Re: Xbox One version with X/S hard copy.

Crossgen support was only a feature of the digital version.

I'm sure you could find a used physical Xbox One copy for dirt cheap.

There's two disc versions for Xbox. One version comes with Xbox One and Series X on a single disc. The other disc version just has Series X.

Which version do you have? I'm interested if the cross-gen disc version can download Xbox One on Series X.

I also noticed the Xbox and PlayStation stores are selling 2042 digital cross-gen version for $70. But I can buy the standard disc version brand new for $40. Or a used disc copy for $10.

PlayStation doesn't have a cross-gen disc version. So you'd have to buy both a PS4 and PS5 disc to have both versions.

After seeing these prices, I'm definitely getting a Ps5 with a disc drive. Those digital store prices are super high!

I bought the X version. Huge fan of Battlefield but disappointed with the outcome of this game. EA should allow anyone with a copy of the game get the last gen version for nothing after this debacle of a release. I’ll never pre-order another game.
