DICE had something decent back at launch when it came to controler , the game was playable the game was ok and didnt need any increased aim assist .. Bad players must realise they are not that good and play the way worst players play and not rely on soft aimbot / aim assist ..
Even while i was playing old games on consoles i prefered games like Killzone or MAG on Ps3 wich had little to no aim assist at all and were pretty skills based and much more fun
I've been playing GTAO for years. In free aim lobbies, if someone is using so-called "free aim assisted" (slowdown only) he is called a cheater by controller players. There is a reason for the seperation of auto aim and free aim, and the reason why "free aim assisted" is considered a cheat by controller users in lobbies where the vast majority of players are not using any aim assists. GTA V/O feels 1000 times worse on controller than 2042. It's also a game haunted by cheats, exploits, cheese, toxicity, and OP weapons and vehicles. Yet this opinion on "free aim assisted" is universally agreed upon. Controller users who can't aim and have no desire to, should be segregated. It should not even be a discussion. Stop talking about surface area of the mouse and all this garbage. Anyone who learns to aim won't even enjoy aim assist let alone want it. The horniness for AA is so cringe.
