Well for me it's BF and FC. It takes two works normaly for some reasons...

I'm trying Origin, working, but tells me to update to EA that doesn't work... 

I dont know. I cannot run ea app for Gods sake.And i cannot install origin there is some problem too.This is so frustrating.

Yes, it gives me an option "please use EA APP" and that's about it.

Can't run origin anymore.

No idea why they don't patch something so simple when other EA games work with Steam if you buy it on Steam.

I fix it somehow.But fix was hard reseting whole windows.So give it a try and hope u for the best.

Did u delete all your data or just windows reinstall, because i switched to 11 and still the same problem.

That app has been bugged even since launch. Same with Origin. But it´s a product from EA so there is no surprise there...

@skunyyy Have you tried repairing the game in Steam app?

Did you try uninstalling the EA app, then reinstall the EA app?

but yes, i did, i reinstalled windows 10, than installled new windows 11

this is the last thing that happend before EA APP stoped working.

I have changed the steam download region, cleared cache, even support reached out that everything is fine on there side.

Yes, and it all comes down to EA app not opening. Only update app works, app recovery or ea desktop ea service is not working.

I can't even generate a bug report log because the APP doesn't open, just closed instant it was open.

I have check all windows updates and have up-to-date.

Same thing with FC 25 

Just doesn't open, and my ticket is still getting resolved without any e-mail or contact info or reply what so ever. 

I have the same problem for 4 days, I dont know whats wrong, I dont wont to install new windows because this EA app stopped working after an update, this is a joke

You have a work around with Origin but the point is that EA App doesn't work or the installed help exe files and no one cares 

I understand what you're saying now. You're saying the EA app doesn't work and won't open.

Have you tried uninstalling the EA app using Add/Remove Programs in Windows OS settings?

Does the EA app show up as an installed app in Windows Add/Remove Programs list?

It shows installed, when u try to open the uninstaller from EA doesn't open/work. Had to download windows uninstaller because when i manualy delete all EA files, they still showd up in start. But generaly, when u try to open a game over steam, EA doesn't work.

The only game it does work is: It Takes Two, simple EA login with no EA app over Steam. 

Same here. Tried to open the Sims and the EA was just not launching at all. Tried redownloading and all the compatibility changes, nothing works. Hopefully it's just a patch bug and it'll be fixed in a week or so. I know it worked like a week ago before the patch, if you can try to restore it to an older version?

Hi you can't, but you can use origin before it shutsdown till they fix it...

Hi, I can give Teamviewer or Remote Desktop to EA Staff for data collection. 

I have run all posible issues, it's like i'm hardware banned from EA Desktop APP and Steam to EA doesn't work because the EA Desktop App doesn't even open, it did work but it stoped.
