Steam Deck isn't able to launch EA app/Dead Space 3
This is in regards to Dead Space 3. Have previously been able to co-op between my friend on the Steam Deck and myself on a Windows 11 PC. Now within the last few months the EA app is unable to launch on his steam deck. His files are verified on steam, and he tried an earlier version of Proton and Proton Experimental to no avail. I read online and some people have commented that an update to the EA app broke something for Steam Deck users. Would love to be able to continue the co-op :(
Dead Space 3 Origin/Steam Grey screen crash
Hey, i've been struggling to get Dead Space 3 to work on PC lately. It used to work for years on the exact same computer. any time there's a quick time event the game gets a gray screen then crashes a few seconds later. Both steam and Origin versions have same problem. I've tried windowed with vsync off, reinstalling, verifying files, reinstalling DX setup and vcredist manually. 10+ nvidia graphics updates later and still same issue.
Dead Space Crashing on PS5
I have had several crashes now when playing Dead Space remake on PS5. The screen will go black and I will here an audio buzz until it eventually just powers the console down. I have to press the power button twice to get it to come back online. Since I have moved from surround sound multi Chan setup to headphones it appears to be more stable, but need to give it more time to see if that really made a difference.Dead Space 3 - Help Steam Achievements
Hello EA Support, I'm contacting you regarding Dead Space 3 on Steam. Since an update released in 2024, several Steam achievements appear to have become unobtainable. As a result, it is currently impossible for players to complete the game 100%. The achievements affected are: - Aren't You Thankful? - Supercharger - Survivalist - Pure Lunacy Could you please investigate this issue? If restoring the required functionality is no longer possible, I would appreciate it if these achievements could be updated or removed from the Steam achievement list so that completion remains achievable. Unable to install Dead Space 3
What purpose does the forum or any "support" entity of EA even serve? In the information age, you cant get prompt responses on game-specific forums here, and of all the threads I have read in this area, the community managers basically say "there is nothing we can do." Hello EA, I’d like to report an ongoing issue with several achievements in Dead Space 3: Survivalist, Aren’t You Thankful?, Pure Lunacy (DLC), and Supercharger (DLC). These appear to be unobtainable under normal conditions. This has been affecting players for quite some time now, and it prevents completionists from achieving 100% in the game. It would be great to get some clarification on whether a fix is planned. If fixing them isn’t possible, please consider removing these achievements, as was previously done with Brave New World. Hello, I just downloaded the game, and every time I try to launch it I get an error message that says: 'failed to launch game' an error on our end caused the launch to fail. try again a little later. What should I do? It has already been showing me the same message for 3 days since installation.
Broken achievements
Hey EA, It’s really frustrating that 4 achievements in Dead Space 3 are currently impossible to unlock: Survivalist, Aren’t You Thankful?, Pure Lunacy (DLC), and Supercharger (DLC). It feels like we’re being punished for playing your game properly. Please either fix these achievements so they can actually be earned, or just remove them. Leaving them broken like this is unfair and only hurts the player community. We’ve been enjoying your games for years, but stuff like this makes it feel like you don’t care about the players. I have a microsoft surface book 2 I am trying to launch Dead Space 3 on but am receiving an error "This game will not run in a virtual environment". Most surface devices you are not able to disable virtualization extensions. I am confused though because I also have a desktop running with vt-d enabled and it launches the game just fine. I've gone through a gauntlet of items turning windows features on and off trying to figure out how to get past this error but to no avail. Am I missing something about Microsoft surface devices that causes them to get flagged in error? [Xbox One] Unable To Claim Dead Space 3 Online Pass From The In Game Store
So recently i wanted to play for the first time Dead Space 3 with my friend, and noticed that i need an add-on to be able to play Co-op with him, I checked the Xbox store and that specific content the isn't available same with Microsoft store, tried to access it from the menu of the game "downloadable content" and its giving me this specific message "Cannot retrieve information from the Xbox LIVE Marketplace. Please check your connection and try again." but noticed that my friend has access to this option and had no issues claiming the content (Online pass). Thanks in advance.
Dead Space Remake invisible characters after loading a save issue
I seem to be having an odd issue that occurs after the game loads a save. It will save just fine but when I load sometimes Isaac will be invisible except for his weapon which floats in the air now. Also when this loadup issue happens I noticed necromorphs were also invisible. I had to start a new game to get around the issue the first time but then I was playing almost an hour and happened to be caught in a bad spot and killed. Well when it loaded the last save after death I had the invisible character glitch again. So I tried closing the game and relaunching in hopes it would work normally but it appears that the invisible glitch will persist in your saves once it happens and the only solution at this time is to start a new game again. I don't want to have to do that each time this weird issue happens. I hope that it can be patched up soon so I can enjoy the rest of the remake. The funny thing is it runs fluidly smooth even when it glitches like that. Its just you obviously can't play through the game if you can't see Isaac or the enemies you're fighting against.
