Can't Connect to BF2042 – Ban Removed (Error EC:10901 / EC:10608)
Hi EA team and community, I’m hoping someone can help or clarify what’s going on. I was previously banned from Battlefield 2042, but that penalty has since been removed and the case is now marked as closed. However, when I try to launch the game, I still can’t connect — I consistently get error codes EC:10901 and EC:10608, and sometimes a message that says “your account is banned.” This has been happening for over a week now. I’ve tried: Restarting my PC and router Clearing cache Reinstalling the game Logging in from different devices Nothing has worked. The ban is lifted, so I don’t understand why I still can't access the game. On top of that, I’ve spent hours trying to find a way to contact EA Support or the Terms of Service team again, but there’s no way to open a new case. Every time I submit through the webform, I just get a message saying “Thanks for submitting your issue. Choose an option for more help,” with no confirmation email, no case ID, and no actual contact or resolution options — just self-help articles. I’m completely stuck here. I just want to get back into the game and earn those precious Battlefield 6 skins before it's too late. Can anyone point me in the right direction or escalate this to someone who can actually look into it? Thanks, BowWasTaken
BF2042 new issues today
Yesterday I played for 4 hours with a few minor crashes as usual but today, I download the BF6 pre-download as I had an email saying I could. That all seemed to download just fine. I also uninstalled the files from the BF6 beta while I was at it. So today I was just going to play 1 or 2 maps after I got my work done and it's a major nightmare yet again. First I got a green screen error about a page fault and it mentioned the Microsoft Insiders Version which I do not even use andafter a reboot the game would not load with some error about trying again later as the issue was on EA's side. Then I tried again later and now I am getting error messages about my game files being corrupt so I look up how to fix it and delete the Battlefield folder after trying to delete the 2 profile files that didn't work. I have to CTRL/ALT/DEL to get past the corrupt file errors and shut it down. All I keep getting is errors about my game files being corrupt. I even uninstalled BF2042 and the EA AntiCheat and still get the same errors. WTF?? So I tried to load BF4 and it works fine...Go figure. Arrrrrrrrrggggggggghhhhhhhhhh!
Battlefield 2042 PC freeze on startup
Hello, i have the same thing for over 2 months now. BF games (2042 and for 1 day bf6 beta did the same) At first i thought it was the anticheat. Uninstalled it and played bf6 beta for days. After it ended i couldnt get on 2042. Both games freeze the whole pc on startup and all i can do is force shutdown by pressing the power button. Troubleshooting sometimes it is fixed but most of the time it happens. I have tried EVERYTHING. I even got a new motherboard, got my 5090 RMAed. Still bf2042 cannot start and freezes the PC. I cannot understand what the problem is or how to solve it. bf6 is 2 weeks away and i don't think i will be able to play since they share a lot of common things with 2042. Can any one help?
Bugged WHEELED WARRIOR Trophy
I've spend decades of hours to get the last achievemnt in my steam version game. And after hourds of suffering playing with LATV4 this achievement didn't pop up. Nor in EA account neither in STEAM. I got banned from bf 2042 but i dont know the reason. Before a BF6 i play a bit just as regular. Today at 10.02 i try play agia before bf6 realise and got the screen i got ban. has been happening weirdly every day since i redownloaded the game a few days ago. I just dont know what the issue is, im well over capable of getting 200 FPS constantly so its not a hardware issue at all and my LAT ms and TN ms doesnt go higher than 25 each so im looking for a possible solution if there is any

With Update 8.8.0 on Battlefield 2042, we will require that Secure Boot be enabled for PC hardware that can support it. This will provide you with a higher standard of trust and safety while you play select EA titles. As cheat developers keep evolving their tactics, we're stepping up our game, too. To keep Battlefield 2042 fair and fun for everyone, we're strengthening our defences, especially against cheats that try to sneak in during the Windows boot process. This move supports our Positive Play commitment and helps ensure a level playing field for all players.If you attempt to load the game following Update 8.8.0 without Secure Boot enabled, but are on a piece of hardware that supports it, you will be prompted with a message stating that Secure Boot is required. Secure Boot is a feature available for Windows 11 and Windows 10 devices, and you can learn more about how to enable this functionality via our EA Help article here. (‼️At Your Own Risk‼️) How to Reset Secure Boot if Battlefield 2042 Does Not Recognise It Before you proceed, consult your motherboard manual for precise steps. BIOS/UEFI menus vary by manufacturer. Steps to Reset Secure Boot Enter BIOS/UEFI Settings Restart your PC and press the designated key (usually DEL, F2, ESC) to enter BIOS/UEFI. Locate Secure Boot Settings Navigate to the Security or Boot tab. Assess the Current Secure Boot State If the Mode is User, you can usually enable Secure Boot directly. Hazard Zone is unplayable for the last two days.
For the last two days Hazard Zone has been completely unplayable, every time I find a match on a Discarded map, the game is stuck on loading screen and it loads endlessly and I have to restart the game to get back to the menu. Also cannot find any other map than Discarded. Please restart the servers or something.
Wheeled warrior not popping
Hello! I would love to be able to get the platinum of this game and wheeled warrior is my last trophy missing and even although I have completed the requirements and obtained T1 with LATV4 and Pondhawk didn’t get no trophy yet. I will keep playing this amazing get and eventually get more vehicles to T1 but is there anything that can be done about it? I have tried several ways to try to unlock it like launching random games, getting them to level 41 or waiting some days and nothing seems to work. Any advice or fixed on this matter would help a lot. I know other people have the same issue.Some maps are partial or not available in portal - conquest custom
Some maps are partial or not available in portal - conquest custom. Can you please make it so that we can make our custom conquest with all maps and all sizes of those maps. Now we can only make custom conquests with some maps and only small and medium. The BMP-2 and M3A3 Bradley are not available in portal conquest custom. Please update portal to have all the maps and all the vehicles
Banned account
I've also posted this in the general discussion but thought I would share it here also to potentially have some sort of response: My account was randomly banned on Battlefield 1 and Battlefield 2042. I wanted to go back to these games after having fun playing the BF6 beta. Last time I played Battlefield 1 was towards the end of 2023, but after trying to sign to play in August of this year I was notified that my account has been banned from playing on July 1st. I honestly didn't think this was a massive issue as I had 2042 I could still play. I was able to play 2042 for maybe 2-3 days before I got another message saying that I was banned from 2042 as well. I appealed both bans through EA help only to have my Battlefield 1 appeal closed, their reasoning was "this is a duplicate of an existing appeal" and I can't resubmit. My appeal for 2042 was also denied. I asked for reasoning as to why the account was banned, the best they came up with was "Violating User Agreement" or using "Gameplay Enhancements". I've asked that if they have the means, please review my gameplay for the proof that I have not used any exploits or cheats of any kind. I never use in game chat and exclusively talk with my friends through discord. The appeal was denied again. "We have received your most recent correspondence expressing concerns about the action that was taken on your account. After thoroughly investigating your account and concern, we again found that we actioned your account correctly after it was found to have violated our User Agreement. We will also be unable to provide any details regarding our internal procedures. Due to this violation, we will not remove the sanction that was applied to your account." I refuse to buy Battlefield 6 because of this. Absolutely no specific reason was given to what I have done to violate their terms. If anyone else has had a similar experience and had it rectified please let me know
Just started BF2042 on PC from Console - Immediately Banned
So to start, I've played BF on consoles since 1942 and all the way through BFBC2 and BF3-4 (skipped BF1 and BFV) and well into BF 2042. I decided to try BF 2042 on PC due to the beta for BF6 being available through steam and getting an early access code from a creator giveaway. Beta went amazing and played about 100 matches between Weekend 1 and 2. Hearing they had challenges for BF6 rewards in 2042. So here I am logging into my second instance on 2042 and hoping in a portal mode to play bigger ticket maps and get my XP when I was mid match and hit with "you've been banned" only to read the email after saying I was cheating? This is where I'm lost but might know why I got banned. I play tons of IDLE games on my PC while doing work and I have an autoclicker downloaded that helps me play https://orteil.dashnet.org/cookieclicker/ COOKIE CLICKER and other similar IDLE games where autoclickers are encouraged! I have zero reason to click the mouse button when I play controller in battlefield and I think EA's Anti-cheat picked that up and immediately banned me. I appealed this ban obviously and tried to find anything that would get me logs to help prove my case but I didn't find any logs or anything outside submitting my BF2042 stats which I'll post here. I am clearly NOT cheating with stats like mine but if anyone can help me or has experience reversing a ban, this would be insanely appreciated as a long time lover and fan of BF series and hater of cheating as a console player who is usually forced to play with cheater (why i stopped playing Warzone).
