AN-94 Sound Bug
Hello, I have experienced several deaths from the AN-94. Every time I hear no shots and also no sound from being hit. I know I’m being hit as my health bar diminishes but other than that it is a silent death. A few others have experienced this on Reddit so I hoped to share and get fixed. Thanks!7Views0likes1CommentCross progression not working.
So both my Xbox an Pc accounts are linked under the same email, I've played 2042 mostly on xbox. Yet when I've downloaded the game on pc. None of my progression has crossed over whatsoever. Back to level 1 with no unlocks or change of stats. Any idea on how to fix this would be highly appreciated!omgitsdedsec6 hours agoSeasoned Newcomer44Views0likes4CommentsRecurrent Conection error PS5
Hi guys I'm opening this topic because I've been disconnected from the game for two weeks now. I've tried changing lot of things on ps5 connection, openned the game's ports in modem but anythings works. It's not easy to find it to send an email to support. In the game doesn't show any network errors during the game and i have habilited to show it and I'm abruptly disconnected. I've checked my internet with my provider and it's not because its ok. I have 1GB of speed and it's stable. I'm sending the recurring messages errors that began 2 weeks ago below. Can you help me and see if there's anything that can be done? Sometimes it doesn't take 5 minutes to crash the connection. Waiting for some direction, thank youGian53mSono7 hours agoRising Novice20Views0likes3CommentsOh, look, another person experiencing random crash to desktop. Help please :)
Hi All, seems I'm one of many experiencing random crashes for no good reason. System specs and what I've done so far through process of elimination to try and resolve. Asus ROG Motherboard (forgotten the model of the top of my head, not at home but it compliments the CPU/RAM below) Intel i9 14900k CPU 64Gb Corsair Vengence 5600 RAM Sapphire Nitro+ 7900XTX 24Gb GPU (running at factory settings) Lots of colourful fans and funky stuff. Logitech G502 and G815 Keyboard. Windows 11 (up to date and completely virus checked) 2 x Acer Predator 32" 4K monitors. Problem: Random crash to desktop when loading the next map Or simply a random total drop to desktop in the middle of a round. Fine when I'm doing rubbish (well, not really), really annoying when I'm doing good (Rare 🤣) What have I done to try and fix?: Repaired BF2042, Cleared all cache's Reinstalled the EA App and BF2042 after a complete strip down of anything related in the registry. Reinstalled AMD Video drivers. Rolled back and tried earlier video drivers Reinstalled the latest ones again. Even tried (and currently running) the Pro Edition 24.Q4 video drivers. (I do use Davinci resolve so these are quite useful in that respect). Game runs very nicely (until it crashes). I do run an OC Profile on my PC. However, I have completely defaulted the BIOS to optimised defaults with NO overclocking. Completely disabled XMP (not just redued it a touch, disabled it entirely). I've tried closing down Armoury Crate services before loading the game (I have not yet disabled it entirely in the Motherboard BIOS) Disabled ALL Overlays. Switched between Borderless to Full Screen Set to run as Administrator. Actually created a secondary profile within Windows to try and resolve. All of this and to no avail. It just crashes. Sometimes, I can go for days, even a couple of weeks without a crash, the next I'm crashing in between every round and it seems to grown exponentially worse. I'll repair / reinstall and it seems to be ok for a bit. Then it'll randomly start acting up again. Nothing is over-heating. The CPU isn't maxing out at 100% The only thing I haven't tried yet is adjusting priority to high for the CPU (I'll do that later this evening) and I haven't yet disabled full screen optimisations but I will also try that later. If anyone has any magical words of advice that can help resolve these very annoying crashes, I'd be forever grateful (well at least until the next BF comes out with whatever exciting challenges that brings). Thanks in advance. PS. no other game crashes. As such, I refuse to reinstall Windows based on one single game crashing.Sparhawk-99 hours agoRising Rookie485Views5likes30CommentsLoadout editing in match bugged
Basically, the edit attachments of pistol instead just swaps the primary to column 1, with the row number corresponding to the pistol's row number, also any edits made to the pistol are reverted at end of match (though that may not be a bug)vaurthegreat2 days agoNewcomer9Views0likes0Comments2042 Won't Open
I was playing the game perfectly fine earlier today. I went to relaunch the game later and it won't open. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the game. Restarting my PC. Setting stuff as admin. Updating and reinstalling drivers. Clearing EA App Cache. Verifying game files. Reinstalling steam. Nothing. Every time I try and launch the game through EA I get the following in my logs: Edit: Well, since support wasn't any help, I used AI to help scan my EA App logs. I figured out how to fix it. I am not sure which one fixed it, but it was one of the following or a mix: I deleted my battlefield 2042 settings profile, you will need to change all of your settings again if you do this. The file is located in Documents/Battlefield 2042/settings. Delete PROFSAVE I went to C:\Users\YOURNAMEHERE\AppData\Local\BattlefieldGameData.kin-release.Win32 and deleted my Cache Folder Then I went to my Battlefield 2042 installation folder, then EAAntiCheat folder, I opened EAAntiCheat.Installer.exe and selected 2042 from the drop down, clicked uninstall, closed the .exe. I then reopened the .exe and selected 2042 from the drop down, and clicked install. Once that's done, I cleared the cache for EA launcher and then uninstalled and reinstalled it. Logged in The AI broke down my entire log folder and told me there was a cloud sync error with my settings folder, the anti cheat also was having issues syncing with the game, and that the EA app was having trouble connecting with steam to successfully launch the game. Once I did all of those, it opened flawlessly. LikeDudeoBoi2 days agoNew Novice50Views0likes1CommentBattlefield 2042 freeze whole pc
Game freeze my whole PC, only what i can do is hard reset/turn off on pc case. This happen every single time when i start to play this game, sometimes after 1 match, sometimes after 2-3 matches.I reinstall 3x windows because of this, test my memory with memtest, i updated all drivers manualy and i even used "Driver Easy" software. Windows is updated. I tried so many things, from configs, to default config of the game settings, lowering graphics to low, to medium.. to turn off all minimal, even tried every possible resolution in menu.. from lowest one to 1080p .. it's always the same, does not matter.. Before every launch i check update game on Origin launcher, Repair, I delete files in "cache" folder in my documents, delete all Temp files.. Run game as Fullscreen or Borderles.. nothing works. In game i have fps from 65 maybe till 90 depends .. and mostly going arround 70-80, even i run Afterburner with RIva Tuner to see temperatures and all data of my components, all runs normal, GPU is constantly max 55C usage is 50-55%, CPU get warmer.. arround 70C and usage is arround 90% most of the time, Ram memory never go over 10000, always is 9000 and something.. I really don't understand what is the problem, minimum spec for this game is i5 6600K, my CPU is from the same year i7.. I never experienced something like this, my whole pc get frozen .. and this all happening from 15. November and now is 20.. last 4-5 days i trying to figure out what the hell is going on... I can provide any pictures or videos if it needed, i just want to know why this happen.. what causes it.. is my pc or .. maybe game is not optimised ( what i doubt lol ) .. My specs are: Processor - i7 6700k Graphic Card - Nvidia GeForce GTX 1080 ( Gigabyte version, and i name this because i think is OC by default.. i think ) Ram Memory - 16gb Motherboard - Asus maximus VIII Ranger Storage - Samsung NvMe 970 Plus 1TBSolved13KViews2likes15CommentsCamera broken Lis rocket vehicles in Solo/Co-op

I have activated the radio on Haven to try and unlock the new Phantom Charm but no luck. I received the radio message from Hannah but the charm does not appear on screen not could I find it under weapon charms. Has anyone else had this issue and if so, how did you fix it? I even tried going back to Haven but this time I cannot interact with the radio, indicating that I have already done so before. I am facing a really annoying problem, I bought Battlefield 2042 Elite Edition and I was supposed to get special outfits from previous seasons and for vehicles and weapons but what I got was unlocking some things that I can unlock by playing and Only the pliers badge, I shouldn't have bought it in the first place. I contacted support but did not get an answer and I followed all instructionsAlpha_X_19412 days agoRising Newcomer28Views0likes2CommentsPersistent Crashes with EA Anti-Cheat Games - TDR Errors and Memory Issues
I'm experiencing persistent crashes with Battlefield 2042 and Battlefield 1. The issue only affects EA games using EA Anti-Cheat and has persisted across three different GPUs, suggesting it's not a GPU-specific hardware issue. The crashes happen regardless of hardware configuration, suggesting a fundamental software/system issue. Games typically crash after a few minutes of gameplay with either TDR errors (GPU timeout) or memory leak errors, despite having adequate system resources (32GB RAM). Please advise on specific troubleshooting for memory heap issues related to EA Anti-Cheat, as this problem has persisted through multiple hardware changes and standard fixes. So I've been trying to get T2 on one of my badges but it's not progressing anymore. It's stopped at 360 and no matter how many matches I play it's not going up. The progression bar is half way filled on T2 but the number still says 360 and the bar doesn't move at all. Anyone know how I can fix this?
