I'm using EA app for BF42.
Recovery - doesn't work.
Uninstall/Install - doesn't work.
Stuck on "Preparing" 14%.
I have the exact same problem after doing the fix for validating files on steam and did all the repair EAapp stuff, it just won't start even after reinstalling the app and the game itself.

I'm honestly so sick and tired of this EA App garbage. This is probably my first complaint in years or ever. I had downloaded the BF 2042 Season 6 update from the EA App itself and guess what? Your app keeps putting my game on an update loop EVERY SINGLE TIME. So frustrating. I've been trying to fix for hours but I KNOW it's your app fault. I did everything, clear cache blah blah blah and nothing. Uninstalled app etc and nothing works. It just keeps redownloading the update over and over. Origin was by far a better experience but then you force everyone to use this EA app. And secondly, I bought NFS Heat through Steam and linked my EA account and that too doesn't work. What a frustrating experience.
