Re: Download Rate decreasing to 0 while trying to download Sims 4 packs I purchased

Does anyone have any suggestions or thoughts on what I could do? the issue is still persisting and I'm still unable to download the several packs I purchased, unfortunately.

    @sumisims0 Typically when the download goes down like that it isn't an app issue, it's a network issue. Your connection only determines upload/download speed. The network (your ISP), firewall, antivirus, Windows Defender etc are what can cause issues like this.

    Let's try this.

    Paus or stop the download. 
    Go into the EA App settings, change the speed to 20MBs

    Close the app
    Disable your Antivirus for a moment
    Change UAC Controls within Windows

    Then unplug your router for about 2 minutes, connect again, and then try the download again.
