Xbox app linked to someone elses EA account
This is beyond **bleep**. So here is what happened: Got Xbox gamerpass. Long time ago, I went to install the Command and Conquer Remastered game, and so when I went to install, it had me download the EA app and it automatically logged me into some other persons EA account. How? I have no clue. Neither does EA. Neither does Microsoft. Fast forward many months later, still happening so I decide to do something about it. I had full control of this other persons account, so I contact EA and let them know whats going on, and I wanted this other person to have their account back. I assumed this would be the end of it. Fast forward a few more months (today), and same thing, Xbox is logging me into a different persons EA account. So I contact Microsoft, and let them know whats going on, and they swiftly tell me its an EA problem, nothing they can do. So I contact EA today, give them the whole story, they inform me its a Microsoft problem, they cant do anything about it. So after going round and round, they tell me to just unlink the Xbox account, but I keep telling them, there is no option to do so. There is no button to unlink, only buttons TO LINK other platforms. So they say "welp, nothing can be done. Try posting in the forum". So I did. And I cant imagine anyone here can do anything. Anyone else experience this? Super bizarre, but sure seems like it should be a simple "Oh, you got access to someone elses account, thats no good. Let me unlink that so you can just link your own account." But no, that would make too much sense. Thanks for listening...

If your company continues to ignore my request, I will have no choice but to consider filing a complaint with the relevant regulatory authorities and taking further legal action.
How do I play the Sims 4 offline with the EA app?
I have recently installed the EA app, as was recommended. Before with the Origin app I could choose the play offline, but now that is not possible anymore. My internet is currently down. I cannot open the Sims without opening the EA app, and the EA app does not work offline. Is there any way to solve this or to bypass the EA app?
Unable to redeem games with Vanilla Gift Card
The title says it all. I was given a vanilla gift card for Valentine's Day, to buy games. I figured I could use up the money on the card and split the payment with another card on file to purchase multiple games. Unfortunately, I am unable to link the card to my account, so I tried looking for an online EA gift card purchase screen so I can use the gift card to buy that, but again, no luck. Is this gift card essentially useless when it comes to EA?Login to EA App
Hello, Dear EA I would like to ask if there is a possibility to add QR code when you are logging in like it is on Steam. We have times where almost everyone got QR Code scanners in their smartphones so you won't have to make an EA Mobile or something like that, when everyone have their phone numbers connected as well so you could maybe think or you are thinking about that maybe. I was trying to get my son's Xbox account linked to an EA account so that he can access EA Play with his Gamepass subscription. During the setup process, I opened a child account using my e-mail. Problem is, when trying to log in to the desktop app with his child account, it gives an error saying that the app is unavailable at this time and requires you to log out immediately. The app works just fine while using my login credentials. My second problem is, now his Xbox account is linked to that child account so is unable to use EA Play at all. I've also found no way to edit a child account in order to unlink his Xbox from the child EA account. That account doesnt show up under my household like a teen account would. If I login to xbox and EA with my account EA Play for Gamepass through the Xbox App works great.
Game license is invalid
Please stop deleting/moving my post and actually help me!!!!! When I try to run The Sims 4 game, I keep getting this message. "The app couldn't read the game's license file, so If the problem continues, try clearing your cache." I have been having this problem since the last EA App update. I can run other games with the app. It seems only The Sims 4 is affected. I have cleared the cache several times as suggested. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the EA App, as well as launching the EAUpdater.exe. I did the repair game option a couple of times. I have disabled my anti-virus and VPN. I have tried to find any solutions on the forum, but I have only seen other players posting about having the same problem, but not getting any answers or help. I have been playing The Sims since The Sims 1 was released. I was even a beta tester of Sims Online. I have spent so much time and money on this game and I feel like I'm just being left out in the cold. EA just wants my money, but can't be bothered to help when they break the game.GCash Payment Method Missing
Hi, it's my first time posting something like this but has the GCash payment been removed from the EA app? I was hoping to buy 2 DLCs for the Sims 4 before the Spring Sale ends but I couldn't find the GCash payment method. I've been using it before, my most recent purchase was Seasons in Feb. 9 this year. I tried other non-Sims 4 games as well but it just keeps asking for credit card or Paypal. Just asking if this is a temporary or permanent thing, and if they have any plans to bring it back. Kinda sad since some of us don't use credit cards, but can pay for purchases via other methods like the Gcash I mentioned. *For reference, Gcash is a payment method used in the Philippines
