There is a workaround described in this post.
In short, you need to get the *.msi installer of the Desktop app.

Yes it work well, but i can link my xbox account

how do i get this msi installer of the desktop app
- Press the Windows key and R at the same time.
- Type or copy and paste %PROGRAMDATA% into the new window > Hit ENTER.
- Type or copy and paste EADesktop into the Windows Explorer search bar > Hit ENTER
- Double click the EADesktop-xx.x.xxx.xxxx-xxx.msi (The numbers may vary.)
- The MSI installer will give you three options > choose “remove”.
(If you never installed or attempted to install EA Desktop before, just try to install.)
- After the process is finished, you should be able to install with the normal installer or the *.msi.
