Re: EA Play Pro Membership was canceled due to payment method
My subscription was going to be renewed for 999.99 TL. I tried to make a payment to continue my subscription before, but the page it directed me to only said ERROR, so I waited, thinking that EA would notify me by email when they wanted to withdraw the money. Not even a minute passed between the warning email and the cancellation email. I wouldn't expect a big company like EA to do something like this. Here's how it happened chronologically:
1) First, the price update was sent via email. The price was 120 Dollars, around 4200 TL in Turkish Lira.
2) 1 month before my membership was to be renewed, an email was sent and it was said that only 999.99 TL would be charged for the continuation of my EA Play Pro subscription.
3) Then I tried to make a direct payment to continue my subscription, but the page gave an ERROR.
4) I waited for the payment to be taken, but after the payment was not made, the Please update your payment method. and Membership cancelled. emails came at the same time.
Last year, I received the Please update your payment method email on the same date and time. I saw it and 50 minutes later I updated my payment method and continued my subscription. Why is EA canceling the membership without warning? It is said that the 999.99 TL subscription continuation email was sent incorrectly and if so, we are not at fault.
The fact that these two emails came at the same time shows EA's cunningness and if I can't get a result from here, I will take legal action. Because I am completely right about this issue and EA support team has never helped. You can't steal my rights with a 1-month EA Play Pro membership gift. I am also sharing all the screenshots in the attachments.
