It sounds like you have disabled Show Player Created Content, could that be correct? You can find this in the settings menu.

still showing numbers, and the "follow" area is gone, and the game reset itself to 0 (i have to rebind keys, fix FOV, resolution).. oh man..

I am sorry, I am not sure if I am following you correctly. You're still seeing numbers instead of names of the Portal servers, despite turning on Show Player Created Content? Thx it worked
