Re: EA Launcher doesn´t install in choosen directory
I can find no option in app's own settings, to move the location of the app 'EA Desktop'. It installed itself when I launched 'Battlefield 2042' for the first time, via Steam.
into the wrong hard drive (not the one Steam installs games to). dohhhhh... classic EA.
If I locate the .exe folder and move it, BF2042 cannot launch, even if I change the target path of EA Desktop app in properties (in both the boxes) to match the new location of the .exe that was in there previously.
Every.

Search.
for this topic, leads me to info about changing the install dir of EA's games (which is not my issue, or particularly difficult)
So, how do I move EA Desktop? and a followup - Why doesn't it install to the same drive as the game that trojan'd it into my system in the first place?
and a follow up to that - Why can't EA make an application that functions like 99.99% of all applications, with a prompt to choose the install directory upon install?
While I'm sure the "solution" will be incredibly unsatisfactory - I'm out of options. Please, blow my mind from sheer surprise. Direct me to the (likely non-existent) obviously labelled, user-friendly setting in the options that I somehow missed, that will allow me to fix this issue swiftly.
