Please Help: EA AntiCheat error ( 7 ) ( 2 )
I purchased Battlefield 2042 last night and spent a few hours updating drivers, mic settings, downloading, setting up key binds in game etc etc. played a few rounds before bed. today when I went to play the game I got an error. "EA AntiCheat Service encountered an error. Please restart the game.: C\Program Files\EA\AC\EAAntiCheat.GameService.exe ( 7 ) ( 2 )" I have of course tried the fix below that you guys keep copy pasting. Just like everyone else in here says, it does not work. "This happens when EA anticheat can't find the installation folder or can’t start the game. There are two ways to fix this. Relaunch the EA app (even if you got the game on Steam or the Epic Games Store) as an admin by right-clicking on it and choosing Run As Administrator. Then, relaunch the game from the EA app directly. Reinstall EA anticheat. https://help.ea.com/in/help/pc/ea-anticheat/ Thanks." I have fully uninstalled/reinstalled Battlefield 2042 and the EA app/launcher or whatever you call it. I have even spent a couple hours scouring the internet and trying anything I see people recommending. most importantly, the game did run for a few hours last night, and nothing has changed since then. I don't have any special software running or whatever this anti cheat is looking for. Please advise what the next course of action is.My battlefield loads and crashes please help
i loaded up battlefield for the first time and after a while this popped up so i closed it down and followed a youtube tutorial on how to reinstall javelin anti cheat so i did that then restarted my pc after that it still didnt work i tried multiple times and it didnt work. i also tried it on pvz gw2 and the same message would pop up any help is appreciated

My EA account has been banned for no reason, and I am unable to contact you through the banned EA account because the account has been banned, EA has closed the entrance to chat with human customer service, and emails have not been replied to for a long time. (Or the email does not have a case number), which means I am unable to establish any contact with you through the banned EA account.

Facing an error code while trying to login through steam: 1:86001S:66003S:-4688822970:0B. EA help redirected me to this forum. Any solutions? I hated my Xbox gamertag so I changed it. My Battlefield 6 tag didn’t update to my new Xbox tag. I changed my EA ID online and it still shows my old Xbox tag. I uninstalled/reinstalled the game and it still shows old Xbox tag. I also unlinked/relinked the EA profile from the Xbox profile after the Xbox showed the new tag; can’t relink til May 26’. Would really appreciate some help, thanks!
Wrongly Banned in Battlefield 2042 – Multiple Appeals Ignored
Hello EA team and community, Platform: PC Ban Date: August 25, 2025 EA Member Since: 2013 🛑 What Happened On August 25, 2025, I attempted to play Battlefield 2042 after a brief break from the game. Upon logging in, I was immediately met with a permanent ban, with no prior warning, notification, or explanation. The only justification provided in my initial appeal response was a general “rule violation” which was later clarified as malicious cheats/hacks under Section 6 of EA’s TOS. This was shocking and confusing. I have never used any form of cheat, exploit, or third-party software that violates EA’s rules. My record across Battlefield titles and other EA games has been spotless for over a decade. 🧾 My Appeals & EA’s Responses I’ve now submitted multiple appeals, and each time, I’ve received the same template response, stating that the “action was correct” and that “no further details can be provided.” The latest response included this exact wording: “After thoroughly investigating your account and concern, we again found that we actioned your account correctly after it was found to have violated our User Agreement. We will also be unable to provide any details regarding our internal procedures. After completing two full investigations into your complaint, we consider this matter closed.” This implies the appeal process is exhausted — but I have received no transparency, no logs, no evidence, and no human explanation. I understand anti-cheat systems cannot disclose everything, but I also believe players deserve a genuine, manual review when bans are applied without cause. 🧠 False Positive Suspected – Possible Cause After researching EA Forums and Reddit, I’ve found dozens of similar reports where users were banned due to false positives triggered by commonly used software, such as: GeForce Experience Logitech G Hub / iCUE / RGBFusion 2.0 Overlays from Discord, Steam, Overwolf MSI Afterburner or motherboard RGB/OC utilities I use some of the above, which are widely known to interfere with Easy Anti-Cheat (EAC) under certain circumstances, even though they’re completely legitimate. 🧍My Account & Conduct EA account active since 2013 Never had any prior bans, warnings, or disciplinary actions Linked to a decade-old Steam account with a 100% clean history Participated in the BF6 beta and passed all security checks, including Secure Boot No cheats, macros, trainers, or network manipulation software ever installed 📢 Final Appeal Submitted (Sept 2025) I’ve submitted one final appeal with the following wording: “I’m appealing a permanent ban from Battlefield 2042 issued without notice on Aug 25, 2025. I’ve never used cheats, hacks, or software violating EA’s TOS. This is likely a false positive, possibly triggered by common apps (GeForce Experience, iCUE, Logitech G Hub, Discord Overlay, etc.) often flagged by Easy Anti-Cheat. I request a manual review by a human representative. My EA account (est. 2013) and linked Steam account both have clean histories across hundreds of hours. If I receive no further explanation or contact from a human rep, I will pursue escalation through Easy Anti-Cheat, consumer protection channels, and public forums. I respectfully request proper investigation. — BowWasTaken” 💸 Consumer Concern – No Notice, No Recourse As a paying customer, I’m also deeply concerned that EA can issue a permanent ban without prior notice or explanation, effectively locking players out of a full-priced game (Battlefield 2042) — especially one that retailed at a premium price point (~$90 AUD or more at launch) and included paid seasonal content like Battle Passes. This raises serious concerns not just for me, but for the broader player base ahead of Battlefield 6’s release. If users can lose access to purchased content without any detailed justification, evidence, or warning, how can players trust the system to treat them fairly in future titles? Digital bans may be necessary in cases of real cheating, but they must be transparent and accountable — especially when tied to paid content. ⚖️ What I’m Asking Please escalate this case to an actual EA representative or community manager for manual review. If this was a false EAC flag, I would appreciate guidance on what triggered it so I can avoid it in the future. I am not asking for special treatment — only for transparency, fairness, and human oversight. 🛠️ Next Steps (If No Resolution) If no contact is made or corrective action taken, I will be pursuing further escalation through: Easy Anti-Cheat (EAC) Support – to determine if the ban was triggered on their end and whether it was in error. Australian Competition & Consumer Commission (ACCC) – as I am an Australian consumer who has paid for digital goods now rendered inaccessible due to an unsupported and opaque ban. Social and public channels (Reddit, Twitter/X, etc.) – in hopes of connecting with EA community staff who can actually address this issue. Thank you for your time. secure boot is off, but all the specifications are good
hey guys, I started the game through Steam to play Battlefield 2042. When the anti-cheat started, I got a secure boot error. I checked everything on ea play's secure boot article. My BIOS mode is UEFI, secure boot is enabled in the BIOS, TPM is on, and my Windows disk is GPT, but it still shows secure boot as disabled. The computer I'm trying now is brand new, but I had the same issue on my old computer as well. Could you please help with this issue?
BF2042 autoclose
Im starting to think that EA its a joke. Not only that BF2042 AUTOCLOSES but FC25 AUTOCLOSES TOO. WITHOUT AN ERROR. I've tried everything. Deleting cache files, repairing EA, uninstalling and installing back EA, verifying the integrity files of BF on steam. I dont know what to do anymore and i see that EA doesn't give a frick about those god **bleep** bugs or whatever this is... I even enabled secure boot, still nothing. My PC can't be the problem, i have an RTX 4070 Super with an I7-14700F and 16 GB ram. I dont have problems with any other games. R6, Valorant, PUBG, Barotrauma, ETS and ATS 2, GTA5 etc, those games work PERFECTLY FINE. The only games with problems are BF2042 and FC25, i play FIFA21 but i dont see to have a problem with it (yet). I think ill just uninstall BF2042 and try BF5 hoping it wont crash. Please tell me what to do, i feel like i've tried everything but it all was in vain...
Game keeps sending to Desktop after recent update today
Hi There, Every single time in try to start the a game in matchmaking, the game crashes and sends me back to desktop. No error provided. I see i'm receiving crashdump files in the game directory. I tried repairing the game, tried updating BIOS & drivers to see if this is the problem. Did not solve it. Please look into this
