Re: It's 2023 and the bf2024 network stability is still laughable

Game has been pretty stable for me on PS5 - Have you double checked your rig to make sure nothing needs an update?

@DantesFinest You’re not alone, the forums are full of threads about connection, netcode, desync, TTK/TTD etc. it does suck, it’s insane that a year in it’s actually worse than it used to be, and yet Dice continues to pretend it’s our fault. Don’t buy into it. Like you it’s the only game I have trouble with when it comes to network connection. I’m on fibre optic…

It has been a totally frustrating year and as you say it has deteriorated over time, it is nigh on unplayable in it's current state.

  • @ATFGunr Although I'm glad I'm not alone in this experience (bit selfless of me I know) I am sad to hear that it is actually a worsening problem. I've only been playing the game for 2-3 months, and i do notice an uptick in the problem during these event weeks (thinking more people are on, which is a pathetic reason since what, player count goes from 6000 to 8000 daily ? xD) but I couldn't make a more elaborate comparison personally.
My trust in EA is in the negative, so I doubt it'll be solved soon -.-

I'm glad I'm not the only one getting this.

Season 3 and 4 had some minor issues.  But since Season 5 hit, I've been unable to launch into any servers or "practice" rounds without first running a repair on the game through EA.  THEN, when I load into games it's with a 300+ in the corner spiking up to 1000+ at times.  I rubber band everywhere and can't play a single round.  Note:  I've left my settings as is (lowest res etc) to maximize performance on my MSI GL75 Leopard and until Season 5 that seemed to be fine barring the occasional hiccup.  There has been no change to my ISP, router, anti-virus, etc in the mean time.  EA please address this issue instead of trying to pin it on players (I have 2 friends who also can't play the game for the same reasons).
