Dead space 3 chapter 17 alien door
After dropping down into the pit with the markers in chapter 17, I input the alien sigils to say “open,” but the door doesn’t open. The middle circle of the door is blue but when I approach it doesn’t change much. I can no longer progress and would appreciate some help.885Views0likes6CommentsDead Space remake asking for activation code with EA play
I have been attempting to finish Dead Space but yesterday it began asking for a license code when attempting to play the game. I have spoken to tech support and cleared the cache, prior to doing this I also uninstalled and reinstalled both the game and the EA play app.Smash_4toms5 days agoSeasoned Newcomer33Views1like2CommentsHigher than normal PC Temps
I am having issues with Dead Space(2023) on my PC The temps on both my cpu 91 degress and gpu was hotter than normal and they are uncomfortably high and I have my AIO Cooler on performance. My game settings we on normal I had to turn DLSS on and ray tracing off, The Game ran fine graphically outside of that. My other issue I am also having issues with my keyboard not working with the game. I have a razer huntsman v2. I tried to plug in 2 different xbox controllers and those wont work either with the game. I have restarted my game, pc. including a new game file as well. I can only walk. I can't stomp or sprint. And when I picked up the plasma cutter it just stays up. Any insight on how to fix this? the only thing I have not tried to get the controller to work is unplugging my Keyboard and mouse entirely from the pc and booting up the game in BIg Picture mode on steam. PC Specs Cpu: Ryzen 5800X GPU: Nvidia 3060 TI MB: MSI x570 Ram: 64GB The game is installed on a M.2 UPDATE: Unbinding the Controller key binds fixed keyboard issue!5.5KViews4likes50CommentsThe dead space x fortnite colab needs to come back
Ea straight up missing out, such a popular ip, and with it being absent from the fortnite shop for almost 2 years, codes online are now selling for over 300 dollars. It's just ridiculous if there is zero thought of bringing it back, such easy bank but ea has no clue what their stuff is worth. I'm not wasting 300 dollars for a code when it should just come back to the fortnite shop. Please ea hear my pleas, fortnite has 60 million daily users just FYI. You will make money, for zero effort! I thought people like money? No???MrTehCat7 days agoSeasoned Newcomer13Views1like0CommentsDead Space X Fortnite return date?
It's been almost 2 years since Isaac was last in the fortnite shop, in that time codes have gone up to 300 DOLLARS! Does ANYBODY know how we can get this to return so I don't have to waste money? Or is the only real chance of a return with a new dead space game? Because I know it was originally made for promotion.MrTehCat7 days agoSeasoned Newcomer42Views0likes0CommentsDead space
I'm a big Dead Space dude and would have loved to learn Isaac Clarke was in Fortnite, but unfortunately I didn't get him. Isaac is a legend and having him in Fortnite was the best way to celebrate the series. Having him back would be huge for fans like me who love the character I just can’t wait this long164Views1like2CommentsWill there be a Dead Space 2 Remake
Does anyone think they will be a Dead Space 2 Remake? i have been a long time fan of the Dead Space Franchise and i tried the spiritual successor to Dead Space, aka The Callisto Protocol and in my opinion it fell way WAY short of the mark. I know me and a friend of mine is hoping for a Dead Space 2 Remake cause the games i feel were left on a cliff hanger at the end of Dead Space 3 as they still had more source material they could have covered to make a Fourth game but....erichayes6110 days agoNewcomer23Views0likes0Comments[Old Report] Dead Space 2 won't launch from EA App
Hi, When I launch "Dead Space 2" in EA App on my Win10 PC, it raises the (frustratingly vague) error message "Your game failed to launch. An error on our end caused your launch to fail. Try again a little later." First off - trying again "a little later" doesn't help. It has been about a week now and the problem still persists. I've already contacted the EA help live-chat, and they suggested disabling all non-Microsoft services from msconfig, as well as disabling all startup programs from the 'Startup' tab in Task Manager. After rebooting my PC (a "clean boot"), the issue was still not resolved. Other things that I've tried include various combinations of running EA-App (and the many helper programs in the same directory) and Dead Space 2 itself in 'Administrator mode', but that didn't help. Also uninstalling and reinstalling the game didn't help, and neither did uninstalling and reinstalling EA App itself. Running the EA-app or the game in "Compatibility mode" for various older Windows releases didn't solve anything either. I also tried running the "App Recovery" program to clear the cache, but that didn't do any good either (both regularly and "as administrator"). Similarly, from within the EA-app, I tried to 'Repair' the game's files, but that also didn't help. In other support articles, I found mentions of CPU's with more than 10 cores not being supported very well, but I'm running on a quadcore CPU so that's not to blame. My other games launch just fine; it seems to be JUST Dead Space 2 that's giving me trouble. Furthermore, I've taken in all Windows 10 updates, and my GPU (GTX970) drivers are up-to-date too. I've also re-run the "vcredist" installers that come in the game's installation directory (\__Installer\vc\vc2008sp1\redist), but the error keeps occurring. Next, I also downloaded the more recent versions of these vcredist installers from Microsoft directly (https://learn.microsoft.com/en-US/cpp/windows/latest-supported-vc-redist?view=msvc-170, followed by choosing the "2008" version). Unfortunately, that also doesn't solve the launching problem. In other topics, I've seen people suggest to run "sfc /scannow" in an elevated command prompt to verify system health, but that doesn't find any system corruptions on my computer. Lastly, in the Windows event log, I also can't spot any errors related to the EA-App or Dead Space 2. Please -- the EA App reports that it's an issue on _your_ end. I also strongly believe that the problem is tied to the EA-App, and not to my computer. Can you please look into this from your end? Finally, I'd just like to mention that the EA-App would come across as more professional by not being so vague in its error reporting. The current error message just mentions "an error on our end", but that doesn't really give your support team that much clarity to efficiently troubleshoot. The very long list of suggested fixes above is a clear indication of this, too; it kind of feels like we're blindly debugging because the root cause is not reported clearly. Thanks in advance!Solved7.9KViews0likes65Comments[Under Investigation] Dead space 3 Multiple achievements won't trigger
Lately I’ve finished Dead Space 3 on hardcore difficult. But the achievement didn’t unlock. i tried to finish it a second time, but nothing changed. So I’ve tried again deleting the saves, and finish it again but yet… no achievement. Earlier I noticed that a popup told me I finished the game on hardcore before the end, but I didn’t bother and went on. It happened more or less as EA solved the bug on the achievement “Brave New World”. I tried to delete the game and install it again (on 2 different PCs), but the cloud saves doesn’t allow me to “factory reset” the game. i looked for the “progressions” file, but haven’t a clue. Any help?Solved3.2KViews2likes77Commentscould not initialize display hardware dead space

After beating the game, the game now crashes right after the last scene of the game and right before the end credits roll. I have no other problems with the game until the that scene happens. EA has consigned Dead Space, one of the very best horror franchises in the history of gaming, to oblivion because its sales “did not meet expectations.” So, EA, what were your insanely overpaid executives’ expectations? How were they not met? The remake was well received on Steam, though accurate sales figures are hard to come by. Why won’t EA say truthfully why the rumored Dead Space 2 remake was cancelled? Why won’t they consider funding a Dead Space 4? EA doesn’t seem to care about what gamers want. I don’t think EA sees gamers as anything more than wallets to be opened and emptied to maximize short-term profits for shareholders. EA isn’t a game publisher anymore. I seriously doubt they care about the quality of the content they’re producing, since the vast majority of their games chase trends and don’t try anything new. EA executives force unfinished games out the door and fire the blameless developers when those games don’t do well. EA executives force developers to alter their games to follow trends, like forcing a dev that makes excellent single player games into turning what they’re working on into a live service game with endless micro transactions just to make it playable, and when the game doesn’t do well, EA executives close that studio, putting talented developers out of work. Executive meddling in game design decisions and prioritizing maximum profits over quality and originality is ruining gaming. It sure ruined BioWare, turning the legendary Dragon Age series into yet another poorly written ARPG. EA’s behavior mirrors that of publishers all across the industry, and I’ve had enough. I’ve been playing video games since the old Atari consoles and the 386 processor were cutting edge tech. I’ve seen the evolution of the entire game industry, and as soon as industry revenues started reaching tens of billions, the business executives took over and now the vast majority of AAA games are terrible, with many titles in each genre practically identical. I will no longer buy games from EA or any of the other major publishers. Indie games may not have the best graphics, but they more than make up for that in creativity. Besides, Larian is an independent developer, and Baldur’s Gate 3 was a bestselling work of art, showing what developers can do when they’re left alone to make the kind of games they WANT to make. So, EA, go on making the same games over and over again, chasing trends, stifling creativity, abusing developers, and letting your best classic IPs languish in limbo. I’ll save my respect and hard earned cash for developers and publishers that respect gamers and work hard to earn it.112Views0likes0Comments
