Bad Company is just a name. Dice LA/Ripple Effect would probably do it (and Battlefield) justice but Dice Sweden will likely make as much a mess of it as they have their past 3 games.

Matter of fact, it would be an insult to the BFBC identity and soul if a BFBC3 was to be made by the same incompetent game designers and programmers that have put this BF2042 on out the street in this shocking poor state...
- @CyberDyme I agree with both of you! But that doesn’t change the fact that a good battlefield game is loooong overdue… bigger is not better!! Stop changing the formula of the game to the point you don’t even recognize it anymore.
Go back to the roots… smaller well designed maps, 32 player rush/domination/Teamdeathmatch and 64 player conquest/breakthroug. bring back all the game mechanics from previous games and you have a hit game… its so simple, how do they manage to f u ck it up so much? Folks, you need to understand even if DICE made a BC3 it would still be the same s*** show you are seeing with 2042. This is not the same team who made the greats of BC2, BF3, BF4 and BF1. Those great developers are long gone. This gang does not know what BF is all about and have probably not even played a BF game. I mean truly played it as a passion like the rest of us. Just seeing those cringe worthy specialists at the end of the game makes me know this team plays more Fortnite and Overwatch than BF.
- @MogwaiWarrior You’re probably right… but how hard can it be to recreate a battlefield like bf3 and bc2? They should go and play those titles and then remake a simular game. And if that is to hard just remaster them and its ok XD

I'll gladly take a remastered BF3. Honestly just make the remastered exactly like the original but just improve the graphics. A console peasant like myself didn't get to experience BF3 at it's finest. - @MogwaiWarrior Me too!
