An incompatible version of the game exists on your device..

EA needs to dump their launcher altogether. I have the Sims 4 on Xbox (Game Pass) with a whole bunch of paid dlc. I also have The Sims 4, with paid dlc, on pc. Nothing will run. I checked the Xbox pc app to make sure the version I had installed on the game system was the version that required an Xbox controller, which it is, and the Steam version is pc; I have never used the controller for the pc version. So, EA has me attached to both Xbox and Steam but cannot differentiate between the two accounts or game versions. So much so, one of the paid dlc from Xbox was given to me free via EA on Steam. The EA app lists some of the Steam dlc content as Xbox dlc and visa verse. The game refuses to open because of the EA launcher. After making sure all three apps can communicate with each other, today I get the message to uninstall the Steam version because it is incompatible. NO!! The Steam version was purchased via Steam, not EA directly, so why should I have to uninstall the software I purchased the game through because the launcher is some garbage? Dump the app before people, like me, start demanding their money back for months of not being able to play their games due to your dysfunctional software. Admit you suck at the launcher design business and be done with it. It's not like we do not know who EA is. Get off your own hoo-hoos and get some work done!!!

I have the same problem with you on FC 24, need to reinstall when playing on different launcher. You have it fixed?
