Re: EA App makes me miss Origin...

@battlefrog898 I do miss features of Origin myself. What other aspects of Origin would you like to see in the EA App that is not there? For myself, removing game from the library for EA Play or in general was nice. Made it more clean especially if I don't have access to the game any longer.

It would be nice if the EA app was functional. It really isn't.

I had to go through two different HQ forums to go through a whole set of hoops which were for some reason also on fire to get my game to update and start.

As for features; it would be *nice* if it doesn't show a whole lot of DLC as if I can buy them *while I already own them*, usually in the form of bundles. Or having an 'offer' of 'Play Pro' to get "additional content" that I also, y'know, already own. It feels like an intentional marketing trap on a disfunctional app.

Having a tiny scroll list of installed DLC for a game is useless for a game like The Sims. There is no way you can have any way of having an overview in the app. I'm glad you can at least see that kind of thing in-game these days. Y'know, if you can get it to launch.

/if it wasn't so terrible and sad, it would be laughable so bad

The ability to play offline. EA treats their customers like pirates and it's off putting.

The new EA app has zero useful features for the overlay in game. Why even bother. Everything useful in the Origin version has been removed.

The absolute unforgivable thing that happened was having the EA App tell me that I had no games in my account for roughly 24 hours because of an outage. See my first note about EA treating their customers like pirates.

EA has very few games that are compelling to me anymore. EA bought Maxis and destroyed the Sim City brand. EA bought Bioware and it has been six years since an honest to god new single player story driven RPG has been released.

When Bioware is shuttered I'll have no further reason to shop on the EA app. RIP Bioware.

It boggles my mind. EA owns the rights to Star Wars for video games. They own Bioware. Knights of the Old Republic was an amazing franchise and yet nothing. Why did you buy Bioware if you're going to run it into the ground? EA where brands go to rot.
