By Dragon Age, you're referring to The Veilguard?
Is EA working towards an approval for the game in India in time for the game's release?
I'm sorry, but this is patent nonsense. India does not have such a Ratings Board. It has not stopped you from releasing dozens if not hundreds of other EA titles, including Mass Effect Andromeda. Please ask the team why they feel the need to feed us untruths.
Exactly.
Its been 10 years since Inquisition. How can EA fail to get yet another Dragon Age approved in India?!
How did games like The Witcher 3 and Baldur's Gate 3 pass through certification in India then?
What is this mysterious Ratings Board that EA keeps hiding behind?Very disappointing!
If it's truly an issue with a Ratings Board in India,
Could you elaborate on which specific "Ratings Board" in India that's preventing yet another Dragon Age from being approved for release even after 10 YEARS?
You can ask your team again and let us know.

I wanted to share a quick update on this as we've reached out to the team to get more clarification.
At this time Dragon Age is not available in India due to the game not being reviewed and approved locally by a Ratings Board for the region.
Apologies for the frustration this might cause. Cheers!
Who "reviewed and approved" Mass Effect: Andromeda then? There is no ratings board for video games in India. Even sex games are released without regulation here.

What ratings board? India doesn't have a ratings board for video games! And how was Mass Effect: Andromeda "reviewed and approved" then?
Inquisition is available on Epic. Already own it there as well. This makes no sense! Just make it available on steam so we can own all three on the steam account. There is no reason it should still be unavailable considering the sheer nonsense available on steam. Plus Andromeda is available.
What it appears like is that you guys set the region lock a while back and never reverted it.We all know this answer does not make sense.
Games similar to Dragon Age get released without issue on Steam and other places. And there are no "Ratings Board" in India checking on video games.
We would appreciate a clear and honest answer. What happened with Dragon Age specifically? We would love to help out so that Inquisition and "The Veilguard" get launched and get sales in India. I think that's what you guys want as well.
Not to be rude but, do you really think India has some regulatory board for gaming which lead to not allowing dragon age veilguard to be sold in the country
This ain't the first time I've seen it happen
There is no ratings board that approves games in India. There are alot of RPG and Dragon Age fans here that would love to play and promote Veilguard so please be more transparent with this audience.
I would really appreciate that you guys look a bit more thoroughly into this issue and not replying with the same placeholder text again.
Hi,
Could you please elaborate which "ratings board" has denied the certification?
We can raise a PIL against the board asking for the reasons.
But as far as I am aware there are no ratings board in India for games.
If you guys have decided to self regulate again, please be clear and don't paste a generic message.
Please get this cleared up. This is absolutely not the case. It has been reported here that this decision was made 10 years ago due to the distributor lacking financially and giving EA the wrong advice. There is absolutely no reason for EA to skip out the country with the biggest population in the world.
- Please just get the message across that people are ready to give EA money and make it available to purchase
This does not make any sense, how is it only applicable to Dragon Age - Vielguard, are you saying Sims 4, Dragon Age - Origins and 2 does not have homosexual content? Why all those games are available everywhere in India? Your reasoning is not at all valid, because there are no laws prohibiting this game from release. Just look at Steam India Storefront, all kind of AAA games with all kinds of content and trash games are released without any issues.
Please at least put some effort, you are alienating a sizeable population from playing this game.
Hey, at least I'm climbing up the ranks on answers dot ea dot com. I'm currently a 4 star apprentice or something.
