Re: EA Desktop Crash on App Launch

Restarting my machine fixed the issue. It should be noted, there was no prompt suggesting restart after installation. The installer attempted to call the executable directly after installation and had the same error noted in the original post.

Also, in the bug report linked, there is an additional issue listed with the character counter for the bug reporter.

Best of luck guys, I really want this to take off and replace Origin 🙂

    I thought this would fix the 100% cpu usage of Apex but to no avail. This game has been playable for 2 years until the past week when its now unplayable as it lags in-game with high cpu usage constantly even with all the game settings on low. NO other game does this and no other game have i tried tweaking so many settings, rolling back or re-installing drivers.

    Given there are tens of thousands of people saying the same thing i am at a disbelief this issue is not being addressed at all let alone as a high priority issue.

    This is a P1/S1 issue you need to action now given the money spent by people on this game.
