Damaged Datas
Hi, I downloaded a update that was 384bytes big. not megabaytes. Maybe yall had it. when i started Bf2042 it said my Datas wasnt readable and damaged. i could go into game but my saves were gone. so it showed up like i played it the first time. hope somebody got the same problem fixed and could help :) (Im german so the Screen is in german)

Hi, I've been not able to be seen online, nor can I do party joins, etc or join my friends, either. I don't know what to try next. I've done EA App re-installation, game repairs, etc, nothing is working for me? Is anyone else experiencing this? It really is another disapointment in the game to me as now I can't even get on same game let alone get paired up with him on party to even get to play. He's ready to quit this game. I'm not, if I can get this problem figured out. Any advice is welcomed. Ty. 😁
Error Player Removed From Game
Whenever I try to join any game, I get this error. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the game. I've updated, repaired, and uninstalled the anti-cheat. None of it worked. I can't join any game modes or portal servers. Is there no solution? [Edit: All caps removed from title - ElliotLH]
[BF2042][Steam] Sound issues, DirectX update (?)
Hello, since a few days in BF2042 there appear random sound errors and issues in official matches. Using the Sennheiser IE600 in-ear headphones, by random events left and right becomes reversed, mixed up, either left or right muted and mostly scratching and lagging noises. it is highly confusing in-game and heavily impacts gameplay in negative. i have already cleared all available cache in Windows 11 Pro as well as any cache in various many BF2042 locations and directories as well as DirectX caches, especially also in various (and hidden) BF2042 directories. and have deleted all game settings and locally stored cloud files .. everything i believe a DirectX update to BF2042 causes these heavy and random sound issues in-game in BF2042, no where else happening. if i had to guess due to my latest experiences, ducking or sliding randomly causes this. i also hear false enemy footsteps, they appear at locations where enemies are not present, but maybe had been just a few seconds ago while being out of line of sight .. about the particular DX update, BF2042 has officially received the "D3D12Core.dll" update to version 1.4.10.0, to be found inside "..\Steam\steamapps\common\Battlefield 2042\x64". so i think this particular DX update causes these sound error as mentioned already. please fix this. (dd.mm.yy hh:mm) Summarize your bug Angel Specialist Mastery Progression stuck at Mastery 29 (100/100 Revives and Resupplies to teammates) How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%) Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Investigating the issue. What happens when the bug occurs? No Progression on specialist What should be happening instead? Progress normally. I spoke with Patrick of EA HELP (via Live Chat) and guided me on some troubleshooting. Here are the steps: 1) Please check that both BF 2042, Origin, EA Desktop, and your PC are up to date. 2) If possible, try using a hard-wired (Ethernet/LAN) internet connection on your PC. 3) Please try repairing BF 2042: (http://bit.ly/OriginGameRepair…) 4) Please save and close BF 2042 and Exit Origin/EA Desktop(click Origin/three horizontal bars > Exit at the top) and then clear the Origin cache (http://bit.ly/EA_Clear_Cache) and 5) Please make sure that BF 2042, EA Desktop, and Origin are allowed through the firewall and antivirus: (https://help.ea.com/en/help/origin/origin/programs-that-may-cause-conflicts-with-origin/…). 6) Please try cold booting the router. First, save and close any program or work you do not want to be lost on your devices connected to the network. Then, please unplug the router and modem from the back for at least two minutes and then plug back in and reconnect devices as needed. 7) Try restarting the PC: First, save and close any program or work you do not want to be lost on your PC and then restart. All this has been done, down to the last letter. One last step was also tested. 8) One of the only other steps I can think of to eliminate this possibly being a local client-side issue would be testing the game on a new local admin. If this does not help, I believe our only recourse would be to have you bug report this. This has also been done. I played a Conquest 128 - Multiplayer in the new User and Progression is still stuck. EA HELP - Patrick was more than patient and helpful in trying to troubleshoot the problem. Since all this has been tested and done without a result. Please "MeToo" or Upvote this if you are experiencing this or any similar issue so it can be seen by the EA Team and hopefully be resolved ASAP. Thank you. P.S: Progression stuck happened about 3 weeks ago and still persists. Update #3 & #3.1 didn't fix it.ban
Last night after the servers crashed I closed again today at 3pm o'clock, and I was at work and I got it, can you check why I got banned, it's incorrect I don't use anything, can you check, I'm not a pro, I don't want it and I'm not interested, I'm playing in the evening for a beer with guys for fun, I could make another account but it doesn't seem right, I paid and then my account was blocked for nothing.kynu88Customization disappeared.
For a while now my rewards for upgrades aren't showing up in loadout and I can't customize anything... anybody got a fix? Pretty frustrating to say the least. I've tried ea support and some ai generated "fixes" none of which has worked. I'm on an X Box 6 console and am at a level 72 in the game. Don't remember what level the problem started at. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Dice!!! separate 128 and 64 player mode !!!! (Like this for EA attention)
Please consider separating the 64-player and 128-player Conquest playlists again in Battlefield 2042. Ever since the playlists were merged, many players have lost the ability to consistently play the experience they actually enjoy. Some players prefer the large-scale chaos and epic battles of 128 players, while others prefer the more tactical and focused gameplay of 64 players. Both experiences have their own unique identity, and forcing them into a single playlist reduces player choice and overall enjoyment. Battlefield has always been about offering different ways to play, and giving players the freedom to choose between 64 and 128-player modes would greatly improve the experience. With Battlefield 6 on the horizon, please don't forget the dedicated Battlefield 2042 community that still actively plays and supports the game. Bringing back separate playlists for 64 and 128 players would be a highly appreciated quality-of-life change. Thank you, DICE, for continuing to support Battlefield 2042.
Connection issues
Tried to get in contact with EA support... No luck Issue: Persistent Mid-Match and Lobby Disconnection Loop Error Code: 1:4688822970:-4685921B (Battlefield 2042 on PC) Alredy tried to: Launcher Update & Cache Flush: Upgraded the legacy EA App to the modern platform framework (Blue Icon). Manually cleared the EA cache folders to force a sterile launcher environment. Total Game Purge: Completely uninstalled Battlefield 2042 and manually deleted the physical installation folder to clear any corrupt legacy files. Completed a 100% fresh, clean download of the game assets. Manual Game Cache Deletion: Manually located and deleted the local game cache directories on the system storage to ensure no corrupted files remained before launching. I have also done the classic turn off and on. Does not work. Its not a networking issue because all my other programs funcion. Thanks for understandingBattlefield 2042 ps5
Click on a lobby and starts to load and then freezes up and its been like this for a few weeks now. I play another game because I dont want to go through the aggravation of closing it and restarting it. Everytime I go to play it just freezes. Any ideas to fix and I'll be glad to play.Connection issues

Wheeled warrior not popping
Hello! I would love to be able to get the platinum of this game and wheeled warrior is my last trophy missing and even although I have completed the requirements and obtained T1 with LATV4 and Pondhawk didn’t get no trophy yet. I will keep playing this amazing get and eventually get more vehicles to T1 but is there anything that can be done about it? I have tried several ways to try to unlock it like launching random games, getting them to level 41 or waiting some days and nothing seems to work. Any advice or fixed on this matter would help a lot. I know other people have the same issue.
[BF2042][Steam] Visual Bug at end of match score screen
All of my characters use other than their various standard costumes. As Crawford i had died after succesfully destroying an enemy vehicle, so switched to wait as Blasco on the overview map straight afterwards. Match ended in meantime. During score screen or end of match credits, neither my Blasco was shown, nor Crawford with his white desert costume. Crawford weared one of his standard costumes as seen on this attached screenshot. I do recognize as this visual bug has appeared for quite a time yet.
