@jmmontoro I had the same problem but I found a solution, clear the cache of the EA APP and the tray icon will appear again, but then do not change the settings in the APP, such as changing the language of the APP.

Hi, I did clear the cache, via the "Help - App Recovery - Clear Cache" menu. However, when the app starts up the icon still appear for only 1 second and then disappears. So, at least with the version I have, 5626 , the issue is not being fixed by clearing the cache.
However, I noticed also the following.
After launching the game Dead Space Remix and exiting the game, the tray icon reappears like magic...so it is a very strange bug indeed...
