Re: Controller Issus on PC. Randomly looking up.

@HermeticXXXIII I have the same issue, there is a temporary fix though and it has some downsides. If you go into your game settings -> mouse and keyboard and turn off "MOUSE RAW INPUT" your issue will stop. Only downside is it will turn itself back on occasionally (idk why) and it seems to turn off aim assist as well.

  • @beedog743 This worked for me, but it does enable itself, but if you go back into settings, you can turn it off. It's a temporary fix for sure at least I can play now without dying when I should've gotten the damn kill!

    1)  Goto folder C:\Users\#######\Documents\Battlefield 2042\settings
    2) open PROFSAVE_profile with notepad or wordpad
    3) search down the list for GstInput.MouseRawInput 1 and change that to 0
    4) click save

load up battlefield2042 and it should now ALWAYS be off!

( make sure your PROFSAVE_profile  file is not read only ) ** right click the file click properties and uncheck read-only ** then try saving the file again with adjusted setting

Hope this helps ( im honestly just about to test if it fixed the random look up, ill play for an hour and return with an update. as it usually happen 4x a match... it'll happen if it happens..)

** update ** hasnt happened since i adjusted this setting..*fingers crossed*

Can anybody else confirm that this works and can we pay this as an "ANSWER" somehow? I gave up on this game for a year. Just jumped back in with all the new updates and my aim is still randomly flicking up. I'll try this and repost to confirm if it worked but it would be great if this was definitely a solution for everybody.
