This issue has not been resolved in the latest update.
it's ridiculous how dice doesn't care about their game .
Soon I am leaving this game forever....just remove it, for christ sakes. If you cant get it to work dont have it...Im mean i hate trying to ping enemy next to me when i go down. Only for my team mate run by me and get shot by the player hiding in corner. Its a live marker highlight ping over there head too. Game so bugged broken
- @robh350z The issue is, it was working for almost a year since the game released but they broke it late summer and have not fixed it.
Still happening with the latest update.
There is a Setting in Network in the bottom. There you can mute friendly pings.

yeah its annoying as all F, this game is really good now but little things like this still sour the experience
How is this not fixed yet..? What a joke..
After all this time, this [Removed] is still broken. Wife and I game next to each other. I die and spot the [Removed] out the enemy, look at her screen and NO [Removed] SPOTS appearing. She hears the pinging noise but nothing shows up. This is such a low hanging fruit bug that's been in since the beginning of the game.
