Re: Dead Space 3 Chapter 9 Glitch

I'm getting the same bug. I turned everything down in the rendering settings. Did you do anything else? I gave my computer and game a restart after I changed the settings, and tried it countless times before that. Any other suggestions? I'm really needing some assistance here, it would be greatly appreciated.

Try 2 hint:

Lower resolution to minimum also, turn off V-sync, try Fullscreen Windowed mode.

Lower anything to the possible minimum DURING boss fight ( after cut scene then you see him).

I got through this cinematic by starting a co-op game and letting the carver player initiate the bulldozer-falling-sequence. I don't know if this happened because my game lagged or something, but I only had to do half the quick-event actions, but the last action to bash the door open did appear for me that time. I normally play with low settings, and I was stuck on CH9 for awhile too.

Still nothing. Darn that's disappointing. Everything is as low as it can go. Did the button indicator appear for you, or did you have to just click the button at the right time without it? Cause I'm trying to tap "E" when the indicator SHOULD pop up.

Nurglet/Dead I'm curious if the low settings made it show up for you guys, or if you just clicked through at the right time?

Darn I was on a roll too, really enjoying this game.

The moment when the missing indicator is about to appear, everything gets really super quiet, then the truck falls off. It's really odd.

I seem to have a similar problem, but it's at the start of the cutscene. When the truck starts falling and you have to press W: nothing happens however much I bash the W-key. The indicator is visible on the screen, it just won't respond to my button-mashing. Anyone else experience this or could think of a solution?

The first one, you have to hold the button down. Hold W rather than tap. Tap "E"

I did that the first time, started smashing the button.

(unless it's also bugged)

Still stuck. Anyone got anything else? This is kinda ridiculous now...

I just tried tapping "E" while holding down "W" and it worked for me. SOOOO Glad.

This! Thank you dude. I almost broke my keyboard, trying to make Isaac move. Every other QTE you need to smash buttons as fast as possible. Who would * guess this time you need to just hold "W" rather than tap. (-_\\)
