to play Reclaimed or Valpairiso I get the map loading music but it goes black after 5 seconds it kicks me back to the lobby. In the beginning I got an error code and the load music would keep playing even though I was back in the lobby. Now I don't even get an error code anymore, it just boots me back to lobby as if nothing happened. It's been very frustrating.
BF2042 Black Screen & Return to Menu After Update (Solo/TDM Work)
After the latest Battlefield 2042 update, I started having a strange problem on PC. When I try to join large multiplayer modes like Conquest 64/128, the map starts loading, then the screen freezes for a few seconds and the game sends me back to the main menu without any error message. Important details: - Solo/Co-op works perfectly - Team Deathmatch multiplayer works - I can also join some servers through the server browser - The problem mostly happens on large Conquest matches/maps - Before today's update everything worked perfectly - The game runs very well on Ultra settings, often above 180 FPS, but I manually capped it to 100 FPS - Temperatures are normal - Other games work normally - No BSOD, no GPU crashes, no overheating What I already tried: - Reinstalled EA Anti Cheat - Verified game files - Disabled overlays - Restarted PC - Cleared cache - Tested low graphics settings System: - ASUS TUF A16 - RTX 4050 Laptop GPU - 16 GB RAM - Windows 11 Is anyone else experiencing this after the latest update?
Xbox to EA Play linking fails
Hi, I have the following issue, that I know is not unique... Login to Xbox on a PC, select Game Pass: shows issues with any EA Play game, account linking error. Login to EA account: shows no Xbox link in place, click on link account, receive an error that an Xbox account is already linked. Go to the Xbox account: remove the link with EA, go back to the EA account and try the account linking on again, and receive the same error that a link is already in place. Tried to contact EA support, there is only a chat bot with no means of getting human support. I contacted Xbox support, and because it's EA account linking, then EA need to reset it. Looks like the issue has returned. Can't enter a HZ game (not even the lobby) since 6 hours. every attempt gets me in the same discarded map lobby with infinite loading screen, not a crash (audio and loading icons audible and visible) Tried, 1. Disabling crossplay 2. Restarting PC/Steam/ea app 3. Recovering ea app and deleting download cache Nothing has fixed it. Please fix this seemingly server-side issue. Quick Play matchmaking is broken. After the countdown reaches 0, the screen goes black for a second and the game returns me back to the lobby/menu instead of joining the match. Server Browser works normally and I can join servers manually without problems. Things I already tried: * Enabling/disabling crossplay * Restarting game and EA App * Repairing/verifying game files * Reinstalling EA AntiCheat * Clearing EA App cache * Deleting/resetting Battlefield 2042 config folder * Changing DNS * Flushing DNS * Disabling overlays (Discord, EA, NVIDIA, MSI Afterburner/Rivatuner) * Running game as administrator * Trying different game modes * Network reset Issue still continues. Looks like many other players are having the same matchmaking problem right now.
Matchmaking issues - Connection fails after countdown (Battlefield 2042)
Hello, I am writing to report a recurring issue with matchmaking in Battlefield 2042 that has been happening for the past couple of days. Every time I try to join any online game mode, the matchmaking process starts and the countdown completes. However, as soon as a match is found, the screen goes black for a few seconds and then I am automatically kicked back to the main menu. I have only managed to join a match a handful of times, and it seems to happen completely at random. Most of the time, I am unable to play. Could you please look into this or let me know if there is a known fix? Thank you.Matchmaking not working.
Yes that's about 20 days. We all understood matchmaking is not working properly or can't play what he want to play. What about EA support? What did they do and is there any info for us ? When will the problem solved? Is there any official patch soon? Or all the players must pay for the BF6?

Im not doing anyone of your work around again they are stupid and shouldnt be required for the customer to fix the product thats supposed to be WORKING cant matchmake into conquest and sometimes if i do i can only play for 1 game then it boots u to main menu when trying to load into the next game this is not a system issue this is an issue on your end other have the same issue with other gamemodes as well this is clearly an issue on your endThe latest version of EA anticheat is required to play
I was playing Battlefield (BF2042) 2042 just fine the other night when I got this error. Security Breach (Upper left corner of pop up window). The body read: The latest version of EA anticheat is required to play. Please see: https://help.ea.com/help/pc/ea-anticheat/ on how to update to latest version. (136) I tried the above link and that did not work in any way shape or form. I did this several times without luck. I did the whole empty cache and app recovery. No luck. I uninstalled the EA app and battlefield 2042. One would think a fresh installation would install the required updated version of EA's anticheat. That was a HARD NO. Windows updates: everything is and was up to date and drivers are up to date. I can play any other game from any other platform with no issues whatsoever. Question: Why the hell am I the one having to manually do an update for ES's anticheat software? This seems to be something that is your job. I paid for a service and have to manually fix your garbage. Nah, makes absolutely zero cents. I know I'm coming across as abrasive but this isn't just about not being able to play a game. Just like EA, it's about money. The most important thing on this planet. This is a waste of money.

Aww, isn't that convenient? The seemingly only way to contact the actual company we're paying happens to not be working (for ages already by the way). What a shame, now the customers have to talk amongst each others to try and fix EA's **bleep**. If anyone from EA does happen to read this: remove the **bleep** notification icons from the loadout menu, they're bugged out and have become a useless nuisance. Get rid of them. Thank you!
