Re: 2042 Rush is frustrating and not fun

Rush takes a lot more coordination with so few players. Not having squad orders and acknowledgments definitely make it less coordinated.

They should take out all armor and at most have LATVs, Hovercraft, ATVs, Pickups, and TukTuks.

They don't actually have to take anything out. If folks don't want a combined arms experience in Rush they can make a portal mode without any armor.

@protoman23what gives with the never ending attacks on anyone that critiques vehicle imbalances as “whining” and as “not wanting combined arms experience”?  This is absurd and childish. You’re speaking to and insulting many of us that have been playing Battlefield for two decades precisely BECAUSE WE ENJOY COMBINED ARMS EXPERIENCE.

Your overused, transparent, disingenuous  response is ludicrous and insulting. Your intention is to belittle those giving feedback and to shut down open debate on game balance.  Vehicle imbalances do in fact exist in any game with vehicles. Without feedback and open discussion among the fans, games don’t improve.

You’re saying 2042’s in a great place and that vehicles are balanced? The data, feedback and overall player numbers says otherwise.

Considering 2042’s reviews and current player numbers compared to previous titles of the franchise, we need all the feedback and healthy debate we can get in order to get 2042 back to the formula that works and that’s loved by long time fans.

You made a thread complaining about stock vehicles somehow ruining Rush. Explain to me how the stock condor is ruining Flash Back Rush 2042?

@protoman23Reread my original post and read the other posts from other players in this thread that share the same sentiment.

You opinion is that vehicles are fine and balance on Rush for attacker v defender.  Based off of what exactly? Dwindling player numbers? Negative 2042 reviews?

The formula for Rush works pretty well in BF4 and BF1. Sides are fairly even to include vehicles most of the time(not all of the time). Seems like there’s a bit more room to maneuver as well in those versions of Rush. But then again BF4 and especially BF1 maps ordinarily have a lot more cover for defenders on most objectives compared to some of the BF3 objective locations that I experienced on Portal.

What's so oppressive about a Vanilla Condor. The pilot repair is locked and it has the 40mm grenade launcher with which the majority of the games player base is absolutely terrible using. In a 16v16 lobby, 4 players sitting in a condor is detrimental to attacking since there isn't enough players holding the frontline. In most situations they instantly get destroyed like the MAV.
