Which new mode are you talking about? Portal has had Rush as an option since the start. ....maybe I'm misunderstanding. Are you talking about one of the official, pre-made Portal games they created?
dont know how to explain exactly but they added a rush mode on the new maps..and i don't remember if the mode on the new maps was been there.
yes i think you are right...and the game is running decent on these new maps when doesnt have 128 players.

Yeah, if something becomes popular and they see a lot of people playing it, I could see them making certain Experiences permanent. Personally, I think Portal was a brilliant vision but they need to make sure they encourage more engagement by acting on hot issues like full progression in custom creations, etc.
The more people who play Portal, the better the chances we get what we want in this mode. ....like good, permanent Experiences.
