I say choose only 1 map because you cannot mix factions, you must let Portal choose the faction according to which era map you've chosen...so the point is that you cannot change any setting other than choosing a map and PvP bots.

Also, progression is not disabled, as you say, when using PvE bots..Not sure why you would say this really...you get less XP, no ribbons, etc...but you still progress it just take MUCH longer to do so. but using the method above where you use the PvP bots will allow things to move along faster now, as it was meant to be.
