I'm losing my account because my email has been hacked
I have had my EA account since 2014. I own multiple Sims games including a large Sims 4 collection. However I am also much to my detriment quite private, so I never linked any accounts with my EA, never added phone number and left it connected to an old email I used specifically for this account. All my invoices are there, everything. That email account is now gone. I can't recover it. I don't even know how it happened. But that puts me in a predicament. I'm still logged in my EA account for now, but once it kicks me out, I lose everything. I went to live chat, I even made a purchase directly before my sixth attempt, gave them the email and the details of this purchase. I made sure it included the whole official name as The Sims™ 4 Desert Luxe Kit (with the tm in it), gave them last 4 digits of my credit card I used for it. Only to be told that they cannot verify my account, but to "not lose hope because I am close". Well, I'm losing hope. Because I don't know what else to do. I have minimum details on my account and the stuff I do have there is all locked behind verification code to be sent to the email address I can no longer access. My own privateness put me in this mess, which I understand, but reading over and over the same message from the agents on live chat is not helpful. I invested a lot of money into this account, what can I possibly do make sure I don't lose it forever?SolvedAsseisha8 hours agoNewcomer8Views0likes1CommentMy account was hacked and i got banned
So I recently discovered my ea account had been hacked and that they changed the email linked to it when i tried playing titanfall 2 through steam. I was able to recover my account through the ea support but i was told by support that i had been banned in apex. I was told i could just appeal it with the tos team and it should be fixed. I have appealed it almost 6 teams now and its been 3 weeks since my first appeal and i keep getting denied without any explanation. I cant even try to talk to them since they have no way to contact the tos team and if you contact the support team they tell you to send an appeal so you just end up in a never ending loop. I did some research and this has been an issues across many users and just shows that ea doesn't take their customer security seriously. Scrolling through this forums you will find hundreds of messages just like mine as well as through any other forums or social medias.17Views0likes1CommentTrying to switch EA account linked to PlayStation account
Me and some of my friends (two brothers) were trying to get back into pvz: gw2, but they accidentally signed the wrong PlayStation account into the wrong ea account (Ps account A had EA account B). So we unlinked it to swap it, then got hit with "you cannot swap" (do not remember exact message, but it won't let us sign in a new account). So now one of their accounts are locked out of having an ea account linked. They can't even play the game at all. How do we fix this?Solvedrocketriley2523 hours agoRising Newcomer45Views0likes4CommentsEA App Nickname
I've looked at previous forums regarding this and it's outdated as the edit profile option is not there for me. I can not change it and i do not want strangers knowing sensitive information since EA randomly choose a nickname based on an email i used and not even going on the website does nothing. Please fix this so i can change it and not have to worry about it. Thank you74Views0likes2CommentsEA Account Was Hacked And I Lost Everything
On 3 different occasions with 3 different operators Ive tried to regain access to my hacked ea account. The hacker changed the email address and apparently that makes it impossible to recover it back. My phone number, steam account, and address are all linked to that account and yet I've got told on 3 different occasions that there's nothing they can do because I didn't provide verification of ownership when I could literally show them my ID, provide them my phone number code, or even a steam code if they needed. It's so unfair that the only way to recover an account is to have access to the email of said account if you can't provide answers to the original email used to the create the account 8+ years ago your account is just lost forever with your information still attached. At the very least I requested my steam profile, phone number, and address to be removed from the account and was told there was nothing they could do. I'm at a lost for words. I can't play apex legends because my steam was linked to that account and I have lost my sims 3 which I recently purchased and sims 4 Ive had since 2020-2022. I'm about to start crying. I have proof of them sending codes to my email when trying to get into my account before they accessed it and changed the email address.7obthmb9s1lo3 days agoRising Newcomer48Views0likes3CommentsMy account was stolen
My account has been hacked. When I try to log in with my email address or phone number, I get a "mail or number not found" error. When I enter my email address and click "forgot password," it asks if I want a code sent to a completely different email address. I've been using this hacked account for years and have made purchases before. I have screenshots of the receipts in my email. The email address of the hacked account is: [edit: email address removed]. Please help me get my account back. [Image removed - CM]32Views0likes1CommentEA APP WILL LITERALLY NOT WORK
Here we go, So I'm trying to play the sims offline as my current internet connectivity is incredibly spotty, let's go through how ''truly easy'' the app makes it for PAYING CUSTOMERS to use their platform: You have to log in to the EA App while you are connected to the internet - how is there in 2026 NOT an option to access your App offline??????????? So, I manage to FINALLY gain access to my app while online, then I go to settings to switch it to offline mode, great now the app is offline. I click on the sims to start playing - I get an error code stating that I haven't logged on in a while and I need to restart the app, log in again, so EA can verify my credentials, baring in mind I was already logged in (as you HAVE to be to access offline mode?!?!) Fine, I close the app, log in again, go to offline mode, click the the sims to play and as a surprise to nobody that uses the EA app, the same error message pops up - I've tried this now 15 times: receive the error message, close the app, restart the app online, log in succesfully, go offline, click to play my game.... and the cycle restarts (super fun groundhog day i'm having) I'm sorry but this is an absolute farce, the amount of money I've spend on buying the sims and all of it's expansions, game packs, stuff packs, (freaking KIT PACKS) since the sims 1 - and I cannot access the product which I own in a manner that works for me??????????????? And finally to EA DIRECTLY - if Origin possessed the function to access your games offline back in 2010, How is it possible that EA does not have this functionality in 2026?! How is it possible that EA has the WORST APP regarding electronic games in the entirety of technological history?! How is it possible that your app continues to throw errors at customers time and time again, with no improvement from your side?Chanela1236 days agoRising Newcomer663Views0likes2CommentsApp opening itself
The EA App has decided to open itself while I'm playing non EA games. Who in the world decided it would be a good idea to open your app in your user's face while they are actively doing something else? I don't even have it set to open on start up. Yet EA App decides its so important that it can open itself over top of games I am playing? Not only am I uninstalling the launcher when I finish the game associated with it, I will be actively avoiding any future games that require it. Even if there is a 'fix'? Not interested. I already had to find a convoluted fix to stop the EA App from muddling control inputs when played in conjunction with a Steam game, I'm not investing more time in training this app to do what every single other app in existence already does: only open when I tell it to.dbc6762d0dfa0f737 days agoRising Newcomer30Views0likes1CommentCan't Unlink accounts
Everytime I try I follow the steps to unlink my Xbox and Steam Account but for some reason it doesn't work, it just doesnt do anything. I know I am banned from Fifa (I actually don't know why since I haven't done any cheats) but as far as I know that doesn't matter (I've read that I can't unlink if the account itself is banned).roro34708 days agoNewcomer41Views0likes1CommentCan't connect with EA Account

Hi The EA app showed me a special offer in the form of a Flash Sale. I wanted to buy The Sims 4 Get famous through it, saying that it costs 19.99 euros at a discount. After clicking the "purchase" button, the price was 39.99 euros. Hello EA Support, I am contacting you because I recently noticed unusual activity related to my EA account, and I believe someone may have accessed it without my permission through an email or login that I do not recognize. Because of this, I would appreciate it if your team could review the recent activity connected to my account. I care a lot about my account and have always tried to use it responsibly. I have also submitted support tickets before, but unfortunately I have not received a response, which is why I am reaching out again and hoping someone can help me look into this situation. If possible, please help me investigate the activity on my account and let me know if there is anything I can do to secure or recover access to it. Release a new build of the EA App that removes this specific, unnecessary, and coercive "Error," and lets us play on precisely the version of The Sims 4 we wish. For me, that's game version 1119. How many times must we "ask nicely." Thankfully, there's Paralives now.49Views0likes1Comment
