Re: Game invites while offline (PSN/XBOX)

If you are on a console like PS5, then you can do exactly that by creating your own "Game Party Group".

Any member of that group can then see the status/availability for everybody else in that group.

Any member of that group can initiate a chat party.

And all members of that group can join or quit the party chat as they want, with no interruptions by others entering or leaving the chat.

Sony also has an App (Google/Apple/PC...)  that you can use when you are not active in the game yourself, where you still have access to txt chat with that same group or even enter into voice chat as you like.

    @CyberDyme I would have to appear as online for those who intend to join so the party is visible. Or vice versa, my friends would have to be online for me to invite them via the Bf Social screen or any other way through the console.

    No sorry @xXEMTXx ,

    I did maybe not explain it well.

    On the PS5 you simply create a message in the GameBase area, into which you invite all the friends that you want to join in the gaming with.  You can even add more players later to this or even also remove them, if you were the original host/creator of this group.  And you and/or all your friends do not need to be online when you do this.  All in the group can all later always start up a new game session/chat also when you are not around.

    Whenever any of you later then gets online for some gaming, you simply just go into this messaging group.  If any of them are online and in a game, like BF2042, you can then simply jjoin them by a single click of a button.  Likewise, you can also get straight into VOIP chat with them by a click of a button.  And here again, none of them needs to be online at the same time.  All can come or go as they like.  And they can all join the game you play or not, as they like.  And they can join the group VOIP chat as they like.

    One of the advantages of doing this direct on your console is that you can even be up to 16 players now I think in these sessions together certainly on PS5.  Also fun if you are not all playing on the same team side, when doing this.  So we are not limited by the very poor communication pack we have in the BF2042 game itself...    😎

    @CyberDymeThanks for the reply.

    I just want to invite people in my “Bf 2042 party” while I’m offline and my friends are offline.
    I play the PS4 Bf 2042 application on my PS5, and I’ll say inviting those folks doesn’t have a invite method as easy as the PS5 members when they’re online.

    I wish I could create a video and upload it here to share with you all what I’m talking about.

    Thanks once again for replying back, it means a ton really. I always have hope and even more with your replies and the public’s.
