Dear EA Support, I would like to report a critical compatibility issue between Battlefield 2042 and the latest AMD Adrenaline drivers (version 25.5.1). and it seems many players have the same problem. After updating to this driver version, the game consistently crashes during mid-game death scenes, making it unplayable. The only current workaround is to roll back to an older driver version, which is not ideal for users who require the latest updates for other applications or titles. I kindly request that the development team investigate this matter and release an update or patch to ensure Battlefield 2042 runs properly with the latest AMD drivers. Thank you for your attention to this matter. Best regards, DragoGreeceDragoGreece6 hours agoSeasoned Newcomer3.4KViews52likes51CommentsHelp needed from mod or dev
At the moment i am struggling to get kills and here is the main reason, i shoot something but do not kill the player it is becoming exceedingly difficult to enjoy the game. Could some reach out to me as i feel this is a major issue for me at least. My ping is 7ms so it's not that. https://youtu.be/bfk8U-ZdPXAHumpsterJ11 hours agoNew Scout6Views0likes0CommentsFalse Driver Version 0.0.0 in BF1 & BFV with AMD 24.3.2
While playing Battlefield 2042, I encountered a critical bug where the game consistently crashes and exits upon death. After researching on Bilibili, I confirmed this is caused by AMD GPU drivers (my current version: 25.6.1). The solution was downgrading to a driver version prior to 24.4.1. I successfully installed version 24.3.2, which resolved the Battlefield 2042 issue. However, when attempting to launch Battlefield V and Battlefield 1, both games displayed my driver version as "0.0.0" and demanded an upgrade to at least v16.x. Reinstalling driver 24.4.1 failed to fix this new problem – the same error persists in Battlefield V and Battlefield 1, though Battlefield 2042 and Battlefield 4 remain playable.114bottle18 hours agoSeasoned Newcomer36Views0likes2Comments- 32Views0likes0Comments
Unable to Load Persistence Data
EDIT: Game is playable for now. Get back in there gamers. Affecting multiple maps and modes (tested Breakthrough and Conquest 64). Had played about 3-5 matches of Breakthrough prior to error starting so wasnt a weird launch of the game. No abnormal network issues of note, everything was fine up until error started presenting itself Restarting game ineffective. Will update with other troubleshoot steps. EDIT: PC restart ineffective EDIT 2: So I'm an IT guy on-call this weekend and within MINUTES of all this starting I'm getting work calls saying various services are down. Possible a partner/provider is having issues. Might just be a coincidence but interesting nonetheless and my only real lead atm. EDIT 3: Issue is global according to comments we got just about ever corner of the world hit. Downdetector shows its a huge all EA thing. All we can do is wait gents. EDIT 4: Steam downloads for me are also incredibly limited. My networks a 500mbps setup, but steam has me limited to 64 on downloading content. More evidence to back up something way beyond DICE or EA is going on. Steam stabilized, but still worth considering and might be evidence.Chris_Hawkner24 hours agoRising Vanguard2.3KViews22likes54Comments1-3 SEC FREEZES EVERY 10 SEC! The bug: After enabling Secure Boot on my PC post the update that made this a requirement for EA Anticheat, starting the game (and the anticheat) resulted in a BSOD with the error stating "attempted to write to read only memory". The investigation: I updated Windows 10 to the latest version, updated my graphics card drivers and checked to see if there were any corrupted system drivers (the usual cause for this BSOD). I repaired the Anticheat using their installer and none of these things solved the problem. I went ahead and ran an analysis on the memory dump file that windows generates after a blue screen and low and behold there were no corrupted drivers causing this issue... except for eaanticheat.sys. The solution: Enabling Settings > Windows Security > Device Security > Core Isolation Details > Memory Integrity prevents malware from inserting malicious code into high security processes, also prevents EA Anticheat from attempting to insert it's code into read only memory where it does not belong and circumvents the BSOD. (note in order to enable this setting some older drivers may need to be removed from your system if they are incompatible). After speaking with EA Support I learned that Memory Integrity is in fact, not an official requirement for this game, so this is indeed a bug. Considering the danger of messing around with highly secure kernel layer memory EA Absolutely needs to fix this immediately.29Views0likes1CommentWheeled warrior not popping
Hello! I would love to be able to get the platinum of this game and wheeled warrior is my last trophy missing and even although I have completed the requirements and obtained T1 with LATV4 and Pondhawk didn’t get no trophy yet. I will keep playing this amazing get and eventually get more vehicles to T1 but is there anything that can be done about it? I have tried several ways to try to unlock it like launching random games, getting them to level 41 or waiting some days and nothing seems to work. Any advice or fixed on this matter would help a lot. I know other people have the same issue.Braccial2 days agoSeasoned Newcomer2.4KViews25likes69Comments- Skullsies3 days agoNew Novice13Views0likes0Comments

drweblwf.sys driver in EA blacklist
Hello! I am an official employee of DrWeb Ltd., a developer of antivirus solutions headquartered in Moscow, Russia. Since last fall, our technical support has been receiving numerous reports from users about the impossibility of launching various EA games, and in particular the game Battlefield 2042, in the presence of our antivirus. One of the EA components, most likely the anti-cheat, reports the presence of the drweblwf.sys driver in the system, after which it completely refuses to launch the game with a proposal to disable or remove this driver from the system. The exact error message - "This software cannot be used at the same time as the game. Please make sure it's not running, or restart your PC. (error_number): Dr.Web (drweblwf.sys)". Apparently, our driver was blacklisted by the EA anti-cheat for an unknown reason. This driver is one of the main drivers of the antivirus and cannot be simply removed from its composition without losing the antivirus functionality. This driver cannot be simply deleted, disabled or suspended. There are various workarounds that allow the user to bypass this problem, for example, temporarily renaming the driver, but none of these ways are acceptable for solving the main problem. Users are forced to either completely remove the antivirus or engage in numerous manual manipulations, losing protection. Or, among other things, refuse EA games, which I have also seen in my practice. In other words, this situation is not beneficial to either company and harms reputation, as well as commercial harm. The reason I am creating this topic is that I was unable to establish official contact with EA on this issue through any of the channels I was able to find. I have contacted technical support many times with different breaks, but EA technical support, unfortunately, is not competent in solving this problem. Most of the answers were templates, had nothing to do with the question and expressed a complete lack of understanding of the essence of the situation. I also tried to contact the EA PR service and some of the managers directly, but I also didn’t get a response. In my last conversation with EA support, an employee advised me to create a topic in this thread of the EA forum, which is what I am doing. I don`t think that these issues should be resolved in principle within the framework of technical support and especially in the public area, but apparently EA does not have other known B2B communication channels or a way to establish these communications between managers and developers. This is certainly frustrating, but I do not lose hope that I will find solutions to this problem that will help our users get rid of this problem. Since most of our users are Russian-speaking, the problem is mainly discussed in the Russian-language branch of the EA forum. In particular, the most popular topic is located here - https://forums.ea.com/discussions/battlefield-2042-ru/не-запускается-игра-ошибка-104-dr-web-drweblwf-sys/7040181 But in reality, our products are distributed all over the world and we have received feedback from our users from different parts of the world(US, IT, FR, BR, etc.) who complain about the impossibility of launching the game in the presence of our antivirus. At that moment, we are talking about hundreds of users who have encountered this problem in one way or another. The problem is that our company did not take any steps to cause this problem. We do not know the reasons why EA unilaterally adds legitimate drivers of antivirus solutions to its blacklist. But most importantly, we cannot find out these reasons, because we cannot establish any normal communication with the developers or EA managers who could enter into a dialogue with us on this problem. If EA developers had any complaints about our driver, they could have told us about it so that we could come to a solution together. But apparently, instead, it was decided to simply add the driver to the blacklist. This whole situation smells very bad. I honestly doubt that creating this thread will help solve this problem, but at least I tried. Maybe for the last time.43Views0likes2CommentsCamera broken Lis rocket vehicles in Solo/Co-op

As seen at Conquest 64 Hardcore Event: Multiple Issues | EA Forums - 12350663 Just played Conquest 64 Hardcore in Richtersfeld. Tickets were 2000 vs 2000. It was mostly a BOT-controlled match for both teams. When our team was losing by whatever reasons and whenever i noticed our tickets at 1600 already VS 1900 enemy Tickets, our tickets were decreasing by any second. Whenever enemy Team had still more than 1900 Tickets left, we lost more than 1500 (!!!) tickets in about 30 seconds!!! Never seen such a critical bug yet !!N3tRunn3r3 days agoSeasoned Adventurer34Views0likes2CommentsRules Editor Creating Multiple Map Server
Hi Guys: So to just cut to the quick here's my question. Does anybody in here know how the rules editor works? I've used the rules editor to make some pretty good modified maps. However, it works for only one map at a time. I want to start a server that as the maps goes to the next map I want it to load the particular rules editor modifications for each of those maps. But the rules editor is tricky. And so far I've had no luck getting that to work. It's like trying to decipher ancient hieroglyphs. Anyway, if any of you have a proficiency with the rule editor I could use your help. Hello. A few hours ago I created a post describing a technical issue. A few minutes later the link to it became unavailable. At first I thought that the post was being moderated or had simply been moved, but no matter how hard I tried, I couldn't find it anywhere. In the profile, I only see a mention of this post in "Follows & Notifications" block. The topic was created here - https://forums.ea.com/discussions/battlefield-2042-technical-issues-en/drweblwf-sys-driver-in-ea-blacklist/12352353 Can I find out the reason why this topic is unavailable? If I violated any rules, I would like to know which ones exactly, so that I can recreate the topic without violating. No one wrote to me about this, and there is no information about what happened to this post. Thanks in advance.Solved56Views0likes1CommentSOLUTION: How to enable Secure Boot on Gigabyte Motherboard
Enabling Secure Boot on Gigabyte Z590 Motherboard: Complete Guide Secure Boot is an important security feature that ensures your system only boots with trusted software. For Gigabyte Z590 motherboard users, enabling Secure Boot requires several preparatory steps and careful configuration in the BIOS. This comprehensive guide will walk you through the entire process. Prerequisites for Enabling Secure Boot Before enabling Secure Boot on your Gigabyte Z590 motherboard, you need to ensure several system requirements are met: UEFI Mode: Your system must be running in UEFI mode, not Legacy BIOS mode 7 GPT Partition Style: Your boot drive must use GPT (GUID Partition Table) rather than MBR (Master Boot Record) 7 14 Updated BIOS: Ensure you have the latest BIOS version installed for your motherboard 12 TPM 2.0 Enabled: Windows 11 requires TPM 2.0 (though Secure Boot itself doesn't require it) 16 Step 1: Check Current Secure Boot Status Before making any changes, verify your current Secure Boot status: Press Win + R, type msinfo32, and press Enter In System Information, look for: Secure Boot State (should show "Off" initially) BIOS Mode (must say "UEFI") 7 Step 2: Verify Disk Partition Style Secure Boot requires GPT partition style: Press Win + X and select Disk Management Right-click your boot disk > Properties > Volumes tab Check "Partition style" - must be "GUID Partition Table (GPT)" 7 If your disk is MBR, you'll need to convert it to GPT before proceeding. Backup your data first as this process may erase your disk. Step 3: Enter BIOS Setup Restart your computer During startup, repeatedly press the Delete key to enter BIOS 16 Press F2 to switch to Advanced Mode if needed 16 Step 4: Disable Compatibility Support Module (CSM) Secure Boot cannot be enabled while CSM is active: Navigate to the BIOS tab Find CSM Support (may be under Boot options) Set CSM Support to Disabled 7 12 Save changes and exit (F10) Re-enter BIOS to continue configuration 12 Step 5: Enable TPM 2.0 (Optional for Windows 11) For Intel processors on Z590: Navigate to Settings > Miscellaneous or Peripherals Find Intel Platform Trust Technology (PTT) Set to Enabled 16 Save changes (F10) Step 6: Enable Secure Boot Now you can enable Secure Boot: Navigate to the BIOS tab Find Secure Boot option (may be under Security tab) Set Secure Boot to Enabled 7 If prompted about Platform Keys (PK), select Install Default Secure Boot Keys 12 Save changes and exit (F10) Note: Some systems may require you to first set Secure Boot Mode to "Custom", restore factory keys, then switch back to "Standard" mode 14 Step 7: Verify Secure Boot is Active After rebooting: Press Win + R, type msinfo32, and press Enter Check that Secure Boot State now shows "On" 7 14 Troubleshooting Tips If you encounter issues: Black screen on boot: Likely indicates your disk is still MBR - convert to GPT 14 Secure Boot option greyed out: Ensure CSM is completely disabled 12 Error about Platform Keys: Install default Secure Boot keys 12 Windows won't boot: You may need to disable Secure Boot temporarily to access recovery options Important Notes Enabling Secure Boot is not strictly required for Windows 11 installation (the system just needs to support it) 14 Some older operating systems or hardware may not work with Secure Boot enabled Certain games (like Valorant) require Secure Boot for their anti-cheat systems 14 By following these steps carefully, you should successfully enable Secure Boot on your Gigabyte Z590 motherboard, adding an important layer of security to your system.lNAPPROPRlATE4 days agoSeasoned Veteran693Views1like4Comments
